Theddis “Gaylon” Ball, 81, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, in Ellsworth County, KS. He was born November 1, 1940, in Linden, Cass County, TX to Willaim Theddis Ball and Mildred (Foreman) Ball.
Gaylon served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War where he was trained as an electrician. After many years of overseas service, Gaylon left the Navy and entered civilian life where he held many different jobs, primarily in electrical maintenance and most recently for Hi-Plains Sand Inc. in Kanopolis. He was a member of the local American Legion and VFW posts.
Cremation will take place and Gaylon will have a burial at sea conducted by the U.S. Navy, at a later date.
