Michelle Azada Burns, 54, of Salina, died Sunday (October 15, 2023) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on February 3, 1969 in Wahiawa, Hawaii. Michelle graduated from Leilehua High School in Wahiawa and had worked in Japan as a teachers assistant.

She married Steven Kelly Burns on August 4, 1992 in Wahiawa, Hawaii. They lived in&nbsp;Joint Base Lewis-McChord prior to moving to Salina, Kansas in 2011.

While living in Salina, Michelle had been a substitute teacher and para professional.

Survivors include her husband Steven of the home; children Erika Wegele of Manhattan, Ks., Zachary Burns of Salina, Dakota Burns of Wichita, Ks., Cheyenne Burns and Brittany Burns both of Salina; four grandchildren Kaliope Wegele, Dakota Burns, Jr., Landan Burns, and Wynton Wegele.

Michelle is also survived by her mother Liza Littao; father and step-mother Robert and Vinda Littao; and brother Robert Littao, Jr. all of Whitemore Village, Hawaii; sisters Carmen Dudoit of San Diego, Calif., Ruby Littao of Maui, Hawii, Betty Littao of Las Vegas, Nev., Christine Jenks of Maui, Gail Littao, Sharlene Littao, Vanessa Merhtens, and Beverly Littao all of Whitmore Village.

Services are pending and will be announced by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Ks.
