Rich’s life began on November 9, 1942, in Goessel.&nbsp; He was the son of Arthur and Alice (Hannaman) Schlehuber.&nbsp; 

Rich was a 1960 graduate of Marion High School.&nbsp; He served his country in the United States Navy as a Seabee.&nbsp; Rich’s Navy unit built runways in Guam and saw action in Vietnam.&nbsp; He was proud of his country and his service to his country.&nbsp; Rich was a life member of the VFW in Marion and enjoyed going to the American Legion in Hillsboro.&nbsp; 

Rich’s faith was very important to him.&nbsp; He was a long-time parishioner of Holy Family Parish in Marion.&nbsp; Rich was nearly always the first person at church on Sunday morning, prayed the rosary faithfully and was a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus.&nbsp; 

Rich’s loving family includes his loving companion of 31 years Betty Medley of Hillsboro; children James (Heather) Schlehuber of Marion, Sherry Schlehuber of AL, Jeremy Schlehuber of Hillsboro, Denise (Chris) Kostelac of Shawnee, KS, Rick (Tricia) Medley of Valley Center and Terry Medley of Topeka;&nbsp; grandchildren Elise, Gabriella, Magdalen, Isaac, Samuel and Katharine Schlehuber, Matthew and Josh Schlehuber, Jacob Schlehuber, Avery, Colby, Tasha Kostelac, Russell, Carol, and AJ Medley, Brooke Medley and Jake Medley; and his siblings Larry ( Joyce) Schlehuber of MO. and Anita Hancock of Marion.&nbsp; 

Rich passed away at his home on Thursday, July 22.&nbsp; 

He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Abigail, brother Billy Schlehuber and sister Carole Post.&nbsp; 

His family will gather with friends on Friday, July 30 from 6-8 p.m. at Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Marion where his rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m.&nbsp; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 31 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, 415 N. Cedar, Marion.&nbsp; He will be laid to rest with military honors in Marion Cemetery.&nbsp; 

Memorial contributions in Rich’s name may be directed to Marion VFW, Hillsboro American Legion or the Father Kapaun Legacy Fund in care of the funeral home.&nbsp;

David graduated from Concordia High School in 1975.&nbsp; He was a router for ABB/Alstom Pre Heater Manufacturing until he retired in 2016.&nbsp; He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his daughters Caitlin Fraser (Brian), Concordia and Kayla Rowland, Salina; mother Eva Allen, Concordia; brothers Ron (Kim), Michael “Bub” (Ann) &amp; Kenny (Jennie), all of Concordia; sister Cindy Dunlap, Concordia; grandchildren Grace and Ava Rowland and Kaden Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Bobby.

The family selected cremation and will have private family services.&nbsp;

Roy L. Anderson, age 88, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Mount Joseph Senior Village, Concordia.&nbsp;He was born on July 27, 1932 in Huscher, Kansas to Floyd &amp; Mary (Burch) Anderson, Sr. 

Roy was a 1950 graduate of Concordia High School.&nbsp; After high school, Roy was drafted into the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict.&nbsp; He was honorably discharged.

Roy enjoyed, hunting, fishing, bowling, needle work and most of all, spending time with his family.

On January 26, 1955, Roy and Kay Menard were united in marriage at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia.&nbsp; She survives of the home.

Roy was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #1142, and life member of V.F.W. Post #588, all of Concordia.

Roy is survived by his wife Kay, Concordia; two sons, Steven (Susan) Anderson, Hebron, NE; Anthony R. Anderson (Marsha), Sr, Concordia;&nbsp; daughter Lesa Bugbee (LaVern), Fairbury, NE; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brother Elton Anderson; and sister Virginia Moss, Wichita, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Anthony R. Anderson, Jr., four brothers, Floyd, James, Charles, Robert, four sisters, Florence, Frances, Dorothy, and Barbara Jean.

Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. &nbsp;&nbsp;A parish rosary with the Knights of Columbus will be led by Fr. David Metz at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.&nbsp; Family will greet friends in the Parish Hall after the rosary.

He will be greatly missed for his unique sense of humor and immense care for others. John lived a fulfilling life as a loving father, stepfather, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a caring brother to three siblings, an amazing husband to his late wife Linda, and a friend to many. He enjoyed traveling to Colorado whenever he had the chance, and he loved having Sunday dinner with his family.

John is survived by his brother William and Kristin Litchman of Albuquerque, NM, sister Martha Linda of San Francisco, CA, son David and Kristina Litchman, stepchildren Kelly and Terry Jones, Stacey Miller, Loren and Dena Miller, Lance and Penelope Miller all of Salina, six grandchildren, Elliott Litchman, Coalton and Jessica Miller, Riley Miller, Cari Miller, Erica Miller, all of Salina, Chellcy Miller of Bonner Springs, and great-granddaughter Dani Miller.

Craig Heald, 58, was born into eternal life on July 24, 2021.&nbsp; Craig was raised on the family farm in Minneapolis, Kansas where he graduated from Minneapolis High School with the class of 1981.

He attended college at Fort Hays, and later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming during his 22-year career.&nbsp; He served with distinction in several positions and earned numerous awards before retiring as the superintendent of the 400th Missile Squadron.

Craig met and married his wife Heidi in 1990 while they were stationed there. After he retired from the military, he continued to serve by becoming a teacher.&nbsp; He was a natural teacher and a wonderful mentor to so many of his students.&nbsp;

He was a member St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he and Heidi renewed their wedding vows, and he was confirmed in the Catholic faith in 2018. He was a wonderful, caring, devoted, and loving husband to Heidi and a genuinely kind person to those he met or knew.

Craig recently moved to Houston, Texas to be near his son and his family. He continued to teach in Houston bringing his humor and compassion to students in class. He was both a teacher and a stable role model to all of his students.

He is survived by his wife Heidi; son Chris (Sara) and grandchildren, Ellie Mae and Henry of Houston, TX; parents Gerald Heald of Winters, CA and Llewellen (Lou) (Ron) Weis; sister Rondee (Clyde) Thrush of Minneapolis, KS and brother Ron (Lisa) Weis of Bennington, KS; nephews Zach (Casey) Weis of Salina, KS and Jesse Weis of Phoenix, AZ; and nieces Katie Thrush and Karlee Thrush of Minneapolis, KS.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Morris and Margaret Heald and Harold and Catherine Peterson.

William Joseph "Billy Joe" Moon, 51, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly at 1:00 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021 suddenly at at his home, rural McPherson, Kansas. Billy Joe was born in McPherson, Kansas on June 19, 1970, a son of William Homer and Jennifer Jo (Blackburn) Moon. Billy Joe attended McPherson grade schools, Sulphur Junior High and graduated from Sulphur High School, Sulphur, Oklahoma in 1989. He then attended Ardmore Oklahoma Vo-Tech. Through the years Billy Joe worked for John's Manville, CertainTeed Mfg., Fed Ex, Old Dominion Trucking Company and KDOT all of McPherson, Kansas and the city of Lindsborg. Billy Joe enjoyed being a handyman and could fix anything. He loved blues and country music. Billy Joe didn't know a stranger. He loved camping, fishing, cooking on his black stone grill and was a hard worker. He loved helping his friends and even strangers. His dog Snickers was his little buddy. Most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family. William Joseph Moon was united in marriage to Sonya Allen on June 26, 1999 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This couple established their first home together in McPherson. This union was blessed with two children, Savannah and Avery. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Sonya Moon, of McPherson, Kansas; his children Savannah Moon, of McPherson, Kansas and Avery Moon, of Georgetown, Texas; mother Jennifer Moon, of Sulphur, Oklahoma; sister Shawna O'Dell, of Dallas, Texas; other relatives, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Marjorie Louise "Marge" Stillings, 94, of Baldwin City, Kansas, passed away at 5:58 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2021 while in the company of family members at her daughter's home in Baldwin City, Kansas. Marjorie was born on her parents' homestead rural McPherson, Kansas on February 7, 1927, a daughter of Mae Ruth (Siebert) and John Gottleb Schafer. Marjorie attended the Iola Grade School, Iola, Kansas and the McPherson Grade Schools and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson, Kansas. Following graduation Marjorie worked for Farmers Alliance Insurance Agency in the filing department and McPherson Hospital as a nurse's aide. She was a member of First United Methodist Church McPherson, Kansas where she was baptized and confirmed. Marjorie Lousie Schafer was united in marriage to Joe Stillings on February 11, 1949 at the Naval Station Chapel, Key West, Florida. The young couple established their first home together in Key West, Florida. After Joe's honorable discharge from the navy, they moved to McPherson, Kansas. This union was blessed with the birth of seven children, four sons and three daughters, Floyd, Sharon, Donald, Kenneth, Cheryl, Mary, and Gary. Through the years Marjorie was a homemaker and she took great pride in providing for her family in this manner. After the children were on their own she went back to work and worked for Bader Cleaners, worked in the Nazarene Church Nursery, and did some private childcare. Marjorie was a beloved mother, the most patient, kind, loving mother ever. She always cared for others first and herself last. Wherever Mom was, was home to her children who will miss her loving eyes, smiles, and hugs full of love. Marjorie enjoyed children, animals, cooking, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Floyd Stillings, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sharon Peterson and husband Gary, of Baldwin City, Kansas, Donald Stillings and wife Cathy, of Hutchinson, Kansas, Kenneth Stillings, of Austin, Texas, Cheryl Rickerson, of Ottawa, Kansas, Mary Bailey, of Neosho Falls, Kansas, and Gary Stillings, of Rantoul, Kansas; an adopted daughter, Ruth White, of Wichita, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Joshua Peterson, Jason Peterson (Dawn), Jennifer Stillings, Kaleb Stillings, Hayley Walton (Danny), Rheannah Gonzalez (Andrew), Kindra Frye, and Michelle Vorhees (Jerry); 17 beloved great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Born into a loving family in the rural Windom, KS area, John James Borgstrom came into this world on Saturday, March 3, 1951. His parents were school teachers. J. Valerian and Maebert (Nelson) Borgstrom welcomed him as their first child, followed by his sister LuAnn, brother Mark, and baby sister Debbie. Ironically, John hated school, and yet he made many friends who stayed in contact throughout the years. He was known for his playful nature and enjoyed nothing more than time spent visiting, telling stories, and laughing with friends and family. From childhood John enjoyed spending time outdoors, which led to his love of farming and camping. After graduation from Little River High School in 1969, he continued to help farm the homestead with his dad, while also attending Salina Area Vo-Tech for a certification in electronics. Through mutual friends, he was set up on a blind date with the woman who would become the love of his life, Susie. They were married on August 11, 1978, in Hill City, Kansas, her hometown. Soon after, their oldest daughter Anna was born, followed by son Ash, daughter Holly, and baby Gabe. John loved children, and is fondly remembered for his role as Santa each Christmas for the kids, cousins, nieces and nephews, and eventually for his grandchild, Kora Jo. As a lifelong resident of rural Windom, and an active and faithful member of the Andover Lutheran Church, John was well-loved. He regularly served on church committees, assisted with worship, and led the choir. Co-workers became friends as he worked at MBM in McPherson as a copier repair technician, sold insurance or water softeners, delivered oxygen through Kanox/Airgas in Hutchinson, or drove for BNSF Railroad Railcrew Xpress in Newton. He made many connections through his Ark Valley Good Sam camping club chapter, and also through his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and the ReUse It Center in McPherson. John’s joy was his family. As his kids left home and began families of their own, John and Susie and the kids all remained close, gathering together and having a meal as often as possible. Even after John became paralyzed in December of 2020, his family stayed close through the months of hospitalization and visited nearly every day. John James Borgstrom left this world peacefully on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Hillsboro Community Hospital, beloved by the staff whom he came to think of as family. The legacy of his love survives: wife Susie; children Anna and Tony Borders, Ash and Kristen Borgstrom, Holly Borgstrom and fiancé Lucas Roberts, Gabe Borgstrom; grandchildren Kora Jo Borders and Reagan and Wesley Bessette, great-grandchildren Octavia Jo Bessette; siblings LuAnn and Doug Kogler, Mark Borgstrom and Julie Reichman, and Debbie Adams. She was a homemaker and loved interior design. Marsha had a lifelong passion for charity work and was very active in Chi Omega Christmas in Dallas. She attended Bent Tree Bible Church and was a volunteer teacher in the Bible Study Fellowship. Marsha was extremely outgoing, and she was an adventurous scuba diver and downhill skier. She is survived by her husband Paul McManus of Plano, Texas; son Scott McManus and wife, Liyibeth, of Carrollton, Texas; daughter Shannon Kearns and husband, John, of Plano, Texas; grandchildren Yelardin McManus, Reese Kearns, and Wesley Kearns; sister Gail Butler and husband Fred, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous other loving family and friends. Earl James Wells, 85 years died July 25, 2021 at&nbsp; in , KS.&nbsp; He was born on August 30, 1935 in Longford, Kansas, the son of Doyle and Velma (Livengood) Wells.&nbsp; Earl was raised in the Longford community.&nbsp; 

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years.&nbsp; 

Earl married Nancy Rodgers on October 2, 1971.&nbsp; After leaving the Air Force, they made their home in rural Clay County and Earl worked as a truck driver for several years, most of his time spent with Newell Truckline.&nbsp;Nancy preceded him in death on March 6, 1992.  

&nbsp;Earl was a member of the Longford Lions Club, V.F.W. and American Legion.&nbsp; 

He was also preceded in death by his parents and a son, George Wells.

Eunice Ann Bretz Hunter, 90, long time resident of Council Grove, KS passed into eternity July 26, 2021 at Diversicare in Council Grove, KS with her daughters Carla, Kathy, and Christy by her side.

She was born June 29, 1931 in Emporia, KS, daughter of Vernon Dean and Ruth Ann (Berger) Bretz. Eunice graduated from Council Grove High School and attended business college. She married Calvin Carl Hunter on September 10, 1949.

She had many occupations in Council Grove including secretarial work at Hunter Chevrolet, lifeguard and swim teacher of Red Cross swim lessons in Council Grove. She was a wonderful seamstress and made many dance recital costumes for Jill Fitzgerald Dance Studio. She was best known for working and then owning Bretz Shoe Store at 206 W. Main Council Grove, KS. She was an avid promotor of small town businesses.

She was a member of the Council Grove Chamber of Commerce, Council Grove Christian Church, and Council Grove Country Club for many years. She was Ladies City Golf Champion in 1965. She belonged to and enjoyed several bridge clubs. She devoted many hours making quilts for her daughters and grandchildren.

Eunie was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Family was of utmost importance to her and she treasured her three daughters. She loved watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren play ball and dance. This included 67 consecutive years of going to dance recitals. Eunie loved all sports, playing pitch, reading, and crossword puzzles. She will be sadly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters Darlene and Donna, and brother Dean.

Eunie is survived by her daughters: Carla Pruitt and husband Don, of Victoria, KS, Kathy Litke and husband Darrell and Christine Ziegenhirt and husband Donnie, all of Council Grove; nine grandchildren: Alycia Straight (Dane), Amanda Pruitt, Dara Fillmore (Jason), Dana Reddick (Bobby), Deanna Buttrey (Thomas), Dawn Palmquist (Lucas), Derek Ziegenhirt, Jacob Ziegenhirt, and Casey Cowdin (Troy); 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Shirley Hickman; and many nieces and nephews.

Anna was a 1966 graduate of Aurora High School, Aurora, Kansas.&nbsp; She later received her registered nursing degree from Cloud County Community College.&nbsp;

Anna worked for more than 20 years at Lake Point Nursing Home in Wichita, Kansas until her retirement.&nbsp;

Anna attended Central Community Church in Wichita.&nbsp;

She enjoyed puzzles, puzzle books and most of all spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.&nbsp;

Anna is survived by her daughter Kristine Hudeib, her two sons James and Jonathan Kiel, all of Wichita, KS; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild,&nbsp; two sisters, Mary Jones, Salina, KS; Bernadetta McCollum (Leland), Clay Center, KS; and brothe, David Vopat, Mankato, KS.&nbsp;

Sandra Sue (Sandy) Chamberlin Stevens, age 78, Chapman, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was born in Clay Center, Kansas, on December 20, 1942, the daughter of L.V. (Dick) and Rachel Helen Gibbs Chamberlin. She grew up in rural Dickinson County attending a country school (Wesley) and graduating from DCCHS. Sandra married Roy David (Dave) Stevens on November 1, 1959 at the Sutphen Mill Christian Church, rural Chapman, Kansas. Most of their married life was spent in the home Dave built in rural Dickinson County on Sandra’s parents’ farm. They had four children, Timothy, Debra, Scott, and Amy. Sandra was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, dearly loved by her family. Survivors include her son Timothy Stevens (Karen) of Woodbine, Maryland, daughter Debra Stevens of Junction City, Kansas, son Scott Stevens (Christy) of Abilene, Kansas, daughter Amy Wahl of Windsor, Colorado, and granddaughters Kelsey Stevens, Halee Wahl, and Peyton Wahl as well as seven, step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. Sandra is also survived by her brothers Bill Chamberlin and wife Patsy and Craig Chamberlin and wife Vicky both of rural Chapman, Kansas as well as nieces and nephews. Her husband and parents preceded her in death. When her kids were little, Sandra stayed home, but she volunteered with Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts as well as with Sunday school and bible school at the Chapman United Methodist Church. Later, she worked in the deli at West’s IGA, receptionist at VacuBlast, teacher aide at Rural Center Elementary and Chapman Elementary, site manager at the Chapman Senior Center, salesclerk at Steinhauser’s Gifts and Made in Kansas, and hostess/cashier at Barb’s Deli. She volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dickinson County and with the foster grandparent program at Kennedy Elementary School in Abilene where she was fondly known as “Grandma Sandy.” She was a “kid magnet.” Wherever she was, kids were always drawn to her. Sandra was a member of the Sutphen Mill Christian Church, Lakeside EEU, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Beta sorority, the Chapman Area Preservation Society (CAPS), and she served on the Chapman Public Library Board. She volunteered at the Abilene Public Library and Chapman Valley Manor. Her hobbies included card making, adult coloring, embroidery work, playing cards, and reading. She especially loved spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all. Per her wishes, cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Chapman United Methodist Church with Pastor Connie Wooldridge officiating. Carlos Olivarez, 56, died Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Trinity Manor in Dodge City, Kan. He was born on April 22, 1965 in Alice, Texas, to David, Sr. and Belinda (Ortiz) Olivarez.

Carlos liked to stay busy doing what he loved to do. Fishing was his favorite, but he also enjoyed woodworking and coin collecting, and loved to go to the casinos. He was known for being strong minded and not giving up. When he set his mind to do something, he would accomplish it.

Carlos is survived by his daughters Crystal Olivarez, Vickie Olivarez, Stephanie Olivarez, and Valeria Barrientez; brothers Steven Olivarez, of Lewis, Danny Vela, of Kansas City, Jeffrey Olivarez, of Wichita, and Roy Olivarez, of Garden City; siste, Vanessa Olivarez, of Salina; 13 grandchildren; and grandfather Adan Olivarez, of Alice, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother David Olivarez.

Visitation will be Monday, July 26, from 4-8 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, Kan., with a vigil service at 6:30.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, at Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral, Salina. Burial is planned at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.

Fishing was his favorite, but he also enjoyed woodworking and coin collecting, and loved to go to the casinos. He was known for being strong minded and not giving up. He was a Navy veteran, retired from fabrication at Power Vac Inc. after 34 years. He loved hunting, fishing and was an avid book reader. He loved to travel to places to learn about history, especially about Kansas. He loved tinkering in his garage and figuring out how to build things. He enjoyed helping others when they needed help. He had a very big love for his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include wife Marcia Fuller; three daughters, Valeri Andrews of San Antonio, Crystal Fuller and Paula Hanchett both of Salina; two grandchildren, Angelina Hanchett and Slade Hanchett, both of Salina; a sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond W. Fuller and Mary Ruth (Cobb) Fuller.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, graveside at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Edna Marian King, resident of Mitchell County Resident Care Center in Beloit, KS passed away peacefully on July 20, 2021, at age 87.&nbsp; She was the youngest of ten children born to Phillip and Janie (Griffin) Zillinger on March 13, 1934, in Logan, KS.&nbsp; Affectionately known as Marian, she attended schools in Phillips County.&nbsp; Marian was raised on a farm and her favorite childhood memory was on the 4th&nbsp;of July when they had firecrackers and homemade ice cream.&nbsp; She married Melvin King on Sept 22, 1950, in Stockton, KS and was married 31 years.&nbsp; She was a member of the Church of Christ. To this union, six children were born.&nbsp; She worked outside the home when the children got older, as a bookkeeper until she retired. While living in Hays, KS she enjoyed working with the Senior Companion program to assist seniors that were alone and still living in their homes. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and crafting and loved to crochet and embroider.&nbsp; She had travels to 15 states and enjoyed her family and the many friendships that she made along the way. Things that were important in the family were working hard, doing well in school and playing fair.&nbsp; She loved doing things with and for her family.

She is survived by five children:&nbsp; Patrick King, Hays, KS; Diana Stoeber (John), Jewell, KS; Renee Thompson (Rick), Glade, KS; Terali Richardson (Jim), Salina, KS; David King (Lily), Umatilla, FL.&nbsp; She is survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.&nbsp; Also survived by one brother Ray Zillinger (Donna) and sister-in-law Betty Zillinger and a host of nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her son: Melvin Lee King, his wife Donna King (Bartlett) and 2 grandchildren: John King and James King, her parents, sisters: Bertha Kaiser Whitney, Ruth Hulett, Ellen McKinsey, Esther Lynn, Genevieve Townley; brothers:&nbsp; Andy Zillinger and Fred Zillinger.

Bob was born on July 15, 1937, in Goodland, KS to Robert Anderson and Caroline Alice (Ming) Bradshaw.&nbsp; He attended and graduated school in Goodland .&nbsp; On June 2nd, 1957 he married Velta Marie Farr in Raton New Mexico.

Bob was a lifelong farmer and rancher.&nbsp; He especially had a love for cattle, and was a member of the American Cattle Association.&nbsp; He also loved going to Cripple Creek, Black Hawk and the National Western Stock Show.

Surviving family includes his wife Velta of the home in Goodland, his children Cynthia (Mike) Hoelting of Kansas City, KS, Robin (Mike) Ginther of Overland Park, KS, Rod Bradshaw of Salina, KS and Debbie (Ronnie) Reed of Goodland, KS.&nbsp; He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren; Heather (Chris) Handlin, Michael Hoelting, Jr., Clayton Ginther, Ryan (Megan) Bradshaw, Tyler (Katelyn) Bradshaw, Marysa (Justin) McCartney and Austin Bradshaw, as well as 8 great grandchildren.

Dolores was born in Garden City, Kansas on June 5, 1932, a daughter of Esther M. (Simon) and Henry George Erker. She attended Liberty Elementary School, Riverdale, Kansas, and graduated from Wellington High School, Wellington, Kansas in 1950. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, McPherson, Kansas where she was a member of the Altar Society and was involved with weekly adoration. Prior to marriage, Dolores worked at Safeway in Wichita in the meat department and was later a homemaker and she took great pride in providing for her family in this manner. Dolores Marie Erker was united in marriage to Raymond Allen Willems on April 7, 1956 at Wichita, Kansas. They established their first home together in Wichita, Kansas. This union was blessed with the birth of six children: four daughters and two sons, Roxane, Rhonda, Renee, Rex, Raissa, and Randall. Dolores enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, quilting, embroidery work, and putting puzzles together. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels, made many lap quilts for Angel Arms, and tea towels for the hospital gift shop. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and has made baby quilts for all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 65 years, Raymond Willems of McPherson, Kansas; her children Roxane Gill and husband Jeff, of Salina, Kansas, Rhonda King, of Sevierville, Tennessee, Renee Foster and husband Ronald, of Hutchinson, Kansas, Rex Willems and wife Lorenda, of Wildomar, California, Raissa Andersen, of McPherson, Kansas, and Randall Willems and wife Cheryl, of McPherson, Kansas; 14 grandchildren, Tyler Gill, Trevor Gill, Alan King, Darryl King (Catherine), Michelle King, Robyn Gore (Scott), Ryan Foster, Rochelle Foster, Carissa Chaltas (Cole), Cody Willems, Kelsey Willems, Travis Andersen (Noelle), Nichole Andersen, and Karri Andersen; seven great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Bryan, James Bryan, Beatrice King, Zoey Virus, Jaxon Foster, Rosemary Andersen, and Eleanora Andersen. Final resting place will be at the McPherson Cemetery McPherson, Kansas. Dolores was born in Garden City, Kansas on June 5, 1932, a daughter of Esther M. (Simon) and Henry George Erker. She attended Liberty Elementary School, Riverdale, Kansas, and graduated from Wellington High School, Wellington, Kansas in 1950. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, McPherson, Kansas where she was a member of the Altar Society and was involved with weekly adoration. Prior to marriage, Dolores worked at Safeway in Wichita in the meat department and was later a homemaker and she took great pride in providing for her family in this manner. Dolores Marie Erker was united in marriage to Raymond Allen Willems on April 7, 1956 at Wichita, Kansas. They established their first home together in Wichita, Kansas. This union was blessed with the birth of six children: four daughters and two sons, Roxane, Rhonda, Renee, Rex, Raissa, and Randall. Dolores enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, quilting, embroidery work, and putting puzzles together. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels, made many lap quilts for Angel Arms, and tea towels for the hospital gift shop. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and has made baby quilts for all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 65 years, Raymond Willems of McPherson, Kansas; her children Roxane Gill and husband Jeff, of Salina, Kansas, Rhonda King, of Sevierville, Tennessee, Renee Foster and husband Ronald, of Hutchinson, Kansas, Rex Willems and wife Lorenda, of Wildomar, California, Raissa Andersen, of McPherson, Kansas, and Randall Willems and wife Cheryl, of McPherson, Kansas; 14 grandchildren, Tyler Gill, Trevor Gill, Alan King, Darryl King (Catherine), Michelle King, Robyn Gore (Scott), Ryan Foster, Rochelle Foster, Carissa Chaltas (Cole), Cody Willems, Kelsey Willems, Travis Andersen (Noelle), Nichole Andersen, and Karri Andersen; seven great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Bryan, James Bryan, Beatrice King, Zoey Virus, Jaxon Foster, Rosemary Andersen, and Eleanora Andersen. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sister, Donald, Arthur and Clifford Erker, and Dorothy Purdy.
