Dalton Lynn Frost, 30, passed away on Tuesday, March 21st, 2023, at his home in Gorham, KS.&nbsp;

Dalton and his identical twin brother, Dakota, were born on September 16th, 1992,&nbsp;in Hays, KS to Gerald and Vickie Frost. His childhood and school years were spent spread between Salina, Russell and Natoma, KS.&nbsp;His adult life was spent mainly in Colorado and Russell working in the fencing business and in several different areas&nbsp;in the oilfield. He was one of the hardest workers anyone ever knew.

Dalton and his twin were daredevils from the start and lived life at full speed. He loved being in the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, camping, going to the lake, or just driving on country roads for hours.&nbsp;There wasn’t a mechanical issue that he couldn’t solve or a tool he couldn’t reinvent to get the job done. He loved cracking open a cold one and shooting the breeze with his friends and family. His daughter, Kenlee, was his world and he did anything and everything he could for her. Dalton never knew a stranger because anyone he met automatically became his friend. His big smile, loving hugs and great sense of humor would make&nbsp;anyone’s day better. He would do anything for anyone&nbsp;and was selfless to a fault. His family, daughter and close friends meant everything to him&nbsp;and&nbsp;are the reason he stayed on Earth as long as he did.&nbsp;

He was&nbsp;preceded&nbsp;in death by his twin brother, Dakota; his paternal and maternal grandparents; three uncles; two aunts; and a niece.

He is survived by his mother, Vickie Frost (Leonard Boese) of Susank, KS; his father, Gerald Frost of Russell, KS; his daughter, Kenlee Peterson, and his son, Jaxon Casper, both of Russell, KS; his sister, Amanda Fabian Valadez (Enoe) of Russell, KS; his sister, Amber Frost of Lawrence, KS; his brothers Shane Michaelis and Ethan Frost (Justus), both of Russell, KS; his many beloved nieces and nephews: Braden, Gianna, Arya, Isabella, Briley, Haven, Zane, Nevaeh, Alieah, Matteo,&nbsp;Little Ethan, Ryker, Valencia, and Xavier; and by many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.&nbsp;

There will be a gathering at Pohlman&nbsp;Varner Peeler Mortuary on&nbsp;Friday, April 14, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to sign the guest book, visit with the family, pay respects, and&nbsp;view memory&nbsp;boards. At a later, warmer date, a larger celebration of life event will take place outdoors. When the date, time, and location of this event are decided, they will be announced by both the mortuary and family.&nbsp;Cremation has been chosen and there will be no internment at this time.&nbsp;

LINCOLN Nola Darlene Cromwell, 94, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Lincoln Park Manor, Lincoln, KS. She was born February 22, 1929, in Lincoln County, KS to Albert and Dorothy (Yost) Benson.

Nola was a lifetime resident of Lincoln County. She grew up near Denmark where she attended grade school. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1947. 

Nola married Daniel Maurice Cromwell in Kansas City, KS on March 6, 1949. 

She was a true farmwife, helping Daniel with all the farm operations and even running the farm with son, Benny when Daniel was gone hauling cattle. Later, she was a bus driver for 32 years for the Lincoln schools. Nola and Daniel enjoyed traveling and later she traveled to many destinations with friends and family. Nola had an affection for Native American culture and always admired their artwork. She was a member of the Lincoln Presbyterian Church until its closure when she joined the Lincoln United Methodist Church.

Nola is survived by her daughters Debra Meier (Nolan) of Lantana, TX and Sandra King of Lincoln; son Daniel Benson “Benny” Cromwell (Jeannine) of Lincoln; daughters Melodee Larsen (Rodney) of Lincoln, Carole Liggett (Galen) of Lincoln, and Dina Hackney (Ed) of Salina, KS; brother Ronald Benson (Jean) of Dumas, TX; sister Barbara Davis of Spokane, WA; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; former foreign exchange student Elaine (Brito) Pimentel of Brazil; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Daniel; granddaughter Tara King; and brother Royce Benson.

Visitation: 1-7 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln. Family will greet friends 5-7 p.m.

Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Hall Chapel with burial following at the Lincoln Cemetery.

Carol Jean Miller, 84, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, March 28th, 2023.

Carol was raised in Hoisington, Kansas on April 10, 1938, a daughter of the late Tina Luvenia (Smith) and John Paul Miller.

Survivors include her two daughters, Rayshonette Miller of Salina, Kansas, Tina Miller of Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren, Tamitrua Wilkins, Jere Thomas, Darius Thomas, Braxton Flemming, Brenan Latimer, Corey Latimer; 14 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Carol is also survived by her sister, Dorla "Deane" Hudson of Salina, Kansas.

James Victory 

Vern Aaron Thomas was born at home in Salina, Kansas on June 27, 
1926.&nbsp; He was the son and only child of Guy and Bessie Johnston Thomas.&nbsp;
 Vern was a ray of light and optimism to everyone he met and genuinely 
loved life while always seeing it as a glass half full.&nbsp; He attended 
Phillips Grade School and Roosevelt Junior High before graduating from 
Salina High in 1944.&nbsp; 

While attending Kansas State University, he ran 
track and was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.&nbsp; He 
graduated with a BS degree in 1949.&nbsp; After graduation he served in the 
U.S. Army from 1950 until 1952 stationed primarily at Fort Carson, 
Colorado, and was part of one of the last groups to be drafted after 
World War II.&nbsp; Following his time in the Army, he was an engineering 
technician with the Kansas Department of Transportation working in 
Salina, Beloit, and Lincoln before transferring to Topeka in 1960. He 
enjoyed the KDOT retirees club after his work tenure concluded.

Although Vern called Topeka home, he spent decades helping care for 
and visit his parents and relatives in Salina.&nbsp; He loved traveling with 
family and had many driving trips to both coasts and in Canada.&nbsp; After 
retiring in 1987 he began earnest travel and work in his family’s 
genealogy.&nbsp; This took him on repeated trips to the upper Midwest, 
Pennsylvania and Utah. During these travels, often accompanied by his 
aunt, Vesta Crowther, they visited many friends and family.&nbsp; It also 
allowed him to indulge in his passion for photography which lead to 
numerous awards for his photographs.&nbsp;

Much of his interest in genealogy began during his time as a 
volunteer librarian at the Topeka Genealogical Society.&nbsp; Vern was 
extremely generous with his time, energy and knowledge of finding family
 histories and searching in archives.&nbsp; He shared his abilities not only 
with numerous people through the years but with various historical 
societies in Kansas.&nbsp; Vern’s induction to the Sons of the American 
Revolution was a milestone for him.

Vern was also active for many decades in the Topeka bowling 
community.&nbsp; He warmly talked about all of the men and women he had as 
teammates, fellow friends in the various leagues he played, and even in 
his nineties was truly energized and excited in a young cousin, who 
looked to Vern for bowling inspiration.&nbsp; He was a proud member of 
American Bowling Congress (now USBC).

Vern was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in 
Salina (since 1937) and Lowman United Methodist Church in Topeka. His 
faith and church community enlarged his life.

Vern was so loved by his family.&nbsp; He was an only child and never 
married so his aunts and uncles, cousins and cousins’ children brought 
him much joy.&nbsp; Vern was incredibly diligent with corresponding with 
dozens of relatives spread out across the United States.&nbsp; He always had 
an incredible story to tell, and new gadget to share, and had a memory 
better than most.&nbsp; His empathy was steadfast without being overt and 
Vern was always true and strong to himself.&nbsp; He will be forever missed 
while bringing smiles and laughter in our memories of him.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

The Family would like to thank the staff of Aldersgate Village in 
Topeka.&nbsp; The staff, especially Carl Noyes, have been a lifeline of 
information and support throughout his final years in residence there 
and made a tough move within the community during COVID manageable.&nbsp; 
Vern cherished his friends and staff there.

Vern left this world on March 27, 2023, at peace with the full life 
he lived.&nbsp; A Celebration of Life reception will be held at 10am on 
Saturday, April 15th, at Lowman United Methodist Church, 4101 SW 15th 
Street in Topeka, Kansas.

A private burial and service will be held by the family at Roselawn Memorial Park in Salina, Kansas.&nbsp;

GOESSEL Sheila Louise (Moyer) Ratzlaff, 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Ascension Via Christi-St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita, KS.

Sheila was born on January 12, 1958, in McPherson, KS, the daughter of Donald Eugene Moyer and Mary Louise (Ballweg) Moyer.&nbsp; She graduated from McPherson High School in May of 1976.

She was married to Joel Jay Ratzlaff on April 1, 1977, at the Church of the Nazarene in McPherson.&nbsp;

In 1995, Sheila was baptized while living in Spirit Lake, Idaho and attending Spirit Lake Baptist Church along with the rest of her family, husband Joel, and children, Bryce Ratzlaff and Nanci (Heath) Ratzlaff.

Sheila was a Certified Nurses Aid and also Certified Medical Aid.&nbsp; She worked in Hillsboro, Newton, and Goessel, KS.&nbsp; She also had successful house cleaning businesses in McPherson and Gypsum, KS.

She attended the Wheatland Baptist Church in McPherson.

Sheila loved gardening and inherited her green thumb from her father and enjoyed many hours of gardening.&nbsp;

From 2015 onward, she was a caregiving to her brother, father, and mother before their passing.&nbsp; She felt it was her calling in life to care for her family. Her family recalls the many amazing meals she had fixed over the years, including meatloaf and her Jell-O fluff.&nbsp; While her children were growing, the family moved around frequently.&nbsp; No matter where they were, Sheila always was able to make that place a home.

Her carpenter father built her a “staircase to heaven” on her 46th&nbsp;wedding anniversary, April 1, 2023.

Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Joel, of the home; a son, Bryce Ratzlaff (Katie) of Halstead, KS; a daughter, Nanci Heath (Brian) of Goessel, KS; five grandchildren, Derek, Kelli, Braxton, Breckyn, and Maddox; and many extended family and friends.&nbsp; She loved her kitty kids (two cats) of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mark Moyer.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Stockham Family Funeral Home.&nbsp; The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 7, at Stockham Family Funeral Home.&nbsp; Burial will follow at Empire Cemetery, Galva.

WOODBINE Eldon Clifton Oesterreich was born June 12, 1925, to Clifton and Minnie Heibert Oesterreich on the family farm northeast of Woodbine.&nbsp; He lived here while growing up and attending Woodbine schools.&nbsp;

He graduated from Woodbine High School in 1943 and was drafted for WWII.&nbsp; His choice was to enter the Navy to which he joined in September 1943.&nbsp; He underwent and completed basic training at Farragut, Idaho.&nbsp; He then underwent Marine training at Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, California with further training with the 3d Amphibian Force for beach landings.&nbsp; He was then transferred and assigned to the Kaneohe Bay Naval Air Hospital, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, as a Pharmacist Mate 3d class.&nbsp; He remained at this assignment until his enlistment was completed.

Eldon then returned to the farm near Woodbine in 1946.&nbsp; 

He married Charmaine Farres on April 16, 1947.&nbsp; They were blessed to have 75 years together.&nbsp; To their union were born two daughters, Martha and Mary.&nbsp; 

Eldon was engaged in farming until 1958 when he was appointed Postmaster, Woodbine, Kansas.&nbsp; He continued farming in his spare time with sideline activities of raising donkeys and buffalo.&nbsp; He retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1986.

Eldon was preceded in death by his wife Charmaine, his parents, and his brother Delbert.&nbsp; 

He is survived by his daughters Martha Dittman (Mike Rothchild), Mary (Greg) Horn; grandchildren Brandy Modin (Kayvon Jaberian), Steven Horn (Michelle Samborski), Crystal (Joshua) Jones, David Horn (Hailey Blaylock); great-grandchildren Quinn Richert, Ava Modin, Camilla Price, Harper and Hudson Jones.

Eldon liked to tell stories from his time in the Navy.&nbsp; He was always willing to help anyone needing help. Throughout the years, he remained in contact. with several persons he had served with in Hawaii. Eldon was delighted to be in contact with their families.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Visitation will be at the Woodbine United Methodist Church, Woodbine, KS on Friday, March 31 at 1:00 p.m. with services at 2:00 p.m.&nbsp; Interment will follow at the Woodbine Cemetery.&nbsp;

Memorial contributions in Eldon’s name may be made to the Dickinson County Historical Society or of the donors choice.&nbsp;

Evelyn Ilene (Funk) Hett, of Peabody, Kansas, passed away on March 28, 2023, at St. Luke Hospital. Evelyn was born on January 8, 1948, at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel, Kansas. She was the first child of Elmer and Lucilla (Unruh) Funk. 

Evelyn grew up on a farm southwest of Hillsboro, Kansas, the same farm her parents lived on all their lives. 

She attended school at Cresswell School District 15 in Marion Country through the sixth grade, when the school closed down. She then finished her schooling in Hillsboro where she graduated with the Hillsboro High School Class of 1966. 

Following graduation, Evelyn attended Salt City Business College in Hutchinson, Kansas for one year and went on to work at 1st&nbsp;National Bank of Hillsboro, now Emprise Bank.

Evelyn grew up in the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church near Goessel and was baptized upon her confession of faith there. 

Evelyn married Clifford J. Hett on February 22, 1969, at the Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, Kansas; and together they had two kids, Calvin Ray and Eileen Kay Hett. 

Clifford and Evelyn lived on a farm near Florence, Kansas for twenty-one years. In 1990, they moved from Florence to a different farm in the Peabody area. 

Evelyn loved the Aulne Church and served the community well. She worked in the Aulne Kitchen and was involved with Vacation Bible School. Evelyn also loved attending her bible study.

Evelyn enjoyed playing and working with her grandchildren and always loved having family over for birthdays, holiday meals or just going out to eat. She always made the best Slushy Punch and would make Long Johns for Calvin and Noah’s birthdays. Everyone knew that Evelyn’s corn on the cob was the best because she always used corn holders. Evelyn was a 4-H leader and found joy in helping her grandson raise calves and helping her granddaughter with 4-H projects. 

Evelyn could be found cheering on and supporting her grandchildren, Noah and Ruby, at numerous activities, including sporting events, school concerts and programs.&nbsp; Her grandchildren were her world. 

Evelyn could always be found behind the camera, taking family photos at every event. She would carefully place the photos in scrapbooks and caption each one. Evelyn kept the farm books for her family but would always help outside when needed. Evelyn was known as “The Bag Lady,” as she always kept everything neatly organized in various bags.

Evelyn is survived by her loving husband Clifford Hett of 54 years; daughter Eileen (Troy) Schmidt, Marion, KS; grandchildren Noah Schmidt, Marion, KS; Ruby Schmidt, Marion, KS; brothers Ken (Pat) Funk, Dodge City, KS; Clifford (Tammy) Funk, Wichita, KS; sister Vi (Brad) Penner, Newton, KS; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Lucilla Funk and son Calvin Hett.

Evelyn’s family will gather to greet friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Yazel Megli Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday April 5, 2023, at Aulne Bible Church.

FLORENCE Cecilia’s life began on September 11, 1934, in Wichita.&nbsp; She is the daughter of August Lalouette and Mary Clothier Lalouette.&nbsp;

Cecilia was raised on the Clothier ranch near Cedar Point by her grandparents George and Nellie Clothier.&nbsp; She graduated from Cedar Point High School in 1954 and was class valedictorian.&nbsp; 

On October 2, 1954, Cecilia was united in marriage to Robert B. “Bob” Gayle in St. Petersburg, VA. 

Cecilia enjoyed growing and sharing her flowers with friends, ceramic work, sewing, and all types of crafting. Cecilia enjoyed flying in small planes and taking in the Flint Hills scenery.&nbsp; &nbsp;She was a faithful parishioner of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Florence and was devoted to praying the rosary.&nbsp; Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.&nbsp; 

She is survived by her children Robert (Dana) Gayle, Jr. of Florence, Maria Walker of Moundridge, Joseph (Betty) Gayle of Hillsboro, Stephen (Jolene) Gayle of Florence, David Gayle of Charleston, SC, and Amber Gayle of Florence; grandchildren Charity James, Erica Balko, Samantha Gayle, Tom Godwin, Scott Eason, Daniel Walker, Nicholas Walker, Andrea Fiedler, Andrew Gayle, Elisa Forbes, Joshua Gayle, Amy Gayle, Jackie Gayle, Jessica Gayle, David Gayle, Jr., Sabra Bates and Devan Ephraums; great-grandchildren Gracelyn James, Henry Balko, Gabriel Balko, William Eason, Henry Eason, Vincent Walker, Alexander Walker, Gabriel Walker, Marissa Gauthier, Landon Gayle, Addie Gayle, Samson Forbes and Oskar Gayle; great-great-grandchildren Emberly Bates and Jamison Bates; two brothers, Larry and Leslie Lalouette, several nieces and nephews and her faithful puppy Calvin.&nbsp; 

Cecilia passed away at her home on Friday March 31, 2023.&nbsp; She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.&nbsp; Her family will gather with friends on Tuesday April 4, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Florence where a rosary will be prayed that evening at 7 p.m.&nbsp; Cecilia’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 5, 2023, at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Florence.&nbsp; She will be laid to rest in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Florence.&nbsp;

Cecilia enjoyed growing and sharing her flowers with friends, ceramic work, sewing, and all types of crafting. Brian Christopher Thoman, formerly of Concordia, passed away at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 16, 2022. He was born on October 26, 1983 in Concordia to Gerald and Marilyn (Sorell) Thoman.

Brian attended Concordia Jr./Sr. High School, graduating with the class of 2002. After graduating high school, Brian attended Cloud County Community College where he participated in yell leading and pep band. 

After college, Brian married Casey Hitchell and they relocated to Indiana, when they later divorced. 

Brian enjoyed meeting new people, attending concerts, and trying out new recipes. Brian spent the last two and a half years as a chef at Big Woods restaurant and distillery in Indianapolis.

Survivors include his daughter Morgan of Indianapolis; mother Marilyn Thoman of Concordia; brother Doug Thoman (Holly) of Belleville; sister Ashley Sheely (Andrew) of Schoenchen, KS; two nephews, two nieces; eight aunts, four uncles, and 22 cousins.

He is proceeded in death by his father Gerald Thoman, uncles Barry Thoman, Dale Revell, Jeff Thoman, and Gary Thoman; aunts Coleen Sorell, Kelly Thoman, and Rhonda Thoman; Grandparents, Jerome and Rita Sorell, and Wilfred (Tommy) and Margret (Jane) Thoman.

A memorial service for Brian is planned for 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Fr. Polly passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Valley View Senior Life in Junction City, Kansas. She was born May 5, 1939 in Eastland, Texas the daughter of John William and Melissa (Gilbert) Pool. She grew to adulthood near Palisade, Colorado, graduating from Palisade High School in 1957. She continued her education completing her training as a beautician. She worked in this profession for a period of time followed by an office job at the State Home and Training School for adults who were mentally challenged. Polly then followed her sister to Pasadena, California to attend Pasadena College followed by working for a doctor’s answering service. She then spent 36 years working for Los Angeles County as a clerk in the Department of County Assessors. After retiring she returned to work part time at the same department. She was married to Ronnie Smith for a period of time. They later divorced. Her favorite vacation spot was her yearly trip to Branson, Missouri where she enjoyed many of the shows, especially Pierce Arrow. When her health started to fail she moved to Abilene to be near her sister Mollie Zook. Other survivors include her niece Karen Corl and nephew Kenneth Zook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Dyer, and her brother-in-law Lyle Zook. Polly attended the Abilene Brethren In Christ Church as long as her health allowed. She became a resident of Valley View in 2013. She enjoyed the many activities that were provided. Barry Carl Bohn, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born on June 18, 1946, to Guy and Marie Bohn in Stockton, CA.

Barry proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

 After his service he returned home and on Dec. 7 married the love of his life Madonna Bohn. They were happily married for 54 years.

Barry worked hard all his life to provide for his family. He owned Barry’s Furniture for many years and then retired 19 years ago. During his retirement he enjoyed several hobbies and interests such as fishing and golf.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Marie Bohn, as well as many other loved ones who have gone before him. 

He is survived by his wife, Madonna Bohn; two daughters, Michelle Nelson and Stacy (Jami) Garnett; three grandchildren, Sophie Nelson, Drew Nelson, and Brodie Garnett; and siblings Sue Hood, Sherry Schweller, Stacy Reynolds; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ryan Mortuary, 137 North 8th Street in Salina, KS, on April 6th from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. to celebrate Barry’s life with family and friends who wish to pay their respects.

David Emery Middleton, 76, Salina, passed away at home Friday, March 31, 2023. He was born in Kansas City, MO, on September 22, 1946 to Wilbur Wilson “Red” Middleton and Virginia Lou Emery Middleton.

Dave and his four siblings grew up in Adrian, MO. In September 1968 Dave and Linda Layher united to 54 years of marriage.

In January 1969, Dave graduated from Pittsburg State University with a degree in history and geography. 

In February 1969 he enlisted in the Army and served two years.

Dave enjoyed family, music, good food, flying his piper 140 or Beechcraft Debonair and being a lifelong K.C. Chiefs fan. 

He retired from a career with Earle M. Jorgensen Steel and Aluminum as a salesman for the western half of Kansas and Nebraska.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents. 

He is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home; three children, Tait (Charlee) Middleton, Salina, Aimee (Ted) Ahrenholtz, Scottsdale, AZ, and Amber (Steve) Davenport, Salina. His siblings are brother, Boone (Karen) Middleton, Springfield, MO, and three sisters, Barbara (George) Benigno, Gardner, Rebecca (Kent) Roberts, Ft. Scott, and Melissa (Mercer) Faulkner, Ft. Scott.&nbsp;He has nine grandchildren; Cole (Calle) Leister, Jackson Leister, Joseph Ahrenholty, Gage Middleton, Heidi Middleton, Molly Ahrenholty, Elsa Leister and Grace Middleton.

Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2023, from 1 until 2 p.m. at the First Covenant Church, 2625 E. Magnolia, Salina. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Cremation was chosen with ashes to become dust in the wind at a family farm in Missouri at a later time.

Gerald Dean Bennett, 84, of Salina, Kan., passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. He was born on November 10, 1938, in Salina, to Carl and Dorothy (Boyd) Bennett.

Gerald was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was an avid golfer and worked as an automotive mechanic, owning many of his own shops over the years.

Survivors include his children Teresa McGarry and Timothy Bennett (Robin); first wife Mary Lou (Dancaster) Bennett; stepdaughter Leslie Childers; grandchildren Amanda and Christina McGarry, Andi Li, and Alexis, Ginger, and Miles Childers; great-grandchildren December, Cooper, Presley, Waylon, and one on the way; and sister-in-law Linda Bennett.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Sandra (Watson) Bennett-Barnes; stepdaughter Christy Barnes; granddaughter Selena Barnes; and brothers Harry Edward Bennett, Roger Wayne Bennett, and Robert Carl Bennett.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Military honors provided by the U.S. Navy.

Kelsin Dean Frisbie, infant son of MaKenzie (Johnson) and Curtis Frisbie, passed away Friday, March 31st, 2023.

Survivors include his parents MaKenzie and Curtis Frisbie; two brothers, Kenison Frisbie and Coen Frisbie; grandparents Chasity Parret, Jason Johnson, Jason Frisbie, Jamie Klocke; great-grandparents Cindy Hope, Rick and Angie Frisbie;

He is preceded in death by his sister Kennedy Frisbie; aunt Kayla Parret; great-great-grandparents- Betty and Joe Billus; and other Frisbie family members including George Frisbie.

Cremation has been chosen and memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7th, at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mr. Ronnie Arwood Rysdam, Jr., of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in Salina, Kansas. He was born December 20, 1967, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Ronald Arwood Rysdam, Sr., and Patricia Ruth (Jones). Ronnie worked for 1 Vision Aviation PLLC, and enjoyed golfing, motorcycle riding, and deer hunting. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Rysdam, Sr; one brother, Billy Joe Fuller; and one sister, Brenda Fuller. He is survived by two sons, Chris Clark and wife, Latisha of Tuckerman, and Kevin Clark and wife, Julia of Newport; two daughters, Mary Jones and husband, Austin of Tuckerman, and Leeann Gates and husband, Weston of Walnut Ridge; his mother, Patricia (Jones) Fuller of Texas; two brothers, Otis Rysdam and Michael Rysdam, both of St. Louis; three sisters, Danna Brown of Batesville, Tina Tipton of Texas, Rhonda Belt of Batesville, and Debbie Hafford of Missouri; twelve grandchildren, Isabelle Clark, Daxston Clark, Grayson Clark, Ava Clark, Brayden Clark, Brentley Wilkerson, Tanner Seals, Avery Gates, Oliver Jones, Olivia Jones, Lilly Clark, and Maverick Gates; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
