With the wide variety of items available, chances are you'll find something you need or want at the upcoming Salina Regional Health Center Service Auxiliary Spring Sale.
Scheduled for April 29-May 2 in the 4-H Building in Kenwood Park, the annual event already has a multitude of items for sale, including "baby items, toys, lots of décor items, kitchen gadgets, lots of good clothing, books, CDs, and a lot of miscellaneous" items, Carol Brent, one of the event organizers, told Salina Post.
Proceeds from the sale help support the operation of the Rebecca A. Morrison House and go toward healthcare scholarships, she said.
Sale dates and times are as follows.
April 29
9 a.m.-5 p.m.
April 30
9 a.m.-5 p.m.
May 1
1-5 p.m. This is a Bag Day. You can fill a paper grocery bag or recyclable cloth bag for $3 or $4.
May 2
9 a.m.-1 p.m. Also a Bag Day.
If you would like to donate items to the auxiliary sale, you may do so from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. April 27-28. Brent said that tax receipts are available for donated items. The group cannot accept tires, refrigerators, freezers, de-humidifiers, air conditioners, hazardous materials, or mattresses, she added.
Additionally, the auxiliary needs volunteers to help set up and tear down the sale. If you'd like to help, call Brent at 785-309-1999.
