Timothy Pete Falcon, 62, entered his eternal home on November 25, 2021. Tim was born January 6, 1959, to Titus Pete Falcon, Sr. and Nancy (Newell) Falcon in Concordia, KS. He was raised in Sylvan Grove, KS and graduated from Sylvan Unified High School in 1977. Tim attended North Central Kansas Area Vo-Tech after High School and graduated with a Certificate in Diesel Mechanics.

He moved to Minneapolis, KS and worked for his uncle Don at the Sawmill where he met some of his lifelong friends. Tim relocated to Salina, KS and worked for Exide Battery and the City of Salina for a few years. He returned to his hometown of Sylvan Grove and purchased the gas station known as Falcon Service for the last 19 years.&nbsp;

On April 28, 2012 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Peg Zachgo. In this union, Tim was blessed with six stepchildren and 16 grandchildren.&nbsp;

Tim enjoyed demolition derbies and the race car circuit with Earl, Ted, Jim and Dave. You could find him at the race track every weekend in his younger days. When he wasn’t there, he was either traveling with the crew or competing at demolition derbies. He also loved to go fishing and hunting with his brothers, especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Tim never met a stranger.

After his marriage to Peg, he enjoyed road trips, spending time with his new family, and spoiling his grandchildren.

He was best known in Sylvan Grove for opening the station early so he could sit at the counter and read the Salina Journal and do the crossword puzzle before he started his day. Lord help you if you came in early and wanted something done prior to him getting that alone time. His bark was always worse than his bite.&nbsp; He loved everyone and would help anyone even while grumbling under his breath.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Agnes Newell and Pastor and Mary Falcon; and his brother-in-law, Don Thrun.

Tim is survived by his wife Peg Falcon; stepchildren, Jesse (Candice) Zachgo, Sally Behrens (Brad), Christy Harry, Matthew (Bernice) Zachgo, Sara Zachgo, and David (Christena) Zachgo; grandchildren, Grayson, Landon, Cody, Hannah, MacKayla, Dacoda, Xander, Callie, Dayln, Rebecca, Logan, Jaden, Aleah, Cambrie, Bentley, and Hudson; parents, Titus Pete Falcon, Sr and Nancy Falcon; siblings, Terri Falcon-Thrun, Linda (Tom) Goss, Titus Pete Falcon, Jr., Todd (Dorie) Falcon, and Julie Falcon; nieces and nephews, Lynne Thrun, Patricia (Kevin) Flenniken, Thomas W. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Hall Chapel, Lincoln, KS. The family will have a viewing at Hall Chapel on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial will be at the Sylvan Grove Cemetery following the service.

Timothy Pete Falcon

William “Bill” W. Yager, 88, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at Grand Plains Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Pratt, KS. He was born to Ruth M. and William C. Yager, on December 14, 1932, in Ada, KS. Bill was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at St. John Lutheran Church, Lincoln. He was raised in Ada and graduated from Ada High School in 1950.

Bill attended Brown Mackie Business School and received an associate’s degree. He was then drafted into the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was discharged in 1954. 

Bill moved to Lincoln where he met Jolene Carol Panzer. The two were married on December 4, 1960 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ellsworth, KS. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Debra and Pamela. 

Bill went to work for Gourley Ford until he bought the dealership in 1985. He owned and operated it until he retired in 2012. Bill was involved in the car business for over 50 years. 

He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Lincoln and VFW Post 7928 where he was highly involved. He was the commander of the VFW Post 7928 and then later, the commander of the color guard. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 165 in Lincoln. Bill was such an honorable veteran and loved his country and serving it. He loved playing cards with his friends at the Senior Center. He also enjoyed his many trips to Las Vegas that he and his cronies took throughout the years.

Bill was a loving and dutiful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his family. He loved and adored his wife, children, and grandchildren. He always made sure he got a card sent and never missed anybody’s birthday. They truly came first. After spending the last couple of weeks in the hospital with a kidney cancer diagnosis, he got to spend his final days with his two daughters and their families.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Yager; wife, Jolene Panzer Yager; a baby brother and baby sister; brother, Richard Yager; and son-in-law, Dennis Larkin. He is survived by his daughters, Debra Larkin of Medicine Lodge, KS and Pamela Schimke and husband Todd of De Soto, KS; six grandchildren, Andrew Larkin, Kayla Larkin, Cora Schimke, Connor Schimke, Breanna Larkin, and Colton Schimke; and great-granddaughter, Jemma Whitebread.

Visitation: 10 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln.

Funeral service: 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at St. John Lutheran Church with burial following at Lincoln Cemetery.

Janice Goertz entered the gates of heaven on Sunday evening, November 28, 2021. She passed away peacefully according to her wishes with her husband, both children, all five of her grandchildren, and her brother at her side. 

Her survivors include her husband, Glenn Goertz of Hillsboro, daughter, Dyan and Dave Thornton of Wichita, son, John and Kelly Goertz of Omaha, and five grandchildren, Drew Thornton, Kristin Goertz, Olivia Thornton, Lauren Goertz, and Jacob Goertz. She is also survived by her brother, Tom and Marlys Plett of Hillsboro, sister, Vera and Ken Condict of Nixa, Missouri, brother-in-law, Thornton Newlove of Bellvue, Washington, and Phoenix, Arizona, along with countless relatives and special friends. 

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Menno and Marie Plett, and her sister, Lois Newlove.

John Richard Holub

Vernon Francis Waner was born on December 3, 1926 to Andy and Frances Waner in a small dirt floor house just east of Florence, Kansas. When Vernon was six weeks old, his family moved to the OK Ranch where Vernon’s father became the foreman of the OK. Vernon spent his childhood on the OK Ranch. He attended District 22 School then in 1939 he attended the Catholic School in Florence, Kansas. When his father passed away in 1940, Vernon had to return to country school and finish 8th grade, at the age of 14 with all of his older brothers married or in the military. Vernon had to take over as foreman of the OK Ranch. He took pride in the fact that he was able to run the ranch and send his younger sister Dorothy through high school and care for both her and his mother.

Vernon met the love of his life, Henrietta Stika, at a cake walk held at the Youngtown school northeast of Marion. They were married November 14, 1951. They lived on various rental properties until settling down on her parent’s farm northeast of Marion for a number of years. During this time Vernon continued as foreman of the OK until he was able to move his mother off the ranch and into Florence in 1953. At that time, Vernon left ranching and became a farmer along with holding various jobs at Reynolds Aluminum, the Alfalfa Mill, the Riddle Quarry, Florence Quarry, KP &amp; L, and helped build concrete culverts on HWY 77. Vernon quit farming in 1993 and by that time had been working at Marion Die and Fixture for 13 years. Vernon and Henrietta moved to town in 1969. He retired from Die and Fixture in 2000. Retirement was spent fishing and helping his kids with one project or another. Vernon and Henrietta also enjoyed several bus trips to go gambling.

Vernon and Henrietta were proud parents of five children: David, Carol, Darrell, Michael, and Steven. They loved attending school functions and ball games and continued this tradition with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They spent their lifetime worrying about their children and grandchildren and doing anything to help them out. Vernon enjoyed helping his children and could often be found tinkering around in either his garage or their garages fixing stuff. Vernon was proud of his garden and although he grumbled about it, he made sure to fill Henrietta’s dozens of flower pots each year and would diligently water her flowers. He continued taking care of some of her flowers after her death and always made sure to decorate her grave, especially for her birthday, their wedding anniversary, and Valentine's day.

Vernon was a member of the Knights of Columbus. His Catholic faith was very important to him and he enjoyed serving as an usher when needed. He enjoyed fishing at the lake with his brother, children, and grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to dances with Henrietta and the pair could be seen doing Polka or waltzing throughout their entire marriage. Family was very important to both Vernon and Henrietta and when Henrietta passed away in July 2017, Vernon lost the love of his life. Along with his dear wife Henrietta, Vernon was met in Heaven by his parents and siblings John, Paul, Bob, George, Ruth, and Dorothy, along with brothers and sisters in law.

He is survived by his children Dave (Tena) Waner of Marion, Darrell (Holly) Waner of Chicago, Ill., Carol (Craig) Leppke of Hillsboro, Mike (Tina) Waner of McPherson, and Steve (Traci) Waner of Marion along with nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be held Saturday . Memorials may be made to the Father Kapaun Fund &amp; Marion County Lake heated dock.

Vernon and Henrietta were proud parents of five children: David, Carol, Darrell, Michael, and Steven. They loved attending school functions and ball games and continued this tradition with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They spent their lifetime worrying about their children and grandchildren and doing anything to help them out. Vernon enjoyed helping his children and could often be found tinkering around in either his garage or their garages fixing stuff. Vernon was proud of his garden and although he grumbled about it, he made sure to fill Henrietta’s dozens of flower pots each year and would diligently water her flowers. He continued taking care of some of her flowers after her death and always made sure to decorate her grave, especially for her birthday, their wedding anniversary, and Valentine's day. Vernon was a member of the Knights of Columbus. His Catholic faith was very important to him and he enjoyed serving as an usher when needed. He enjoyed fishing at the lake with his brother, children, and grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to dances with Henrietta and the pair could be seen doing Polka or waltzing throughout their entire marriage. Family was very important to both Vernon and Henrietta and when Henrietta passed away in July 2017, Vernon lost the love of his life. Along with his dear wife Henrietta, Vernon was met in Heaven by his parents and siblings John, Paul, Bob, George, Ruth, and Dorothy, along with brothers and sisters in law. He is survived by his children Dave (Tena) Waner of Marion, Darrell (Holly) Waner of Chicago, Ill., Carol (Craig) Leppke of Hillsboro, Mike (Tina) Waner of McPherson, and Steve (Traci) Waner of Marion along with nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be held Saturday . Memorials may be made to the Father Kapaun Fund &amp; Marion County Lake heated dock.

Eva “Wanita” Davidson Cartner was born near Enterprise, Kansas January 29th, 1922, the youngest daughter of Ida (Frohardt) and Zera O.R. Davidson. 

On June 4, 1944, she married Ralph Alden Cartner. He preceded her in death after 24 years of marriage, on July 7, 1968. 

Following her mother’s death, Wanita spent several years helping her blind father manage a grocery store in Talmage, Kansas. Wanita was an LPN at Fort Riley, worked at Chapman Valley Manor, and had several jobs in the community and home. She was a long time member of the Brethren Church at Buckeye, Kansas. Wanita made a special effort to offer her love and care to friends and family and also took care of her niece Versha for many years. 

Wanita will be greatly missed by her family including her sister Wanda Neaderhiser of Omaha, Nebraska, and several nieces and nephews. She met with the Lord peacefully at Village Manor in Abilene Kansas on Monday November 29th.

Services for Wanita will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Danner Funeral Home in Abilene with Pastor Jason Kohler officiating. Her final resting place will be in the Union-Livingston Cemetery near Abilene.

Dolores "Jeanie" Pfannenstiel, 89, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 25th, at Eaglecrest Retirement Community. Jeanie was born in Schoenchen, Kansas on September 19, 1932, a daughter of the late Sophia (Herklotz) and Edward Werth. She was a homemaker, sales clerk at Ashton's Supermarket in Salina and True Value Hardware in Norton, Kansas. Jeanie was a member of the Jaycee Janes Organization in Norton, Kansas. She was also a member of Emmanuel Church where she served as the Greeter Coordinator of the church greeters for many years. Jeanie was a speaker for Women's Aglow Christian Fellowship for 5-6 years. Jeanie is survived by her husband of 68 years, Norbert L. Pfannenstiel; two daughters, Cynthia Meter (David), of Great Bend, Kansas, Debra Thompson (James), of Olathe, Kansas; son, Kevin Pfannenstiel, of Irving, Texas. She was a secretary and receptionist at King Financial Services for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hays, a 75-year member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha the international &nbsp;community service sorority and a member of the Hays Daughters of Isabella. Genevieve is survived by her daughter, Patricia Frost and husband Wendell of Renton, Washington; sons, Roger Brown and wife Kathy of Oswego, Illinois, and Steven Brown of Hays; seven grandchildren; &nbsp;nine great grandchildren; as well as a sister, Mary Ann Roberts of Beloit. Peggy’s life began on July 2, 1927, in Okeene, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Christian C. and Mollie C. (Jeffrey) Link. Peggy was the last surviving daughter from her family of twelve siblings. 

She graduated from high school in Okeene and was a player on the very first women’s high school basketball team in the state of Oklahoma. 

Peggy was united in marriage to Donald L. Buethe on April 3, 1949, in St John’s Lutheran Church in Lincolnville. She and Don were partners in the truest sense of the word. They started life with a small egg-producing farm of about two hundred hens and when they retired, they had 22,000 laying hens. Peggy was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lincolnville, and an avid supporter of 4-H and FFA. 

Peggy is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Mark) Harms of Lincolnville and her greatest joy, her grandchildren Taylor (Chase) Minihan, Cade Harms and Payton Harms. 

Peggy passed away on Thursday November 25, 2021, at the St. Luke’s Living Center. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, and children Edward, Dennis, and Donita. 

A private family memorial service will take place later and burial will be conducted in the Lincolnville Cemetery.

Larry’s life began on August 24, 1938, in St. Louis, MO. He is the son of Ray and Bernice (Ahlemey) Schwart. 

Larry graduated from Buhler High School, where he played basketball, football, track and baseball. He served his country in the Kansas Air National Guard. 

He was united in marriage to the former Lea Winkley on March 17, 1984, in Wichita. 

Larry was an insurance agent representing American National Insurance and Farmers Insurance. He and Lea also managed 48 rental properties. 

Larry enjoyed raising paint horses and showing his horses. He had been the president of the American Paint Horse Association. Lea and Larry were charter members of the Kansas Twisters RV Club and served as their vice president for four years and a national director for FMCA for the Kansas Twisters. He and Lea were also active in the Family Motorcoach Association and Larry always helped at events on the parking crew at least twice a year in March and September. They attended motorcoach conventions across the United States. Lea and Larry made many dear friends in the motorcoach association from coast to coast and north and south. 

Larry attended Holy Family Parish- St. Mark’s Church with his wife for over 17 years. He was an avid KU basketball fan and enjoyed watching their games. 

He is survived by his wife Lea of Marion, seven children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two brothers Don (Ruth Ann) Schwart of Topeka and Ray (Yvonne) Schwart of Olathe.&nbsp;

Larry passed away at Comfort Care Homes in Newton on Wednesday November 24, 2021. 

Rosary prayers will be held at St. Mark’s Church in Marion on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 6 p.m. There will be a visitation from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Hillsboro where his celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. at the Hillsboro funeral home. 

Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to Holy Family Parish, Comfort Care Homes of Newton, or Good Shepherd Hospice.

He is the son of Ray and Bernice (Ahlemey) Schwart. Larry graduated from Buhler High School, where he played basketball, football, track and baseball. He served his country in the Kansas Air National Guard. He was united in marriage to the former Lea Winkley on March 17, 1984, in Wichita. Larry was an insurance agent representing American National Insurance and Farmers Insurance. He and Lea also managed 48 rental properties. Larry enjoyed raising paint horses and showing his horses. He had been the president of the American Paint Horse Association. Lea and Larry were charter members of the Kansas Twisters RV Club and served as their vice president for four years and a national director for FMCA for the Kansas Twisters. He and Lea were also active in the Family Motorcoach Association and Larry always helped at events on the parking crew at least twice a year in March and September. They attended motorcoach conventions across the United States. Lea and Larry made many dear friends in the motorcoach association from coast to coast and north and south. Larry attended Holy Family Parish- St. Mark’s Church with his wife for over 17 years. He was an avid KU basketball fan and enjoyed watching their games. He is survived by his wife Lea of Marion, seven children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two brothers Don (Ruth Ann) Schwart of Topeka and Ray (Yvonne) Schwart of Olathe.&nbsp;Larry passed away at Comfort Care Homes in Newton on Wednesday November 24, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents. Rosary prayers will be held at St. Mark’s Church in Marion on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 6 p.m. There will be a visitation from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Hillsboro where his celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. at the Hillsboro funeral home. Joseph Gordon Kippenberger passed away November 27, 2021 at Village Manor after a brief illness. Gordon was born August 10, 1935 in Thomas, Oklahoma; he moved with his family to Abilene where he has been a resident for over 70 years. Gordon’s career was farming; he later enjoyed working for Abilene Co-Op. As a young man, he loved fast cars and fast boats, and bowling. Gordon joined the Army Reserves, and he was honorably discharged in 1962.

In 1957, Gordon married Joyce Combs; they were married for 61 years.

Gordon has been a lifelong member of St. Andrews Church. As his and Joyce’s health issues limited attending church services, they both were comforted by the weekly calls/ visits from the church staff.

Gordon had a rather tough exterior...he could stand his “ground” on many topics! He had “true grit!” However, when he shared his amazing laugh and memorable smile, one could experience his kind heart. 

As Joyce and Gordon began to spend more time at home, they settled into a comfortable routine: two remotes for the television (one would always nap) and two mobile phones( one could not hear well), and 4:00 p.m. cherry limeades from Sonic! As Joyce’s health began to decline, Gordon was an ever watchful caregiver. Gordon eventually moved into Village Manor to be with Joyce so they could share their meals and precious time together.

Family and friends were such a vital part of Gordon’s life. Many summer days were spent boating at the lake and during football season, cheering on O.U., all creating great memories. Neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bacon and girls were considered family and a source of help.

Gordon was predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kippenberger; his wife Joyce; two brothers Stanley (Wichita) and Mike (Florida); one sister Patsy (Tulsa). 

He is survived by his sister Betty (Ed) Krenger of Abilene; Joyce’s siblings: Dan (Mel) Combs of Whitesboro, Texas; Phil (Nancy) Combs of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Joan (Terry) Kelly of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews(Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New York); and godchildren.

Our family would like to acknowledge the faithful support we found in Abilene: Pinnacle Bank, Royer Law Firm, Randy Gassman, Abilene Home Health and Hospice; West Grocery, The Flower Box and Martin-Becker. Wherever I went for help, these and many more opened their doors. He had “true grit!” However, when he shared his amazing laugh and memorable smile, one could experience his kind heart. As Joyce and Gordon began to spend more time at home, they settled into a comfortable routine: two remotes for the television (one would always nap) and two mobile phones( one could not hear well), and 4:00 p.m. cherry limeades from Sonic! As Joyce’s health began to decline, Gordon was an ever watchful caregiver. Joseph Gordon Kippenberger

  Great Bend KS and former Wallace County, KS resident Dolores P Medina, 87, passed away on November 23, 2021, at Azria Health Nursing Home in Great Bend, KS.

   Dolores was born on December 9, 1933, in Chacon, New Mexico, to Roberto and Abelina (Gonzalez) Torrez. She was one of eight children, three brothers and four sisters. The family moved to Olney Springs, Colorado where Dolores and her siblings attended school and had numerous stories about growing up in the Arkansas Valley.

   On September 22, 1951, she married Jess Medina and to this union five children were born, Rita, Jess, Sara, Norman and Celia. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren and attending ball games and school activities.  

   Dolores worked at the Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Sharon Springs, KS for 17 years starting in 1981, earning her Medication Aide Certification in 1986 and continued working until 1998. She retired and moved to Great Bend, KS. She enjoyed watching her KU basketball and Denver Bronco football games with her little dog Magoo in her arms and let everyone know not to call her until the games were over!! 

   Preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter Celia Jane Medina, one son Norman Gary Medina, three sisters and two brothers.

   She is survived by her children Rita (Dennis) Smith of Weskan, KS, Jess (Carmen) Medina of San Antonio, TX, formerly of Sublette, KS and Sara (Gary) Pletcher of Great Bend, KS. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law Cindy Medina of Salina, KS, one brother Cipriano (Mary) Torrez of Jacksonville, FL, one sister Gloria (Mark) Kreidler of Sunnyvale, CA, eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

   Services for Dolores will be held at a later date. 

   Memorial contributions may be designated to Wallace County Community Care Center (Formerly Prairie Manor Nursing Home) and may be mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave, Goodland, KS 67735.

Known as Pappy to most, Clarence was born on November 29, 1927 to Henry and Marie (Schlenz) Hake in Tipton, Kansas. Clarence was the second of seven children and attended St. Boniface Grade School, graduating from Tipton High School in 1945.

He asked former classmate Marilyn Pfeiffer “Will you marry up with me?” and they were joined in marriage on September 4, 1950 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Tipton. They celebrated 71 years together in September.

A son of Tipton, Clarence learned carpentry from his uncle in his youth and was known for his woodworking skills and ingenuity. Clarence farmed, did maintenance work for Pizza Hut, was a finish carpenter, and helped construct the Tipton Community School. Clarence designed and built the Ferris wheel that still graces the Tipton church picnic decades later. Raising seven children with Marilyn, he built a home for his family east of Tipton that is now Blue Hills Lodge. He built the place “stick by stick,” using redwood recovered from water tanks that had powered steam locomotives, and was proud of the lake he designed and every tree he planted.&nbsp;

Pappy loved the best things in life. He was happiest looking out over the land from his shed, tucking into a good meal, pulling out a bottle of moonshine or Corona, drawing out a joke to its punchline, and singing tunes like “Rubin, Rubin” and “Bill Grogan's Goat.” A highlight of his life was his trip to Alaska fishing for king crab, halibut, and salmon. He spent many years setting up Marilyn’s booth at art shows, including his favorite, the Winfield Bluegrass Festival. At Blue Hills Lodge, he loved building up a fire for the hunters while swapping jokes. The Lodge allowed him to share his life’s work and stories with others. Many hunters returned every year and became a part of the Blue Hills family.&nbsp;

Clarence leaves a family that will treasure the legacy he left us. Every time we put a new generation on the Ferris Wheel, gather in the shed, or dance in the kitchen, we’ll be thankful for the years we had with him.

Clarence is survived by his wife Marilyn, his children Jan Hake of McPherson, Lisa Hake of Tipton, Leslie and Jim Shirack of Salina, Lila and Felton Lawrence of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Mark Hake of Tipton, and Mary Lynn and Dave Rauch of Sandia Park, New Mexico; his grandchildren Drew and Brandi Shirack of Salina, Lindsey Shirack of Austin, Texas, Ashley and Ray Ofosu of Edmond, Oklahoma, Kacey and Matt Price of Luther, Oklahoma, Addison Rauch of Nashville, Tennessee, Mason Rauch of Oceana Naval Station in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Jackson Hake of Whitesboro, Texas, and Rory Hake of Whitesboro, Texas; and great-grandchildren Carter Shirack, Isaiah, Eli and Ainslee Ofosu, and Jordyn, Khloe and Kyler Price. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Galen, his grandson Blake Shirack, his sister Luella (Sister Paulette), and his brother Arthur. 

He is survived by three sisters, Rosemary Joslyn of Beloit, Etta Jean Walker of Hemet, California, Margaret Eck of Beloit, and his brother, Norman Hake of Tipton.

Clarence was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Tipton Lions Club and the Knights of Columbus.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 29 at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Tipton. A rosary service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church, and&nbsp; visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the rosary service begins at the Church. 

Memorials may be given to Resident Care Center, Solomon Valley Hospice, or Tipton Schools.

Dennis Lee Isbell, the son of Leroy and Gertrude Mortimer Isbell, was born on September 11, 1948 in Salina, Kansas.&nbsp; He died early Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kansas at the age of 73.

Dennis grew up in Beloit where he graduated from Beloit High School in 1966.&nbsp; Following graduation, he attended Fort Hays State University.

He returned to Beloit and worked for Peterson Construction.&nbsp; He then worked for Beloit Motor Company retiring in 2018 after 48 years of service.

Dennis married Patricia Heidrick on June 3, 1972. To this union four children were born, Kerri, Corey, Ryan, and Brandon.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and wood working.&nbsp; He was also an avid sports fan, especially when it came to baseball.&nbsp; He coached Cookie baseball for many years, as well as K-18.&nbsp; He loved collecting baseball memorabilia and coins.&nbsp; 

He loved supporting his children and grandchildren in all their activities and was always affectionately known as Papa Dino.&nbsp; Grandchildren could not leave the house without a Papa Dino fist bump.&nbsp;

Dennis served as Past President of the Eagles Club and was also a member of the Elks Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gertrude and Leroy; twin infant siblings; parents-in-law, Eugene and Irene Heidrick; and brother-in-law, Ronald Heidrick

Dennis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia, of the home; daughter Kerri and husband Cris Adams of Beloit; sons Corey and wife Heather of Beloit, Ryan and wife Jenny of Beloit, and Brandon of Phoenix, Az; nine grandchildren, Cooper, Kennedy, Parker, Kohler, Landrey, Joley, Max, Boone, and Banks; brother David of Salina; sister Jan and husband Ken Stoecker of Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Janet Snedden; brother in law Dave Heidrick and wife Jane; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 30 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home, and family requests casual attire. Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

 </figure><a href="https://www.mcdonaldrobertsfuneralservice.com/obituary/dennis-isbell">Obituary | Dennis Isbell of Beloit, Kansas | Roberts Family Funeral Service (mcdonaldrobertsfuneralservice.com)</a>September 11, 1948 - November 26, 2021Dennis Lee Isbell, the son of Leroy and Gertrude Mortimer Isbell, was born on September 11, 1948 in Salina, Kansas.&nbsp; He died early Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kansas at the age of 73.Dennis grew up in Beloit where he graduated from Beloit High School in 1966.&nbsp; Following graduation, he attended Fort Hays State University.He returned to Beloit and worked for Peterson Construction.&nbsp; He then worked for Beloit Motor Company retiring in 2018 after 48 years of service.Dennis married Patricia Heidrick on June 3, 1972. To this union four children were born, Kerri, Corey, Ryan, and Brandon.In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and wood working.&nbsp; He was also an avid sports fan, especially when it came to baseball.&nbsp; He coached Cookie baseball for many years, as well as K-18.&nbsp; He loved collecting baseball memorabilia and coins.&nbsp; He loved supporting his children and grandchildren in all their activities and was always affectionately known as Papa Dino.&nbsp; Grandchildren could not leave the house without a Papa Dino fist bump.&nbsp;Dennis served as Past President of the Eagles Club and was also a member of the Elks Lodge.He was preceded in death by his parents Gertrude and Leroy; twin infant siblings; parents-in-law, Eugene and Irene Heidrick; and brother-in-law, Ronald HeidrickDennis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia, of the home; daughter Kerri and husband Cris Adams of Beloit; sons Corey and wife Heather of Beloit, Ryan and wife Jenny of Beloit, and Brandon of Phoenix, Az; nine grandchildren, Cooper, Kennedy, Parker, Kohler, Landrey, Joley, Max, Boone, and Banks; brother David of Salina; sister Jan and husband Ken Stoecker of Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Janet Snedden; brother in law Dave Heidrick and wife Jane; and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 30 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home, and family requests casual attire. Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
