Stephen “Steve” R. Davis, age 67, of Downs, KS, formerly of Concordia, KS, entered &nbsp;into rest on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, at Osborne County Memorial Hospital, Osborne, Kansas. &nbsp;He was born on Sept. &nbsp;11, 1954 in Denver, Colorado to Jack and Alice (Flesher) Davis.

Steve was a 1972 graduate of Concordia High School.

He worked as a sales person and manager for Pepsi Cola Bottling Company, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Old Home Bread and then Resource Management.&nbsp; He married Valerie L. Marsh on Nov. 17, 1973 in Delphos, KS.

He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and dogs.&nbsp; Steve and Val were dedicated volunteers for Relay for Life in both Ada and Concordia.&nbsp;

Steve is survived by his wife Valerie Davis, Downs, KS; daughter Tobi Davis, Omaha, NE; daughters Shelby Hardesty (John), Minneapolis, KS, Ashley Ubinger (Keith), Edwardsville, KS, and Kylee Davis Adams, Lincoln, NE; brothers Jim Davis (Becky), Branson, MO, Randy Davis, Concord, NC, Scott Davis (Renee), Jamestown, KS, and Robert Davis, Concordia, KS; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his faithful canine companions Jersey and Coco, and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Alice.

It was Steve’s wishes to be cremated and the family will hold a private memorial service.

SALINA - Marvin H. Ebeling, 66, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center. Marvin was born to Edwin and Josephine (Smetana) Ebeling in Marysville, KS on Nov. 11, 1954.&nbsp; He graduated from Hanover High School and went Brown Mackie College in Salina.&nbsp;

Marvin worked at UMB Bank for many years as a controller.&nbsp; He then went to work at Exide as a materials handler and retired in 2016.&nbsp;

 He was a very social person always passing out gifts such as chocolates, his famous chili and BBQ sauce, tacos, pizza, orchid flowers, and was a hot sauce fanatic. &nbsp;Marvin went out of his way to chauffeur friends around and loved to travel the gravel roads looking for old cemeteries.&nbsp; Once, spontaneously, Marvin took a road trip to Maine and surprised his sister.&nbsp; Another time he and a friend went out of their way to find a windmill blade and deliver it to his sister in Marysville.&nbsp;&nbsp; Marvin never bought anything for himself, but always for others. &nbsp;He had a very close group of true friends he really admired.&nbsp; &nbsp;

Marvin is survived by his sisters Barb Friedrichs (Clair “Fred”) of Marysville, Virginia Lemos of Bangor, ME; brother David Ebeling (Eldean) of Hanover; nieces and nephews Allen, Brian (Jill), Clint (Laura) Friedrichs, and Kenneth and Jason Lemos, Brenda Pfrang (Matt), Jeff Ebeling; aunts Helen Ray of Topeka, Clara Ebeling of Hanover and numerous great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.&nbsp;

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday Sept. 20, 2021.&nbsp; A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday Sept. 21 all at Ryan Mortuary.&nbsp; Inurnment will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Clarence Joseph Stroda, prominent cattleman, farmer, devoted husband and loving father was called home to God on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the age of 90. He passed away peacefully at Chapman Valley Manor in Chapman, Kansas after a brief illness. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept 21 at 6 p m&nbsp; in the St. Phillips Catholic Church in Hope, KS with a rosary to start at 7:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday Sept 22, also at St. Phillips, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at the St. Phillips Cemetery Catholic Cemetery with a luncheon to follow the burial at the parish hall. Clarence was born on the family farm near Hope, Kansas, January 6, 1931, to father Vernon Peter Stroda and mother Gladys (Smith) Stroda. The fifth of six children, Clarence worked the family farm and developed a life-long passion for farming and ranching. He graduated from Hope High School in 1948.

He met the love of his life at a dance in Pilsen, Kansas and married Joan M. Jirak in 1950. The couple spent their entire married life on a farm outside Hope, Kansas where they raised five children, went dancing frequently, and enjoyed fishing across the U.S. and up into Canada. 

A man who believed in civic responsibility, Clarence served on the school boards of Navarre Grade School and Dickinson County Community High School in Chapman. He sat on the board of directors for the Navarre Farmers Union Cooperative Association, served on the parish council for St. Phillips Catholic Church and was a longtime member of the Navarre Lions Club. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Ethel and Dorothy who died in infancy, his brothers Max James Stroda and Boyd Vernon Stroda, his “pretty lady” wife, Joan (Jirak) Stroda, beloved grandson Brandon Stroda and son-in-law David MacDonald.

He is survived by his children Gregory and wife Theresa Stroda of Chapman, Patricia MacDonald of Enterprise, Robert and wife TeCoa Stroda of Chapman, Mark and wife Rachel Stroda of Fort Smith, Montana, and Gary and wife Connie Stroda of Hope; grandchildren Angela Stroda, Marcia (Scott) McKenzie, Shannon (Dan) Demory, Melinda Stroda, Hillary (Matthew) Erickson, Matthew and wife Bethanie Krinhop, Katherine (Tony) Hill, Kyle and wife Amber Stroda, Kelly (Terry) Scoby, Nichole (Chris) Kelly, and step-grandchildren, Robin Allison, Matt Hoffman, Casey Hoffman, Ty Seibert, Teagan Seibert, and Tucker Seibert-Stroda as well as 17 great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Winnie will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Geneva, Nebraska with Pastor Jeff Jensen presiding. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Farmer &amp; Son Funeral Home in Geneva, Nebraska. Public graveside services will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Belleville Cemetery in Belleville, Kansas. Memorials are to be directed to the Evangelical Free Church. Winifred Jane Slaughter was born May 14, 1957 to Don and Dorothy Slaughter in Washington, KS and departed this life September 14, 2021 at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings, NE. Winnie attended grade school and middle school in Belleville, KS and graduated from Belleville High School. She attended Cloud County Community College in Concordia, KS after which she started working at MC Industries in Belleville, KS. She later went to work for the company in Geneva, NE where she became plant manager. Winnie dealt with M.S. for many years and had to retire early. Growing up, Winnie attended Central Christian Church in Belleville, KS and after moving to Geneva she became a member of the Geneva Evangelical Free Church where she was very involved with the youth and Vacation Bible School. Winnie was preceded in death by her brother- in - law Don Johannes of Little Rock, Arkansas. She is survived by her parents Don and Dorothy Slaughter of Belleville, KS and sisters Jacque Johannes of Little Rock, Arkansas; Vickie (Rick) Hagen of Belleville, KS and Pat (Lester) Bergstrom of Cuba, KS. Liselotte Serviss, 92, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at The Cedars, McPherson. She was an elementary school teacher, having taught in Moundridge, KS from 1962 through 1992. She was born on October 22, 1928, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, the daughter of Heinrich and Lydia (Henn) Geiger. She attended elementary and high school in Kaiserslautern, Germany, graduated from Kindergarten Nursery Seminary in Landstuhl, Germany, and received a teaching certificate from Bethel College, Newton, KS.

Liselotte was united in marriage to Arnold L. Serviss on July 12, 1974, in Moundridge, KS. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2012. Liselotte was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and American Legion Post #24 Auxiliary. She volunteered at the McPherson Opera House Apt. 6, Trash to Treasure, and at McPherson elementary schools as a reading assistant. Survivors include: daughters Arnell Whited and husband Gary of Hutchinson, KS; Bettina Luttig and husband, Monte, of McPherson, KS; and Lori Hardin of Newton, KS; six grandchildren, Stephanie King (John), Melanie Schulz (Chris), Leslie Shaw (Kerry), Steven Medina (Sakura), Devin Medina, and Helene Medina; two step-grandchildren, Mercedes Lecklider and Tanner Luttig; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Carl Heinz Wolfgang Geiger, and sister Hilda Rosa Luis. She was born on October 22, 1928, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, the daughter of Heinrich and Lydia (Henn) Geiger. She attended elementary and high school in Kaiserslautern, Germany, graduated from Kindergarten Nursery Seminary in Landstuhl, Germany, and received a teaching certificate from Bethel College, Newton, KS. Liselotte was united in marriage to Arnold L. Serviss on July 12, 1974, in Moundridge, KS. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2012. Liselotte was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and American Legion Post #24 Auxiliary. She volunteered at the McPherson Opera House Apt. 6, Trash to Treasure, and at McPherson elementary schools as a reading assistant. Survivors include: daughters Arnell Whited and husband Gary of Hutchinson, KS; Bettina Luttig and husband, Monte, of McPherson, KS; and Lori Hardin of Newton, KS; six grandchildren, Stephanie King (John), Melanie Schulz (Chris), Leslie Shaw (Kerry), Steven Medina (Sakura), Devin Medina, and Helene Medina; two step-grandchildren, Mercedes Lecklider and Tanner Luttig; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Carl Heinz Wolfgang Geiger, and sister Hilda Rosa Luis. Betty Ann (Downs) Chapman, 84, passed away at Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit on September 15, 2021. Betty Ann was born to James Louis Downs and Mary Catherine (Burns) Downs in Bardstown, KY.&nbsp; Betty's mother passed away in 1948, when Betty was just 10 years old.&nbsp; Louis married Vivian Downs who became a kind and tenderhearted mother to Betty. Ronnie Joseph was later born to this union.&nbsp; 

Betty attended college at Nelson County Community College in Bardstown earning her teaching degree.

Betty met Fred Leroy Chapman during his training for the United States Army while stationed at Ft. Knox, Kentucky.&nbsp; They were married in Bardstown on July 18, 1959 and made their home on the family farm in Beloit.&nbsp; Fred and Betty had three daughters, Debbie, Catherine and Susan, and thus the adventures began!&nbsp; There was lots of RV travel, camping, boating, birthday parties, harvests and festivals, reunions, and following their daughters' many interests.&nbsp; 

Betty worked for many local companies throughout Beloit including&nbsp; municipal airport, the Beloit Daily Call, Beloit Elementary School, and as she is best remembered, one of the best cooks at Mitchell Co. Hospital.&nbsp; The job she loved the most was being a loving wife and nurturing mother.

After retirement, Betty and Fred travelled by RV to many places including Michigan, Pennsylvania, Canada, the Dakotas, Colorado, New York, Kentucky and Tennessee.&nbsp; They lived many winters in Arizona, then throughout the Rio Grande Valley in Texas, finally settling in their beloved home at Wagon City in Mission, Texas.&nbsp; There they participated in talent shows, jams, entertainment, dancing, potluck dinners (Mom's famous meatloaf was always a hit), swimming, shuffleboard, golf cart parades and her favorite, bingo!

Mom will always be remembered for her kind and patient spirit, her devotion to Fred and her pure love for her children and grandchildren.&nbsp;&nbsp;

God says, "Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Godspeed, Mom. Tell everyone&nbsp;in heaven hello from us.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws Amos and Alma Chapman; her brothers Donnie Downs and Jimmie Downs; nephew Jimmie Downs; her son-in-law Richie Wallace; her twin stillborn granddaughters&nbsp;and many aunts and uncles who provided love and guidance over the years.

Raymond Stanley Mayers was born August 23, 1918, to John and Maudie 
(Foster) Mayers in rural Clifton, Kansas, the fourth of their five&nbsp;sons.
 &nbsp;He departed this life on September 14, 2021, in Osborne, Kansas, at 
the age of 103.

The family moved to a farm southeast of Osborne in 1927 and Raymond 
attended Mount Hope, a one-room schoolhouse, through eighth grade and 
graduated from Osborne High School in 1935 at the age of sixteen. &nbsp;After
 graduation, Raymond expanded the farming and livestock operation and 
continued to spend his remaining 94 years on the family farm.

He was united in marriage to Laurine Krier on May 24, 1949, and seven
 children were born to this union including&nbsp;one son Joseph who died at 
birth (1957). &nbsp;Raymond was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 39 
great-grandchildren.

As a young man, two of Raymond's brothers were drafted into the 
service which shifted many farm responsibilities to him such as teaming 
up the horses to work the fields, milking cows, feeding livestock, 
harvesting crops, cutting wood, and whatever else needed to be done.

Raymond entertained his family and friends with numerous memories of 
growing up on the farm, experiencing the Stock Market Crash of 1929, the
 Dirty Thirties, grasshopper invasions, the introduction of using 
tractors for farmwork, purchase of the family's first vehicle, the 
installation of electricity on the farm, the Bombing of Pearl Harbor, WW
 II, JFK assassination, and the first man stepping on the moon.

Raymond recalled that during his childhood years his mother played 
the organ for barn dances on the farm. &nbsp;Dancing remained a leisure 
activity and five years ago the granddaughters were honored to dance 
with him at his grandson's wedding dance. &nbsp;He enjoyed playing cards, 
fishing, hunting, and going for drives to view his crops while sharing 
stories about people who lived on the homesteads over the last few 
generations. &nbsp;A well-known trademark of Raymond was him still having his
 thick head of black hair.

Raymond was a member of St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church in Osborne and was a Charter member of the Knights of Columbus.

Raymond is survived by his six children: Cynthia (Larry) Kendig, 
Darlene (Craig) Hadley, Shirley (Kent) Thompson, and Lisa (Doyle) 
Spears, all of Osborne; and Deanna (Rick) Smith, and Stan (Pam) Mayers 
both of Hays, Kansas. &nbsp;Grandchildren are Carrie (Thompson) Rottinghaus, 
Brian Hadley, Laurie (Kendig) Pitman, Jill (Hadley) Guajardo, Lance 
Kendig, Ryan Smith, Jacqueline (Thompson) Remus, Brett Kendig, Scott

(Thompson) Harrell, Andrew Smith, Jenna (Mayers) Meyer, Tana (Spears)

death Sunday, Carlos had a caring heart and offered a ton of love, 
support, and big hugs to his family and his closest friends. 
 J. Carlos was born at Graham County Hospital in Hill 
City, Kansas to Leroy and Joetta Nevins and was one of four children. He
 spent much of his childhood working with his father, Leroy, on the 
family farm. He graduated from Hill City High School and was a Ringneck 
star athlete with many athletic achievements in several sports. His hard
 work and dedication enabled him to play football for Butler County 
Community College, El Dorado and Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, 
and after college played football overseas in Taiwan for the Taipei 
Dragons. After his football career, Los moved to Overland Park, Kansas, 
where he was able to establish a business and build a vast network of 
friends in the community.
 He will be remembered for many wonderful reasons, especially his 
love for muscle cars. Many people will remember the love he shared with 
his mother, Joetta, and for the Dallas Cowboys. He was loved dearly by 
his family and friends and will be greatly missed. 
 J. Carlos was the baby brother to his siblings and is survived by 
his brother, Eric Nevins of Hill City; his sisters: Rhea Darnell of Hill
 City, and Janille Edwards of Salina; and two half-sisters Roberta Yates
 of Ohio and Joyce Harris of Los Vegas. He was also a wonderful uncle 
and is survived by his nephews, nieces, grand nieces, and grand nephews,
 as well as aunts and cousins. 
 He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Joetta, half-brother Melvin Nevins, paternal and maternal grandparents. 
 Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 3:00
 p.m. in the Hill City High School Auditorium, 1 Ringneck Dr, Hill City.

Hillsboro - Walter Norman, 88, died September 14, 2021 at his residence in Hillsboro. He was born July 22, 1933 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Gaylord and Lorene (Frields) Norman. 

He retired from the Wichita Police Department and Cessna Aircraft. He married Betty Gossen April 15, 1966 in Wichita. 

Survivors include daughters Ruth Ann Stevens of Sanford, North Carolina, Betty Jeanne Pack of Alpharetta, Georgia, Dana Deon Hamilton of Wichita; son Rahn William Carlson of St. Paul MN; sisters Elizabeth Ann Armbrister, Doris Jean Sheats, Velma Sue Kelly, Jane Lorene Foster, Mary Alice Kelley; and six grandchildren. 

He is predeceased by his wife Betty Norman in 2014. 

Committal service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Haven of Rest Cemetery located one mile east of Hillsboro.

He was the oldest child, and only son of Gaylord and Lorene "Frields" Norman. His father was a farmer who died young at 33, leaving Lorene with a boy and three daughters, Elizabeth Ann, Doris Jean, and Velma Sue, to raise. Lorene remarried Gilbert Brown a few years later and two more sisters, Jane Lorene and Mary Alice, were born.

The family farmed and the children attended elementary school in the Welch, Hazel and Osage school districts, then all of them attended and graduated from Pryor High School. 

The family added dairying to their farming operations at the time Walter began high school. The family worked long, hard hours farming, gardening, and milking cows during those years. 

Walter played and loved the sport of baseball, and he graduated in May, 1951.

The Korean War was in the second year in 1951. Walter enlisted in the U.S. Navy on June 1, 1951. He served in the Pacific Theater in Japan, Korea, and in Alaska as an airman assigned to Patrol Squadron 42. He was honorably discharged on April 24, 1954.

Walter worked four years at Douglas Aircraft Company, married Laura Sandrock, and two daughters were born to them, Ruth Ann and Betty Jeanne Norman. The marriage ended in divorce six years later. Four years later, he married the greatest love of his life, the former Betty Gossen Carlson. He became the stepfather of her children, Dana Deon and Rahn William Carlson.

Walter joined the Wichita, Kansas Police Department on October 1, 1959. He served as a patrolman, detective, and later as a sergeant and lieutenant in Ppatrol. He retired from police work August 1, 1980. 

He finished graduate school at Wichita State University, and joined the Cessna Aircraft Company, January, 1981, at Wichita, Kansas as a senior industrial engineer and enjoyed a rewarding second career. 

Walter retired the last time on April 1, 2000, to spend his life traveling with his beloved wife, spending time with grandchildren, and living in the Marion County Lake community near Marion, Kansas.

Leroy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 14, 1939, a son of Eleanor (Fuchs) and Bernard Knittig. Leroy attended Assumption Catholic School and graduated from Bishop DuBourg High School, St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, McPherson, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Leroy served in the Missouri National Guard. Leroy William Knittig was united in marriage to Florence Barbara Kraft on July 11, 1964 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, St. Louis, Missouri. The young couple established their first home together in St. Louis. They were blessed with the birth of four children - three daughters, and a son, Valerie, Janice, Gail and Nicholas. In 1977, the family moved to Canton, Kansas. Through the years Leroy worked as a tow truck driver/mechanic for Brouk-Ziegler Motor Company in Arnold, Missouri. After moving to McPherson he began working for Cargill in the maintenance department and retired from Orscheln. Leroy was a member of the McPherson Saddle Club. Leroy enjoyed shooting sports, anything to do with the St. Louis Cardinals or St. Louis Blues, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 57 years, Barbara Knittig, of McPherson, Kansas; his children Valerie Cuthbertson and husband Dale of Canton, Kansas, Janice Holderness and husband Jim of Canton, Kansas, Gail Knittig of Newton, Kansas, and Nicholas Knittig of Seagoville, Texas; his three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. Greg was born in Concordia and attended elementary and high school. After the death of his father, John J. Whitney, Greg and Elnora moved from Houston, TX to Scottsdale, AZ. While in Scottsdale, Greg worked at Bashas’ grocery store for 16 years. In 2010 Greg and Elnora moved to Coeur D Alene, Idaho.

Greg is survived by his mother Elnora (Hammer) Whitney, brother and sister-in-law Mike and Debbie Whitney, and nieces Carrie Whitney and Dana Price.

SLINA –&nbsp;Arthur Warren “Art” Adams, 96, passed away September 12, 2021. Art was born September 27, 1924 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Art married Mary E. Ferrell, August 24, 1946. Mary and Art were high school sweethearts. Mary passed away April 20, 2015.

 Art retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. after 36 years.

He was a lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers of America, American Legion and VFW. Art served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps in the Western Pacific Theater during World War II. Art was a member of Marysville Lodge number 91 A.F. and A.M. He was a plural member of Salina Lodge 60 A.F. and A.M. He has been a member in the order of the Eastern Star. He also joined the York Rite Masons in 1949. Art was a 32nd Degree Lifetime member of the Scottish Rite and lifetime member of the Isis Shrine. He was a member of the Red Cross of Constantine and the Oddfellows Lodge. He was a member of Belmont Boulevard Christian Church.

Survivors include Arthur W. Adams “Dub” wife Carol; grandchildren Amy Diehl (Dustin), Andy Adams (Debbie); great-grandchildren, Braden Diehl, Jayci Diehl, Brooklyn Adams, Rhea Reed (Dellon), and son Liam Reed.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2021 at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, Salina. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Marysville City Cemetery, Marysville, KS. Masks are required. &nbsp;

Art retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. after 36 years.He was a lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers of America, American Legion and VFW. Art served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps in the Western Pacific Theater during World War II. Art was a member of Marysville Lodge number 91 A.F. and A.M. He was a plural member of Salina Lodge 60 A.F. and A.M. He has been a member in the order of the Eastern Star. He also joined the York Rite Masons in 1949. Art was a 32nd Degree Lifetime member of the Scottish Rite and lifetime member of the Isis Shrine. He was a member of the Red Cross of Constantine and the Oddfellows Lodge. He was a member of Belmont Boulevard Christian Church.Survivors include Arthur W. SALINA - Robin Sue Roberts, age 64, left to be with the Lord September 7, 2021. She left us surrounded by family at Salina Regional Health Center. Robin was born September 2, 1957 in Chanute, Kansas to Marjorie and Robert Coble.

 After graduating Salina South High School she worked several different jobs in Salina over the years. She worked at Big Cheese Pizza since it opened, then bought the store in 1996 where she has worked ever since.

We have found peace knowing she has earned her place in heaven. She was known for being extremely hard working, loving God, and her silly yet blunt personality. Every evening she read her Bible. Every Sunday she watched the sermon from Revolution Church.

Robin is survived by her husband Richard Roberts; siblings Russ Coble (Krista), RaDena McAllister (Dan), and Ron Coble (LaLoni); her children Stacy Reed (Chris), Eric DeHerrera, and Kelsi Calhoun (Austin); her grandchildren Hannah Reed, Falon DeHerrera, Evan DeHerrera, Kadon DeHerrera, and Violet Calhoun; and several nieces and nephews including Shea and Sarah McAllister.

She was preceded in death by her parents Marjorie and Robert Coble.

Visitation is at Revolution Church Monday, September 20 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

A memorial service for Robin will be at Revolution Church Tuesday September 21 at noon. &nbsp;

(George Russell) (Lori) Nisbeth, Abilene, KS; daughter Barbara (Doug) Loe, Salina, KS; brothers Clarence Spurgeon (TX), Darrell Spurgeon (OK); sister Jessie Buxman, Lincoln, KS; 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Mike Williamson and brothers Bob, Bud, and David Spurgeon.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the United Church of Bennington, with Pastor Cynthia Smart officiating.

On April 20, 1957, Sharron was united in marriage to P. David Jader in Marquette. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1998. She was a member of Marquette United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include four children, Kathleen Wheeler (Rocky) of Hutchinson, KS, Sheila Jader of Marquette, KS, Deena Kelsey (Scott) of Hillsboro, KS, and Darrin Jader (Joēlle) of McPherson, KS; a brother, Donald Erickson (Rose) of Marquette, KS; eight grandchildren, Brian Jader (Micah), Kristi Sherrer (Matt), Jamie Akinrolabu (Yinka), Tiffany Wheeler, Carmen Hawk (Eric), Bethany Hajek (Alex), Natalie Jader, and Mallorie Jader; 13 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. She graduated from high school in 1969 and from nursing school in 1972 with an LPN degree and worked at the Republic County Hospital. 

She married John Swiercinsky on August 4, 1973. They were blessed with three children, Steven Edmond, Michael John, and Thomas James.

She was an active leader and camp director for 12 years in Girl Scouts and a den mother and cubmaster for Cub Scouts. Hobbies were scrap booking, quilting, genealogy, antiques and landscaping. She was a very talented artist of canvas paintings and a variety of crafts. She had a knack for interior design and enjoyed remodeling the homes she lived in. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Salina, Kansas, a member of United Methodist Women and involved in a number of activities throughout the church.

Lois was preceded in death by her son Steven in 1976, her husband John in 2013, her father Albert Meyer in 2004, and sister Bernice Meyer in 2015.
