
Clifford R. Bollier, 90, Minneapolis, died Friday, August 14, 2020 at his home. He was born April 11, 1930 in Vesper to Clifford O. and Rosella (Redman) Bollier.
Upon graduating from high school, Clifford served in the United States Navy. On June 9, 1953, he and Joann M. Ewart were united in marriage. They owned and operated Bollier Motors for several years but he was best known as a lifelong farmer. He also served as mayor and a city council member in Minneapolis. Clifford’s family will forever be grateful for the loving care he gave to Joann for many years before her passing on February 8, 2018.
Besides Joann, Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ella Marie Lamont, Juanita Sullivan, and Gertrude Lambert.
Survivors are his children, Rick and Ron Bollier, and Rita (Charlie) Carpenter; brothers, Merle and Gale; sisters, Shirley Tischer and Sharolyn Knapp; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, private services will be held. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Visitation without the family present will be from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 18 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock City or Love INC and may be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O.
