ELLSWORTH - Arthur Robert “Buck” Strong, Jr., 90, passed away April 27, 2023 in Salina. He was born September 5, 1932 in Athol, KS to Arthur Robert and Bessie Mae (Moore) Strong.

Buck married Joyce Mulkey in Smith Center, KS on December 24, 1950. 

He was the owner and operator of Buck’s, and a former member of Ellsworth Masonic Lodge, Ellsworth Fire Department, and National Campers and Hikers Association.

Buck is survived by his wife Joyce Strong of Ellsworth; son Jim Strong (Fred) of Wichita; daughter Kathy Lumsden (Bob) of Puyallup, WA; daughter Karen Janzen (Scott) of Ellsworth; son Ric Strong (Theresa) of Carrollton, TX; grandchildren Jess Reynolds (Lynette), Clint Fletcher (Jen), Rob Vivenzio (Jess), Chris Strong (Jeremy), Heather Taylor (Nick), Ryan Strong (Katie), and Richelle Bean (Phil); six great-grandchildren; and sisters Jeanne Arment and Jacque Scheideman.

A celebration of life service will take place 2-4 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Pines Apartments common room.

SALINA -&nbsp;Shirley A. Lang, 87, passed away April 27, 2023, at the Salina Presbyterian Manor.&nbsp; She was born March 18, 1936, in rural Republic County, Kansas, to Ernest and Amelia (Plucar) Chizek.&nbsp; 

Shirley grew up on the family farm with her two sisters, Violet (Garwood) and Marjorie (Walthers), attended Cuba schools, graduating from Cuba High School in 1954.&nbsp; Shirley attended Kansas State University.

Shirley was a longtime member of Sunrise Presbyterian Church.&nbsp; Shirley worked at Marymount College and retired from Saline County.&nbsp; 

After retirement, Shirley volunteered as an election worker and very much enjoyed volunteering at the Salina Regional Health Center.&nbsp; In 2019, Shirley moved to the Presbyterian Manor.&nbsp; Shirley loved her Sunrise Presbyterian and Presbyterian Manor communities.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (2013), and her sisters, Violet (Harry) Garwood and Marjorie (Dean) Walthers.&nbsp; 

Shirley is survived by her daughter Cheri (Kurt), of Sharon Springs KS/Phoenix area; two sons, Scott (Connie), of Salina, and Jay (Marnie), of Leawood; five grandchildren, Casey (Megan) Rhea, Keith (Ashlee) Rhea, Randi (Nick) Fouts and Emily and Charlie Lang; seven great-grandchildren, Lexi, Kendall, and Cadence Rhea, Kaylee and Braxton Rhea, Brinley and Reagan Fouts.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4th at Ryan Mortuary in Salina from 5-8 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m.&nbsp;&nbsp; A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 5th at 11 a.m. at Sunrise Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Deb Schmidt presiding.&nbsp;&nbsp; A short graveside service will be held at 2:30 at Bohemian National / Kopsa Cemetery in Cuba, KS, for friends and family in the Cuba area.

Esther Mae Thieszen, 92, of North Newton, Kansas, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023 at Kidron Bethel Village. She was born April 1, 1931 in Goessel, Kansas, the daughter of Jacob G. and Katharina (Woelk) Klassen. She graduated from Goessel High School and later received a degree from the Bethel Deaconess Nursing Program as a registered nurse. Esther specialized in geriatric nursing and worked as the director of nursing at various facilities throughout Kansas, Minnesota and Indiana. She was united in marriage to Harold D. Thieszen on September 18, 1953 at the Goessel Mennonite Church. They were married almost 70 years. Esther was a member of the Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton. Esther is survived by her husband Harold of the home; son Jon (Maurine) Thieszen of Lake City, IA; daughters Kathryn Thieszen of Kansas City, MO, and Barbara (John) Thiesen of Newton; grandchildren Patrick (Ashley) Thieszen and their children Evelyn and Jack; Erin (Brawley) Blair and their children Olivia and Ethan; and Andrew Thiesen (Annjela Abbey). She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Ella Deines; brother Walter Klassen; and infant brother Roline Klassen. Trudy was born in Belleville, Kansas, on December 24, 1947, and as a Christmas Eve baby found the date both fortuitous and sometimes frustrating. Her dad, Lad Drapal, often asked if she wanted one big present or two small ones. Like many of us, she wanted two big ones. Another factor was that dad always wanted a boy, so she tried to fill that role at times by helping in the fields, and walking barefoot through the corn to keep raccoons away.

Trudy received many gifts, most notably her ability to relate to others and treat everybody as a friend. Early years included strong participation in 4-H activities and winning many ribbons. The basement rafters at home in Cuba were festooned with a huge array of colorful ribbons won by the whole family. Beauty pageant participation was almost required of Trudy and her sister Janice. Czech festivals dominated family trips with the wearing of traditional costumes and singing Czech songs in the native language.

That brings up a bit of a theme with Trudy: she was a minor rebel. Janice learned Czech, so Trudy studied Russian. Instead of traveling to “the homeland” she joined a group called People to People. Several trips were made to Russia as a sponsor of high school students.

Trudy studied at Kansas State University and Emporia State, earning bachelor and master degrees in education. She taught in the Seaman District, then Blue Valley, and finally in Shawnee Mission. Teaching junior high school geography, Trudy and her fellow ninth grade teachers were moved to the four-year high school level (where she met Brian Angevine—her second husband). Her love of the Russian language and the friendly people stuck with her, leading her to establish a Russian language course at Shawnee Mission West high school—the first of its kind in the district. Two years of very early morning teaching Russian on television followed—along with some criticism from adult native speakers.

A big breakthrough occurred shortly thereafter. The district formed an international school to offer language and culture courses in Japanese, Chinese, Arabic and Russian. Trudy was instrumental in planning and developing the school and its curriculum. Each year a native speaker joined the school to help impart special knowledge. And each year students from each of the countries changed places with each other. Friendships acquired from those exchanges carried on the rest of Trudy’s life.

Trudy’s activities led her to go on a Fulbright-Hays scholarship trip to Poland and Japan. In addition she spent a summer studying at Moscow University. Finally, as a result of meeting Brian, she visited the “home country.” Brian was on a Fulbright-Hays scholarship program to Poland and the Czech Republic. Trudy joined him in Prague and spent a week visiting relatives, including a side trip to Slovakia and Vienna.

Trudy and Allen Ringer produced two children, Russell Neal Ringer and Tara Aneska (Ringer) Birdsall. Her children were the joy of her life and that pleasure increased with the birth of her grandson Connor Birdsall. Her union with Brian gave her kids a stepfather and Brian’s sons, Eric David Angevine (Charlottesville, Virginia) and Marc Allen Angevine (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), a distant stepmother.

A devout Catholic, Trudy was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Isidore church in Cuba, and St. Edward in Belleville. Good Shepherd Church in Shawnee Mission, and Corpus Christi church in Lawrence also served her needs.

Trudy passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 75.

Trudy was preceded in death by Lad and Viola Drapal, Allen Ringer, aunt Lavonne and Uncle Clarence Thomas, and brother-in-law Dr. Jerome Carrico.

She is survived by husband Brian Angevine (Lawrence), son Russ (Cuba), daughter Tara (Jeff Birdsall), and grandson Connor Birdsall (DeSoto), sister Janice Carrico (Beloit) and nephews Kevin, Kurt, and Kyle.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home in Belleville. Rosary/Vigil Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and the family will greet friends following the rosary.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 4, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Edward Catholic Church in Belleville, burial will follow at St. Isidore Catholic Cemetery in Cuba.

Arno Erich Rinas, 98, of Salina passed away January 28, 2023 at Salina Presbyterian Manor. Born March 9, 1924 in Arnsdorf, East Prussia, Germany; Arno immigrated to the United States as a child to North Dakota. He served in World War II and had a long career as a civil and structural engineer. He is survived by his children Becky (Hugh) Hyberger, Salina; Carrie Magill, Kansas City, MO; Suzie (Scott) Bertram, Lake Quivira, KS; Heidi (Eduardo) Contreras, Tulsa, OK; Polly (Joe) Janos, Huntersville, NC. His son Mark died in 1981.

Born March 9, 1924 in Arnsdorf, East Prussia, Germany; Arno immigrated to the United States as a child to North Dakota. He served in World War II and had a long career as a civil and structural engineer. He is survived by his children Becky (Hugh) Hyberger, Salina; Carrie Magill, Kansas City, MO; Suzie (Scott) Bertram, Lake Quivira, KS; Heidi (Eduardo) Contreras, Tulsa, OK; Polly (Joe) Janos, Huntersville, NC. Gwen Eck was born Gwendolyn Joyce Dix on February 13, 1933, in what was then The McPherson County Hospital. She was the youngest of three daughters born to George and Erma Dix. Her sisters, Hazel and Dora, were both much older, making her the baby of the family. 

While in high school, she was an accomplished baton-twirler and took great pride in leading the marching band in the McPherson County All Schools Day parade as well as performing at the bandshell.

While still in High School at age 17, she married her lifelong partner, Leonard Eck, on June 20, 1950. She would spend most of her adult life as a homemaker raising sons Joe, George and Jon, born of that union. One of her favorite hobbies was handwriting analysis, through which she obtained a master’s degree.

After her husband Leonard retired from Kansas Jack in 1993, he formed his own business called Ecktronics, and Gwen found a new role as his helper. She would handle the books, correspondence, shipping and other duties to help make Ecktronics a success.

After Leonard died in 2010, her cousin Joan gave her a cat that she named "Precious." Precious kept her company and occasionally nibbled on her tropical plants in the sunroom she greatly enjoyed.

Gwen went to be with her Lord and Savior April 27, 2023, at the home on north Hartup that she shared with Leonard for over 50 years. She was 90.

Survivors include sons Joe of the home and George (Ramona) of McPherson. 

Gwen was preceded in death by her husband Leonard, her parents, sisters, and son Jon.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson.&nbsp; A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 1, at Emmanuel Church Cemetery, 2161 Comanche Rd., Galva.

HAMPTON, VA -&nbsp;John S. Tripp, 84, passed away peacefully in his sleep April 14, 2023. John was born in Salina in 1938, the only child of Orval and Ruth Tripp. 

He earned electrical engineering degrees at Kansas State University and a Ph.D. at the University of Michigan. 

He served in the U.S. Army (1st Lt.). The Army sent him to NASA, in Hampton, Virginia, where he worked the rest of his career as an aeronautical engineer.

John had a massive stroke in February 2020, which left him almost totally paralyzed, but didn't dampen his sense of humor.

John was a faithful member of his church, teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and serving as church treasurer for nearly 30 years. John was always so kind and thoughtful, constantly looking for ways to help others.

John was predeceased by his parents. Left to treasure his memory are his cousins in Kansas and Colorado, his friends in Virginia, and his faithful dog Biscuit.

Jacqualyn Bernice Benton, 86, of Gainesville, MO, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. She was born on February 19, 1937, in Kansas City, MO, to Levester and Bernice (Anderson) Gay.

Jacqualyn was a life-long Salina resident. After retiring after many years as a bank teller, she took over at Benton’s café with her husband, Bennie. She was very active in her church community and loved to sing to her grandkids and loved cooking, making the best soul food. She wasn’t able to have her own children, but with a lot of love to give she accumulated many through the years.

Survivors include her daughters Latasha Ellison and Michele Humphrey of Salina; grandchildren Nalo Bishop, Ariana Benton, Davon Benton, and Aaden Ellison; great-grandchildren Dominick Benton and Narayah Benton-Bishop; and siblings Jack Gay (Gwen) of Bakersfield, CA, and Carnez Canada of Wichita, KS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Bennie Benton Jr.; brother Levester Gay Jr.; and sisters Najol Gay and Oneita Parker.

A graveside funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2023, at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Douglas Glen Gray&nbsp;was born January 29, 1934, and died April 25, 2023, in the care of hospice at home in Salina, Kansas. 

Doug was known by many as a man of great faith and principle. He lived life with an attitude of joy and sharing God’s love with those who crossed his path. He loved and supported his family, and his granddaughters were ‘his joy’.

Doug was born in Wichita, and, during his life, he lived in many places in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and finally in Salina for the last 61 years.&nbsp; Doug graduated from East High School in Wichita and from Wichita State University with a bachelor of fine arts degree.&nbsp; He also served as a First Lt. in the Kansas Army National Guard, certified in combat photography.

Doug spent the majority of his career as a marketing support manager/graphic artist for Wilson &amp; Company, Engineers and Architects, retiring after 40 years.

He was a member of Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, Salina where he served as the Moderator, Elder, and chair of numerous committees, and he was a member of Optimist Club. He also served as the Regional Moderator of Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Kansas, and as an advisory committee member for the Commercial Art program at Salina Area Technical College.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue (Hamilton) Gray; daughters Catherine “Cathy” Wilcox (Mike), their daughters Kenzie and Mallory; Emily Schrader (Doug) and their daughter Taylor; granddaughters Laural Gray and her daughter Penelope, and Addison Gray; and his sister Glenda (Bill) Young of Montana.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Eula (Bierman) Gray, his son Marc Gray, and many saints that filled his life with joy.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, Salina. Doug’s family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday April 27, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

He loved and supported his family, and his granddaughters were ‘his joy’.Doug was born in Wichita, and, during his life, he lived in many places in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and finally in Salina for the last 61 years.&nbsp; Doug graduated from East High School in Wichita and from Wichita State University with a bachelor of fine arts degree.&nbsp; He also served as a First Lt. in the Kansas Army National Guard, certified in combat photography.Doug spent the majority of his career as a marketing support manager/graphic artist for Wilson &amp; Company, Engineers and Architects, retiring after 40 years.He was a member of Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, Salina where he served as the Moderator, Elder, and chair of numerous committees, and he was a member of Optimist Club. He also served as the Regional Moderator of Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Kansas, and as an advisory committee member for the Commercial Art program at Salina Area Technical College.He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue (Hamilton) Gray; daughters Catherine “Cathy” Wilcox (Mike), their daughters Kenzie and Mallory; Emily Schrader (Doug) and their daughter Taylor; granddaughters Laural Gray and her daughter Penelope, and Addison Gray; and his sister Glenda (Bill) Young of Montana.Doug was preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Eula (Bierman) Gray, his son Marc Gray, and many saints that filled his life with joy.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, Salina. SALINA, -&nbsp;Richard Roughton, 81 passed away on April 23, 2023 at Salina Regional Health Center. He was born on December 12, 1941 in Hiwass, Arkansas to Bonnie and Kenneth Roughton.

 In 1963 he joined the Army, serving in Korea. 

After being discharged he met and married his wife of 57 years, Mary Henning.

He had three daughters, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He loved playing with his great-grandchildren, doing puzzles and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Richard had two sisters and two brothers. He was loved and will be missed by all.

Richard was preceded in death by in death by his parents, infant son Timmy, brother Marvin Roughton, and grandson Bradley Roughton.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Gypsum Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family and sent in care of the mortuary.

VernaBelle Rose Forsberg, 100, of Lindsborg passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Bethany Home of Lindsborg, KS.  VernaBelle was born October 11, 1922 in Roxbury, KS. She is the daughter of the late Francis and the late Sarah (Hesher) Hene.  

VernaBelle graduated high school and worked awhile as an office assistant. 

 She was also a mother and homemaker.  She was a member of Assaria Lutheran Church.  VernaBelle was the widow of the late Marion K. Norland and Glenn E. Forsberg. 

Survivors include her sons Craig Forsberg of Assaria, KS and Gene Forsberg (Peggy) of Boyle, KS; sister-in-law Ruth “Dolly” Nelson of Lindsborg, KS ; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

VernaBelle is preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; brothers Ivan Henne and Milan Henne; sister Delilah Ingram; sons Lyle Norland and Gary Forsberg; and grandson Luke Forsberg.

The funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6 at Assaria Lutheran Church, 124 W. 1st St, Assaria, KS with Pastor Dean Apel officiating.  There will be viewing and visitation time from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will follow the funeral at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Mentor, KS.

She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, fishing, and crocheting. She also enjoyed listening to music, and could play songs on the piano by ear. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her adoptive parents Edgar and Maxine McGuin, brothers David, Charlie, Floyd and Dwight, and sisters Bernita and Mary Beth.

She is survived by her children April Matlock (Jason), Mary Scalise (Ross), Casey Walker (Adrian), Clint Walker and James Walker; grandchildren Emma, Dalton, Jaxson and Sofie Matlock, Natasha and Quinn Scalise, Jade Walker, Michael, Andrew, Sarah, Garrick and Drake Walker, and Cody Beltran. Brian Neal Valcoure, age 49, formerly of Concordia, entered into rest on April 8, 2023 in Wichita, Kansas.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was born on May 13, 1973 in Wichita, Kansas.&nbsp;&nbsp;His parents are William and Judy (Sallman) Valcoure.

He was a 1991 graduate of Concordia High School, Concordia, Kansas.

He married Stacy Anderson in 1997. To this union four children were born, Brittany, Shayla, Kagen, and Austin. They later divorced. Brian went on to have two more children, Neveah, and Dakota.

Brian worked as a laborer in the construction field for various companies and for local farmers in the Concordia community.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He enjoyed Chiefs football, motorsports, fishing, listening to music, and being outdoors. Most of all he loved spending time with his beloved family and friends.

Brian is survived by his six children, Brittany (Andrew) Hall of IA, Shayla (Tevin) Petrie of TX, Kagen Benton and Austin Benton of KS, Nevaeh Valcoure, and Dakota Valcoure of KS; five grandchildren, Paxten, Paisley, Paelynn, and Parker Hall, and Everleigh Petrie; father William “Bill” (Lisa) Valcoure of KS; brother Charles (Anna) Valcoure of KS; stepsisters Michelle (Bryan) Bombardier of KS, Maria (Troy) Morris of NC, Amber (Joey) Doyle of KS, and Stephanie (Derrick) Downie, of KS; and grandmother Edith (Sallman) Linden of KS.

Born 23 June 1940, third of 13 kids, as an older sibling growing up she developed the personality traits she's been recognized for throughout her life - compassion, caring, generosity, and being an absolute assassin while competing at family board games. The adventure's next phase started after marrying her high school sweetheart Bill. The life of a military family is never boring, and Mary had her two children Shai and Kenny while moving around the world for almost twenty years. "Home is where your mom is" was our philosophy and she made a home of wherever we lived whether it was quarters in Fort Eustis, an apartment in Stuttgart with high-speed police chases, or eventually to a restored farmhouse in Chapman, KS where we graduated high school while dad deployed to Korea. There were many more stops in between but we always had "home," each other, and our eyes on the next adventure. The later Chapman phase added kids-in-law John Trotter (Shai) and Becky Wells (Kenny), and grandkids with Nicole, Jessica, and Jason Beck coming into the family, then not long after Keith and Kenton Aron and Chris and David Garrison. One well-earned retirement later brought the last move to Abilene and added Tommy and Lewis Trotter. After some grands were married (Jessica to Joe Ehrlich, Chris to Kamella, and David to Heather) they started cranking out the great-grands, with the last count around nine of them- Kayleigh, Sean, Piper, Tye, Kenslie, Kimberly, Ellie, Fisher, and Nora. Somehow the lax discipline which Mom showed the grandkids became even laxer with the greats, which none of us considered possible. She maintained a "tub of unlimited sweets" where the little ones knew they could grab a snack cake whenever they wanted; where was this when we kids were growing up? Although she pretended to give equal consideration to KU with her "house divided" propaganda she repeatedly confided in me that was just for show and KSU was the unadulterated recipient of her loyalty. I had to break this news gently to our first Emporia student, Lewis. Mary's heart was forever broken three years ago, almost to the day when Bill passed away. She personally placed flowers on his grave up to the week she passed. The next phase of the adventure begins. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 1, 2023 at First Christian Church of Abilene with Pastor Jason Kohler. Burial will follow at the Abilene City Cemetery. Friends may come by Danner Funeral Home on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. to sign the register book.

She was married on September 28,1963, to Walt Wilson of Huron, Kansas, to whom she was married for 51 years. They had two children, Karen and Steve, and resided in Salina all of their married life. 

Mary worked as a registered nurse at St. John’s Hospital, Salina, from 1963 to her retirement in 1981. Upon retirement, she did insurance physicals for local insurance agents and also was a delivery driver for Jim’s Pharmacy until the late 1990s. 

After retirement from the work force, she kicked her nursing skills back in place by taking care of her husband until his passing in July of 2015. 

She was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Mollie, as well as her granddogs.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Walt of Salina; parents John and Veronica Ernst of Atchison; and her twin brother John Ernst, also of Atchison. 

She is survived by her kids Karen Laas (Mark) of Brookville and Steve of Salina; sister Betty Larson of Everest, Kansas; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been chosen. Family and friends were invited to stop by Ryan Mortuary between 12 and 5 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023, to sign the register book and collect a memorial folder.&nbsp;

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Salina. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Old Huron Cemetery, Huron, Kan.

Joyce June Hall, 84, of Moore, OK, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at McPherson Health &amp; Rehab in McPherson, KS.

She worked as a purchasing manager at Vista Chemical in Oklahoma City, OK.

Joyce was born on March 15, 1939, in Lindsey, OK, the daughter of Clifton Hampton Blakley and Marjorie (Paxton) Blakley. 

On December 8, 1966, Joyce was united in marriage to Ronald Stuart Hall in Oklahoma.&nbsp; He preceded her in death on April 16, 2015.

Survivors include daughters Marcie Cottrell (Chris) of McPherson, KS and Sherry Hall of Effingham, IL, six grandchildren, Taylor Cup of Tecumseh, OK and his daughter Reagan Renee Cup; Kyle Cottrell of McPherson, KS; Linda L. Green (Matt) of McPherson, KS and their children Camaro and Chevelle Green; Rochelle Watson (Sank) of Tacoma, WA and their children Leona Charlotte, Sadie Bradley, and Josias Christian Watson; Damon Gillett of Effingham, IL and his son Phoenix Gillett; Corey Gillett of Vandalia, IL and his children Erica, Makenzie, Haley, and Ryker Gillett; cousins Nona Beth Silvia Berkey and Ronny Gifford; and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother Sorrows;&nbsp;and daughter Rhonda Payne.

A graveside service will be held at the Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, OK, at a later date.
