
KANSAS CITY—Investigators are working to determine the cause of a fire at a maintenance building in Kansas City.
Just before 7:30p.m. Wednesday, crews responded to the fire near 138th and Wyandotte in a maintenance building belonging to Suburban Lawn and Garden, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.

Crews set up a defensive operations to get the fire under control. There were various tanks containing fuel sources that caused secondary explosions inside the building. No injuries were reported. Authorities have not released a damage estimate.
