ABILENE - Because of an increase in COVID-19 cases in the community and the desire to reduce the risk to patients and staff, Memorial Hospital will be reducing visitation.
Memorial Health System announced this afternoon that beginning Tuesday, Memorial Hospital will reduce visitation to:
●Two designated visitors (throughout patient’s stay) per patient on the Inpatient Unit and ROSE Unit.
●Two designated visitors for mother/baby unit on OB.
●One designated visitor for Emergency Department patient.
●One designated visitor for patient going to clinic/outpatient services.
End of life situations will be assessed on a case by case basis.
In all cases, masks are required upon entry.
