Kayleen Rochelle Plowman, 84, of Salina, Kan., passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. She was born on April 6, 1937, in Narka, Kan., to Leonard and Alyce (Hubka) Shara.

Kayleen worked in banking in Salina for over 25 years, retiring from Bennington State Bank. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family and grandkids.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Mike Plowman; daughters, Renee Markle (James) and Rhonda Reed-Brann (Lynn); 3 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Cal Shara (Carol); and niece, Debie Engel.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Joshua Lowe; and first husband, Garry Reed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, 2508 Belmont Blvd, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Education and Support Group of Salina, in care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
