William “Bill”&nbsp;Thomas Snapp was born November 13, 1922 in Kansas City, Missouri and passed away March 23, 2020 at the Belleville Health Care Center at the age of 97 years, 4 months and 10 days.

At the age of 11 days he was adopted by Glenn B. and Edna Gettle Snapp of Belleville, Kansas. &nbsp;Bill grew up on the farm south of Belleville and attended No. 1 school, Wayne and Belleville High Schools.

He was married to a Wilma Jean Proft on October 22, 1948 and to this union&nbsp;was born Billy, Linda, Tom and Jim. &nbsp;The couple made their home in Belleville.&nbsp;Bill worked on the farm with his dad for several years and after moving to Belleville he worked for Hall Mill and Elevator, Ausherman Mfg. and the City of Belleville. &nbsp;In his spare time he did tree and yard work for many in the Belleville area.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Belleville. &nbsp;Bill enjoyed hunting and trapping with his sons and grandsons and also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren attending many of their school and scouting activities.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wilma; son, Jim; brother, Dan; and sister, Mary.

He is survived by his children&nbsp;Billy Snapp of Salina, KS, Linda (Dan) Wiruth of Newton, Ks. and Tom (Dianna) Snapp of Belleville, Ks, 6 grandchildren: Carmen (Brandon) Fiedler, Jon (Karen) Snapp, Jeremy (Gretta) Snapp, Angela Snapp, B.J. (Katie) Snapp and Christy (Dave) Robinett; &nbsp;11 great grandchildren: &nbsp;Shannon, Jeremy, Amy, Katie, Kyle, Frankie, Allison, Farmer, Riley, Braxton, and Brady; three great great grandchildren: Emilie, Colby and Lily; other relatives and friends.

Cremation was selected and Graveside Memorial Services will be held at the Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, KS at a later date.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Inurnment will follow the services.

Stanley Gordon Wytcherley, 96, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020, surrounded by the love of his family at The Cedars in McPherson.

He was born on September 25, 1923, in Peoria, IL, the son of Edward and Erma (Bowman) Wytcherley. He graduated from Manual High School in Peoria, Greenville College in Greenville, IL, and received his masters at Bradley University, Peoria, IL. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was stationed at Naval Station Great Lakes where he taught electronics and radio. On August 27, 1947, Stan was united in marriage to Ruby Joyce Hastriter in McPherson. This union was blessed with three children, Linda, Gary, and Lori. Ruby preceded Stan in death on February 22, 2020.

Stanley and Ruby lived in Southern California for 44 years before moving back to McPherson in 1996. He worked for North American Rockwell in many capacities over the years. He also was active in their church and Kiwanis.

Survivors include: children, Linda Lundquist (Karl) of Katy, TX, Gary Wytcherley (Betty Ann) of Fullerton, CA, and Lori Enderle (Steve) of McPherson, KS; three grandchildren, Juliana Seale (Andy) of Katy, TX, Danny Enderle (Nancy) of Odenton, MD, and Sarah O'Neal (Adam) of McPherson, KS; and nine great-grandchildren.

A private family graveside service will be held at McPherson Cemetery.

Ernest Edward “Jess” Justice, 78, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

Jess joined the U.S. Air Force at 17 years of age, and retired after 20 years. He worked nine years at Stewart International, and retired in 2009 after 20 years at Sam’s Club.

Jess loved golf, country music, his guitar, his dogs and his family. He had an amazing sense of humor; a one-of-a-kind man.

Jess is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Joan; son, Jamie Justice (Dawn); daughters, Eva Knight (James) and Holly McKain; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Garrett and Olivia Justice, Tess Currier, and Jackson and Riley McKain; five sisters; and two brothers.

A celebration of his life will take place at a later time. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the donor’s choice.

Wichita, Kansas, died Monday, March 16, 2020, at Ascension Via Christi 
Hospital-St. Francis Wichita, Kansas. He was born November 21,1948, at 
Hays, Kansas to John and Amelia “Mollie” (Dinkel) Schulte.&nbsp; He married 
Brenda Kay (Sechler) on July 7, 1973, at Victoria, Kansas.

He was a draftsman engineer at the 
Coleman Company in Wichita for 44 years and retired in 2011.&nbsp; He grew up
 in Victoria and was a 1966 graduate of Victoria High School.&nbsp;He 
graduated from Wichita State University with an Engineering Degree.&nbsp; 
Regis was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Wichita 
and very active in the parish. He also was a volunteer at The Center of 
Hope in Wichita.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda 
Schulte, of the home; one son, Matthew Schulte and wife, Jane, Wichita, 
KS; one daughter, Kimberly Schulte, Maize, KS; one brother, Damian 
Schulte and wife, Alicia, Escondido, CA; one sister, Claudia Hertel, 
Great Bend, KS; three grandchildren, George Schulte, Braden Schulte and 
Ellen Schulte.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carey Schulte; and one brother-in-law, Denis Hertel.

Steven Lyle McPeak was born on August 25, 1950, the first-born son of Lyle Eugene and Shirley Rose (Miller) McPeak.&nbsp; He departed this life at the age of 69 on March 19, 2020, at Mitchell County Hospital.

Steve grew up on the family farm Southwest of Glen Elder and attended Naomi Country School, Glen Elder Grade School and graduated with the Class of 1969 from Glen Elder High School.

Following one year of Vo-Tech at Beloit, Steve became employed by Orval Range at Waconda Boats and Motors in Glen Elder.&nbsp; He continued his work life with Richardson Manufacturing of Cawker City and Kent Manufacturing of Tipton, where he put in many years of service in the fabrication department.&nbsp;

Behind the steering wheel of his pickup and farm trucks was where Steve loved the country scenery and he hauled many loads of wheat and other crops for the family farm.

Steve was baptized in the Glen Elder Methodist Church on August 20, 1961.&nbsp; He was a charter member of the Glen Elder Lions Club and enjoyed the many activities and projects with his fellow Lions members.

He was preceded in death by his father Lyle, his grandparents Arlie and Martha McPeak of Glen Elder, and Rudolph and Callie Miller of Downs.

He is survived by his mother Shirley, his brothers &nbsp;Marty (Carla) McPeak and Barry (Darcel) McPeak, all of Glen Elder; his nephew Jeff (Lindsay) McPeak, his nieces Michelle (Ron) Dubbert, Kelly (Andy) Schardt, and Mackenzie McPeak; his great –nieces and great-nephews Peyton, Brenna, Carter, Kennedy, Grady, Evalyn, Theo and Delilah, his Aunt Ardis Jones of Lawrence, and many cousins and friends.

James Hollinger Buoy, age 85, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020, at his home in Concordia, Kansas.&nbsp; He was born March 17th, 1935, in Concordia, KS to Glenn Clark and Iva Meredith (Hollinger) Buoy.

Jim attended Cottonwood School in Meredith Township through 8th&nbsp;grade and graduated from Concordia High School in 1953.&nbsp; He graduated from Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1956 and began his life’s calling as a Funeral Director and Embalmer.&nbsp; He began his career at Smith Funeral Home in 1952.&nbsp; In 1968, he purchased the Blachly Funeral Home in Jamestown, KS.&nbsp; In 1973, he became manager of Blachly &amp; Buoy Funeral Home in Jamestown, KS, Chaput Mortuary in Clyde, KS and Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia, KS.&nbsp; He retired in 2001, after a nearly 50 year career serving the needs of over 5000 families.&nbsp;

On November 1st, 1956 he was united in marriage to Alice Jean Marsh, daughter of John H. &amp; Wanda E. (Woodhams) Marsh, at Idana Wesleyan Church, Idana, Kansas.&nbsp; To this union four children were born:&nbsp; Kimberly, Keenan, Angela and Jared.

James Hollinger Buoy

John Benjamin “Jack” Chaney Jr., 89, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020, surrounded by family, at Presbyterian Manor in Salina.

Jack was born Oct. 21, 1930, in Junction City to John and Dorothy (Girton) Chaney.

He joined the Marine Corps and served in the Korean War. On June 14, 1953, he was united in marriage to Gertrude “Trudy” Tillberg. He received his bachelor of science degree in animal husbandry from Kansas State University in 1955. He and Trudy traveled the country with his job in radio and cable television. They later settled in Concordia, where they purchased and ran Chaney’s True Value hardware store. In 1990, the couple built a home at the family pond near Bennington; they lived there for 25 years.

Jack is survived by his wife, Trudy Chaney; brother, Norman Chaney; sons, Bart Chaney (Lisa) and Jeff Chaney (Edie); five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Celebration of Life memorial service will be announced at a later date due to current travel concerns.

 </figure>John Benjamin “Jack” Chaney Jr., 89, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020, surrounded by family, at Presbyterian Manor in Salina.Jack was born Oct. 21, 1930, in Junction City to John and Dorothy (Girton) Chaney.He joined the Marine Corps and served in the Korean War. On June 14, 1953, he was united in marriage to Gertrude “Trudy” Tillberg. He received his bachelor of science degree in animal husbandry from Kansas State University in 1955. He and Trudy traveled the country with his job in radio and cable television. They later settled in Concordia, where they purchased and ran Chaney’s True Value hardware store. In 1990, the couple built a home at the family pond near Bennington; they lived there for 25 years.Jack is survived by his wife, Trudy Chaney; brother, Norman Chaney; sons, Bart Chaney (Lisa) and Jeff Chaney (Edie); five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Jack was preceded in death by both of his parents.Celebration of Life memorial service will be announced at a later date due to current travel concerns.Cards can be sent to Trudy Chaney, in care of Presbyterian Manor, Room 307, 2601 E. Minnie M. (Gerdsen) Smoot, 101 years young, of Salina, spread her heavenly wings to her forever home Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Minnie was born to Conrad and Sarah (Algeo) Gerdsen on Oct. 4, 1918, in Rooks Creek Township, Ill.

She was a dedicated housewife to dairy farmer Ira Smoot. After selling their farm they moved to Gas City, Ind. They later divorced.

Minnie retired from Neosho County Memorial Hospital where she worked in housekeeping. After retirement she babysat many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She later moved to Salina. When her health declined, she relocated to Pinnacle Park Nursing Home, Salina, where she resided until her peaceful death.

Her love for family was her whole goal in life and created so many wonderful memories and a legacy of true family value. Minnie was well-known for her love of children, home-cooking, holiday candies and her famous potato donuts.

Minnie is survived by three daughters, Shirley Leroy, of Chanute, and Marcella Smoot and Aleta Flaherty (David, of Salina; stepchildren, Dean Smoot, of Lyndon, and Stela Higinbotham, of Moran; 30 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Sam Gerdsen (Ethel, Charles Gerdsen, Ralph Gerdsen (Frances, Bob Gerdsen (Lucy) and Fannie Ansell (Bus); son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Donna Gerdsen; son-in-law, Gary Leroy; stepchildren, Glen, Carl, Albert , Bud Smoot, Dorothy Spillman and Marjorie Simkins; grandchildren, Mark Gerdsen, Randy Smoot and Melvin Smoot; and great-grandchildren, Marsha Smoot and Jason Smoot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Katie (Morgan) Hanel, and his sister-in-law, Evelyn Hanel.

Gregory Dean Keeling, 52, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Monday, March 16th, at Salina Regional Health Center, Kansas.

Gregory was born in Wichita, Kansas on July 10, 1967, a son of Edith (Edson) and Fred Keeling of Braman, Oklahoma.

Richard K. “Dick” Urban, 97, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 in Ellsworth. He was born November 9, 1922 in Lincoln County, the son of George Henry and Frances (Boyle) Urban.

Dick was called to duty to serve his country as a Seabee in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a longtime resident of Lincoln and Ellsworth Counties where he was a farmer and plumber. In 1961 he started as a plumber at Erhardt Electric then co-owned B&amp;D Plumbing with Buck Strong and finally he owned and operated Urban’s Plumbing in Ellsworth. He was a 70 plus year member of the Ellsworth Masonic Lodge No. 146 and was a lifetime member of the American Legions in Sylvan Grove Post 359 and Ellsworth Post 174. He was a charter member of the Ellsworth VFW Post 6485 and served as commander, quarter master, and state VFW bowling chairman. Second to his dedication to the VFW, he was an avid bowler having been one of the first bowlers to bowl 50 years at Coach and Four Bowling Lanes which opened in 1961.

Dick married Lillian Zelenka in Sylvan Grove on September 12, 1948. After almost 70 years of marriage, she preceded him in death in 2018. He was also preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Bob, Duane, Doyle, and Newt.

Dick is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Foran (Roger) of Ellsworth; grandchildren, Anita Fuller (Terry) of Dillingham, AK, Ray Foran of Omaha, NE, and Pamela Hays (Tim) of Ellsworth; six great grandchildren, Sarah and Shayla Fuller of Dillingham, AK, Kelsi Zamerzla (Riley) of Ellsworth, and Kara, Trenton, and Caleb Hays of Ellsworth; great-great granddaughter, Chiles Zamerzla; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 1-8 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2020 at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.

A private family graveside service will take place at Sylvan Grove Cemetery with military honors. A public celebration of life service will be planned at a later date.

Gail W. Aills, 79, of Salina, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020. He was born March 30, 1940, in Salina. On Feb. 14, 1959, he married Jo Ann Robb at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina.

Gail served eight years in the U.S. Air Force followed by 25 years as a firefighter for the Salina Fire Department, retiring as division chief. He worked the next 13 years as Saline County Emergency Management Director, retiring in 2003. Gail enjoyed traveling, woodworking, yardwork, bluegrass music and watching football and basketball.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jo Ann; children, Theresa Howard (Larry, Mark Aills, Denise Metzger (David) and Patti Heiman (Ted); brother, Harry Searle; brother-in-law, Charles Latham; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Edna (Aills) Searle, and sister, Bonnie Latham.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. A private inurnment will take place at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Salina.

C.J. Richardson, 94, of Salina, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020, at Pinnacle Park Nursing Center, Salina. C.J. was born May 7, 1925, to Minnie Lee Miller and Tommy Richard in Flora, Miss. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

C.J. married I.V. in December 1946. In 1955, the couple moved to Salina with their children. C.J. worked as a cement finisher.

Survivors include all nine of his children, three generations of grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends who will miss and cherish him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his wife, I.V. Richardson; parents; one sister; and three brothers.

Celebration of Life service will held at a later date. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at Ryan Mortuary. Burial will be private.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church.

George G. “Galen” Tolle, 91, of Wichita passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.  Galen was born March 21, 1928 in Roxbury, KS to the late George B. Delia F. (Anderson) Tolle.  

Galen was a high school graduate.  He was a lifelong farmer.  He married Dorothy Marie Macklin on February 8, 1948.  

He is survived by his son: Gordon G. Tolle (Sherry) of Wichita, KS; daughter: Mary Ann Bettis (Michael, of Overland Park, KS; sister: Lucille Becker (Don); sisters-in-law: Ardyth Tolle and Dorothy Macklin; brother-in-law: Harold Sales; as well as 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Galen is preceded in death by his parents, wife: Dorothy; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

There will not be visitation due to recent gathering restrictions.  Private family graveside services will be held at Valley View Cemetery.

Herman Joseph Lippert Jr., 92 died March 17, 2020 in Manhattan, KS.&nbsp; He was born on September 9, 1927 in Clay Center, KS the son of Herman, Sr. and Jennie (Murphy) Lippert.&nbsp; Herman served in the US Army during the Korean War. He married Julia Laflin on October 18, 1953.&nbsp; She preceded him in death on October 21, 2018. Herman worked in the maintenance department for the U.S. Postal Service.&nbsp; He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center, KS as well as the American Legion. Herman Joseph Lippert Jr., 92 died March 17, 2020 in Manhattan, KS.&nbsp; He was born on September 9, 1927 in Clay Center, KS the son of Herman, Sr. and Jennie (Murphy) Lippert.&nbsp; Herman served in the US Army during the Korean War. He married Julia Laflin on October 18, 1953.&nbsp; She preceded him in death on October 21, 2018. Herman worked in the maintenance department for the U.S. Postal Service.&nbsp; He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center, KS as well as the American Legion. Herman Joseph Lippert Jr.

Shirley Louis (Johnson) Dahl was born on April 23, 1942, in Belleville, Kansas. She was the daughter of Albin Renold &amp; Gladys Lucille (Aspergren) Johnson, and was one of five children born to this union.

Shirley grew up in near Courtland, attending Kackley Grade School and then graduating from Courtland High School, class of 1960. Following high school, Shirley attended Brown Mackie College in Salina.

On October 15, 1961, Shirley was united in marriage to Norman R. Dahl at the Ada Lutheran Church.

Shirley enjoyed watching sports, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers and flower beds around her home. When Norman was battling cancer, Shirley was his dedicated care giver throughout his illness.

Shirley also enjoyed her pets; most recently, her husky Kiya, that would always greet Shirley with I Love You when she walked in the door.

Shirley passed away on March 14, 2020, in Wichita, at the age of 77 years, 10 months, and 21 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Norman.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, David Dahl of Formoso, Gary Dahl and his wife Linda of Formoso, Renea Schott and her husband Tim of Savannah, Missouri, and son Kevin Dahl and his wife Jessica of Belleville. Shirley is also survived by her sisters, Alma Dean Johnson of Salina, Verlene Watson and her husband Richard of Hardy, Nebraska, and Rhonda Reed of Madison, Kansas, and brother John Johnson of Courtland. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a community of friends.

Memorials are requested the Belleville Ball Association, or to Pike Valley softball and/or baseball to benefit youth sports, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.

Robert (Bob) Eugene Macy, son of Harold and Mildred Macy, born near Oak Hill, KS, April 20, 1932 went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2020 at age 87.

Bob married Virginia Mae Perdue on September 27, 1952 and both dedicated their careers to education. Bob taught in Salina and Junction City, KS and then served as a principal in Downs, Goddard and Wichita, KS. Along with working in school systems, Bob owned his own wallpapering business, serving many customers in the Wichita area. In his later years, Bob traveled and especially enjoyed serving on several mission’s teams all over the world.

Bob is survived by his three children, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews

Gertrude's life began on September 15, 1922 in Burns.&nbsp; She was the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Uppenkamp) Olberding.&nbsp; 

She attended Prairie Dell (Coyote) Country School and Burns High School, graduating in 1940.&nbsp; 

Gertrude was united in marriage to Raymond Weber on October 22, 1941 at Immaculate Conception Church in Burns.&nbsp; 

The couple moved to a farm eight miles south of Clements until 1946 then to a farm west of Matfield Green, followed by a move to north of Burns, and finally to their home east of Marion.&nbsp; Gertrude went to work as a carpenter in 1962 in Herington with her brother in law Ray and sons Bernard and Wayne where she worked for 27 years.&nbsp; 

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Florence, a member of the Altar Society and Harvest House.&nbsp; 

Gertrude loved her farm animals, selling eggs, textile painting and being a 4-H leader for her children.&nbsp; 

Her greatest joy was her family which includes her children Faye Taylor of Manhattan, Wayne (Jane) Weber of Marion, Charles (Beverly) Weber of Paola and Dale (Mashawn) Weber of Florence; grandchildren Sheila Williams, Julie (Troy) Shaw, Carolyn (Mike) Bell, Brent ( Cindy) Schmidt, Christina ( Mike) Strauss, Toby Schmidt, Wendy ( Morgan) Miller, Allison (Danny) Forsyth, Andrew (Chelsea) Weber, Larry Weber, Clint ( Virgilene) Weber and Kevin Weber; 28 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; sister Louise (Jack) Hall of Wichita, daughter in law Donna (Delmer) Fink.&nbsp; 

Gertrude passed away on March 13, 2020 at the Salem Mennonite Home in Hillsboro.&nbsp; 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, son Bernard, brother James Olberding, sister Catherine Brown and son in law Ron Taylor.&nbsp;

Gertrude M (Olberding) Weber

Gail Roland Morrison, 93, died Saturday, March 14, 2020, at his home in Salina. He was born April 5, 1926, in Salina, the son of Gail Matthew and Racie E. (Hilton) Morrison. He graduated from Salina High School with the class of 1944. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946, stationed in Guam. He received the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the Victory Medal. Upon his return, he graduated from Kansas State University, Manhattan, in 1950. Go Cats!

Gail married Margaret Lindblom on June 4, 1950, at First United Methodist Church, Salina. He started out working for J.C. Penney selling shoes; he also worked for Finance Credit Company and sold insurance. He worked as a storekeeper at Kansas Power and Light, retiring after 19 years of service in 1987. He was a 60-year member of Salina Lodge 60 and a Past Master. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, Isis Shrine and Isis Shrine Highlander Pipes and Drums and enjoyed playing the bagpipes. After retirement Gail and Margaret went to craft shows, selling their ceramics.

He was a seventy-year member of First United Methodist Church, Salina. He participated in many groups at the church including Peacemakers and Pathfinders Sunday school classes, kitchen crew, board of trustees and memorials committee. He also served as an office helper and Sunday School teacher and helped count the offering. He and Margaret made many ceramic pieces for church activities. He was a regular attendee at First Covenant Church, Salina. His friends at Arbor Court were very important to him.

Gail always thought he had no relatives, but with the last name Morrison, we knew differently. He and his family started doing genealogy and ended up with more than nine generations of relatives — hundreds of cousins — dating back to 1680 in Scotland. His great-grandfather, Whitfield Morrison, came to Salina in 1860, the fifth family to settle in Salina.

He is survived by his daughters, Constance M. “Connie” Christopher (Michael) and Susan L. Borthwick (Corwin, all of Salina; four grandchildren, Abigail M. Burchfield (Adam, of Sagamihara, Japan, Jeremy M. Christopher (Kelsey, of Wichita, Evan B. Borthwick (Sarah, of Warrensburg, Mo., and Grant B. Borthwick, of Redmond, Wash.; six great-grandchildren, Amelia, Lexi and Caleb Burchfield, Harper and Hadley Christopher and Felicity Borthwick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, in 2017; his parents; and sister, Mary Ruth Anderson, in 2017.

Memorial services for Gail have been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. Rearrangements will be announced.

Robert D. Ashbaugh, 74, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, March 13th, 2020.

Robert was born in Webster, Kansas on May 27, 1945, a son of the late Ruth (Mindenhall) and Elda David Ashbaugh.

On May 27th, 1972 he married Kathy J. Meitler. She survives of the home.

He is also survived by his daughter, Tina Dolezal (Dave) of Ellsworth, Kansas; son, Sherman R. Ashbaugh (Katherine) of Great Bend; brothers, Jack Ashbaugh (Vicki) and Dale Ashbaugh (Utanna) both of Hill City ,Kansas; sisters, Veeta Hargrave (Jim) of Fruitland, Iowa, Shirley Most of Ellsworth, Kansas, and Jackie Hopkins (Rod) of Ogalalla, Nebraska; 10 grandchildren, one great granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Ashbaugh and Darrell; and sister, Sharon Gill.

Cremation has been chosen and services will be at a later date.
