Ilo’s life began on April 25, 1935, in rural Wauneta, Nebraska. She is the daughter of Frank and Florence (Adamson) Maris. 

Ilo was a graduate of Wauneta High School and was united in marriage to Wayne Mosiman on April 25, 1960, at the Eden Missionary Church in Wauneta. 

Ilo was a beloved member of the Whitewater Community Church and participated in the Missionary Circle. She enjoyed and grew in her women’s Bible study in Furley. 

Ilo decorated cakes and did lots of babysitting for area families. 

Her greatest joy was her family which includes her husband of 62 years, Wayne Mosiman of Valley Center; her children LeAnn ( Richard) Enns of Hillsboro, Lonnie (Andrea) Mosiman of Valley Center and Larry Mosiman of Bel Aire; grandchildren Colson and Allison Retherford, Mandi (Chris) Ridenour, Penny (Ryan) Foster and Sara (Austin) McAvoy; twelve great-grandchildren; her brother Leland Maris of Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews.&nbsp;

 Ilo passed away on Sunday October 2, 2022, at Wheatstate Manor in Whitewater. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Marvin and Dale Maris. 

Her family will gather with friends on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Lamb Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Whitewater Community Church. She will be laid to rest in Green Valley Cemetery, Furley.

Ilo Valjean Mosiman

Gail Jean Williams was born July 1, 1941, in Montezuma, Kansas, to 
Ralph and Flossie (Leighton) Perkins. She passed away October 4, 2022, in
 Salina, KS at the age of 81.

Gail attended high school at Hays 
High School and graduated in 1959. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s
 at Pittsburg State University and Master’s degree from Fort Hays State 
University. She was a teacher in Goodland, KS for many years but also 
taught in Pittsburg and St. Francis, KS. Gail and John David “Dave” 
Williams shared 30+ years together, then on March 18, 2006, they were 
united in marriage in Wilson, KS .

Gail was an avid reader and 
enjoyed quilting, even after losing her vision she switched to 
audiobooks and continued to quilt. She also enjoyed gardening, 
traveling, and listening to podcasts. She loved keeping in touch with 
her friends and was an animal lover. Gail was most proud of being a 
grandma. She was an active “get down on the floor and play” kind of 
grandma and loved doing experiments, playing trucks, and playing endless
 games of UNO with them.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents
 and brothers, Larry and Don Perkins. She is survived by her husband, 
Dave of Rexford, KS; children: Robert Walter of Sundance, WY, Lee (Anne)
 Walter of Everett, WA and Diane (Jason) Frazier of McPherson, KS; 
grandchildren: Callie Walter, Gavin Frazier, and Nolan Frazier, and 
sister-in-law, Wanda Perkins of Pittsburg, KS.

Memorial services 
will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 11:00AM at the Rexford 
Community Church. Burial in Rexford Cemetery.

united in marriage in Wilson, KS .Gail was an avid reader and 
enjoyed quilting, even after losing her vision she switched to 
audiobooks and continued to quilt. She also enjoyed gardening, 
traveling, and listening to podcasts. She loved keeping in touch with 
her friends and was an animal lover. Gail was most proud of being a 
grandma. She was an active “get down on the floor and play” kind of 
grandma and loved doing experiments, playing trucks, and playing endless
 games of UNO with them.Gail was preceded in death by her parents
 and brothers, Larry and Don Perkins. She is survived by her husband, 
Dave of Rexford, KS; children: Robert Walter of Sundance, WY, Lee (Anne)

Lois Ferm, 94, of Lindsborg passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at home.  Lois was born January 16, 1928 in Halstead, KS to the late Gustav and the late Ella (Penner) Wiebe. 

 She married Landvis Ferm on January 18, 1947 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Lindsborg and was a member throughout her life.  

Lois was confirmed at the First Mennonite Church of Halstead. 

 She came to Lindsborg her senior year and graduated at Lindsborg High School. 

 When the children were all in school, she went work as a CMA at Bethany Home.



Lois was involved in many clubs and organizations including Westside Club, American Legion Post #140 Auxiliary, Johnathan Club, card club, Jolly Mixers, and Prairie Sunbonnet Doll Club.  She was also a 4-H and Girl Scout Leader.



She is survived by daughters Leanne Martin of Griffin, GA, and Lori Johnson of Sunrise Beach, MO; son Lesley Ferm of Roxbury, KS; grandchildren Jesse (Shana) Koorse, Kyrrha Martin, Jace (Lindsay) Martin, Julie (Alan) Ramsdale, Patrick Cox, Parker Johnson, and Brennan Johnson; and eight great-grandchildren.

Eldon was the eighth of nine children born to David Breckbill&nbsp;Hoover and Susan Page Hoover on the family farm in rural Detroit, Kansas northeast of Abilene, Kansas.

Eldon grew up in the Moonlight Community and attended the Moonlight Grade School. He graduated&nbsp;from DCCHS (Dickinson County Community High School, Chapman, Kansas) in 1947. 

On October 16,&nbsp;1949 he married Nelda Marie Marts and to this union were born four children, Susan Marie, Sheryl&nbsp;Christine, Connie Jane and Steven Craig.

As a youth, Eldon attended the Bethel Brethren in Christ Church north of Detroit, Kansas and was a&nbsp;member of Sutphen Mill Christian Church, Chapman, Kansas.

Eldon farmed northwest of Chapman, Kansas for 70 years and loved farming and tending the land. He&nbsp;always said he would farm until he was 90 years of age. He was able to plant, harvest and truck his last crop of wheat to Chapman Coop Elevator in 2016 at the age of 87. He said retirement for farmers was&nbsp;farming. During his farming career, Eldon served as a board member on several farming cooperatives.

Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Susan Marie Hoover, his brothers Paul Hoover,&nbsp;Dean Hoover, Dale Hoover and Robert Hoover, his sisters Irene Hoover, Miriam Nichols, Viola Boles and Doris Larson. Also preceding him in death were his sisters-in-law, Jean Hoover, Helen Hoover and Phyllis&nbsp;Hoover; his brothers-in-law Loren Nichols, George Boles and John Larson.

Gladys S. Naylor, 104, died peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2022, at The Cedars, McPherson.&nbsp; 

She was a high school teacher, executive with Church Women United, and also was a director with the YWCA.

Gladys was born on February 5, 1918, in Navarre, Kansas, the daughter of Benjamin Hoover and Margaret (Hoffmann) Shank.&nbsp; 

On May 10, 1942, Gladys was united in marriage to Kurtis Friend Naylor in Navarre, Kansas.&nbsp; They were married 58 years before his passing on February 17, 2001.

She was a graduate of McPherson College and a member of the McPherson Church of the Brethren.

He married Delane Poovey in Newbury, KS on August 13, 2005.&nbsp;

Travis earned his bachelor’s degree in animal science from Kansas State University and he was a member of the K-State Livestock Judging Team and Farmhouse Fraternity. He was former president of Kansas Red Angus Association, member of the Ellsworth County Fair Association, and was active in 4-H as a kid and into his adulthood with his own children. He was a rancher and horseman and a member of the Geneseo United Methodist Church.

Travis is survived by his wife Delane Janssen and children Wade, Pate, Case, and Mesa of Geneseo; parents Jack and Roxie Janssen of Geneseo; brother Ross Janssen (Jacob) of Benton; sister Sydney Shepheard (Matt) and children Jolie, Thane, and Rhett of Pomona; parents-in-law Waldo and Marilyn Poovey of Paxico; brother-in-law, Travis Poovey (Tammy) and their son Tyler of Paxico; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parental grandparents Willard and Lois Janssen and maternal grandparents Martin III and Edna Hochman.

home in Littleton, Colorado, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at the age of
 74.

He was born June 14, 1948, in Holdrege, NE the son of Wayne and Luella
 (Russell) Smith. &nbsp;He was a Phillipsburg High School graduate and served
 in the United States Army.

James is survived by his two sons: Jamie Smith of Salina, Kansas and 
Chris Woerpel of Thornton, CO; brother Russell Smith of Phillipsburg; 
sisters: Marlene Peters and husband Forrest of Phillipsburg, Jeanne 
Gantz of Beloit, Mary Lasiter and husband Jim of Blairsburg, IA, and

He married his high school sweetheart, Marilyn Lovendahl, in July 1956.&nbsp; 

In November 1956, Larry joined the Air Force and served for 20 years, retiring in 1977 as a Senior Master Sergeant.&nbsp; He was awarded four air medals and was named Airman of the Year twice.&nbsp; He received the Meritorious Service Medal for heroism, saving men from a burning jet.&nbsp; Larry was also received the Oak Leaf Cluster from the 4080th Strategic Air Wing.&nbsp;

 While in the Air Force, he received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from the University of Alaska and a master of science degree while in Evanston, Il.&nbsp; 

After retiring from the Air Force, Larry worked for AT&amp;T for 15 years writing training manuals.&nbsp; 

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Compton, his parents and a sister.

 She died Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Mitchell County Hospital at the age of 79.

In July, 1964, she was united in marriage with Larry Humphrey. Three sons, Jeff, Greg, and Rick were born to this union.

Vivian worked over 40 years for Fred Jones Manufacturing in Oklahoma City. She loved her many small dogs she had over the years.

She was so proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the Waconda Lake and found it to be a place she could go and relax.

Vivian was a quiet person and a good listener, and will be missed by so many who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Jeff.

Left to mourn her passing are her sons Greg and wife Janell, and Rick; her sister Georgia Gwen Putman; brother Billie Hugh Lomax and wife Karen; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five nieces; three nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

She has been cremated and she had wished to be buried next to her parents in Prairie Grove Cemetery north of Cawker City.

Jon's life began on January 20, 1967, in Dallas, Oregon. He is the son of Orley and Karen (Garrison)Friesen. 

Jon is a graduate of Hillsboro High School. 

He was united in marriage to Dawn Jenkins on September 7, 1999, in Salina. 

Jon was employed at Pizza Hut in Herington for many years and loved his job. 

He truly never met a stranger. Jon had a heart of gold and helped wherever he could. He had many routines, starting every morning with his coffee and bible. If Jon had your phone number, you were likely to get a text every morning and evening, and on Saturdays he would always call his dad and his sister Kim. Spending time with his wife, watching football, K-State being his favorite, game shows, and playing with his nephews were some of his favorite things to do. 

Most importantly, Jon loved Jesus and would often ask questions about scriptures he didn't understand. 

He participated in many different Special Olympic events, basketball being his favorite. 

He took pride in wearing his cowboys boots, hat and looking sharp.

 Jon is survived by his wife Dawn Friesen of Herington, father Orley Friesen of Oregon, mother-in-law Susan Buchwald of Herington, father-in-law Tom (Jean) Jenkins of New Mexico, sister Kimberly (Scott) Simms of Oregon, sister-in-law Kristi (Kurt) Michaelson of Oklahoma, nieces and nephews Crystal Beynon, Becky Connolly, Kaleb Michaelson, and Kyle Michaelson and four great-nieces and nephews. 

Jon passed away at his home on Thursday, September 29, 2022. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, two brothers and a sister. 

His family will gather with friends on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the Faith Covenant Fellowship, Herington at 11 a.m. for his memorial service.

He is the son of Orley and Karen (Garrison)Friesen. Jon is a graduate of Hillsboro High School. He was united in marriage to Dawn Jenkins on September 7, 1999, in Salina. Jon was employed at Pizza Hut in Herington for many years and loved his job. He truly never met a stranger. Jon had a heart of gold and helped wherever he could. He had many routines, starting every morning with his coffee and bible. If Jon had your phone number, you were likely to get a text every morning and evening, and on Saturdays he would always call his dad and his sister Kim. Spending time with his wife, watching football, K-State being his favorite, game shows, and playing with his nephews were some of his favorite things to do. Most importantly, Jon loved Jesus and would often ask questions about scriptures he didn't understand. He participated in many different Special Olympic events, basketball being his favorite. He took pride in wearing his cowboys boots, hat and looking sharp. Jon is survived by his wife Dawn Friesen of Herington, father Orley Friesen of Oregon, mother-in-law Susan Buchwald of Herington, father-in-law Tom (Jean) Jenkins of New Mexico, sister Kimberly (Scott) Simms of Oregon, sister-in-law Kristi (Kurt) Michaelson of Oklahoma, nieces and nephews Crystal Beynon, Becky Connolly, Kaleb Michaelson, and Kyle Michaelson and four great-nieces and nephews. Jon passed away at his home on Thursday, September 29, 2022. He is preceded in death by his mother, two brothers and a sister. Jon Marvin Friesen

Brad’s life began on September 23, 1954, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Marion. He is the son of Gilbert and Phyllis (Allen) Turk.

 Brad is 1973 graduate of Marion High School, and he served his country in the United States Navy, serving aboard the U.S.S South Carolina, where he was the captain’s personal barber. &nbsp;Brad was an original plank owner of the U.S.S South Carolina. 

In 1979, he was united in marriage to Peggy Lurz. They had Christian, Jeffery, Theodore, and later was united in marriage to Luretta Hewitt on October 22, 1999, gaining Johnie, Kacey. 

Brad was employed by Cessna (Textran) Aircraft as a skin finisher and was a welding instructor for Flint Hills Tech. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, remodeling his home, working in the yard, and welding projects, including log splitters, many dollies, trailers and even a cherry picker.

Brad most especially enjoyed being a Papa to &nbsp;his grandchildren. 

Brad is survived by his wife Luretta of Marion, his mother Phyllis (Jess) Erickson of Pilsen; children Jeffery Turk of Marion, Ted (Samantha) Turk of Marion, Christina Eveland of Wichita, Johnie ( Angela) Evans of Topeka, and Kacey (Dustin) Burson of Wichita; grandchildren Melvin, Brandon, Christian, Easton, Jaxton, Archie, Dalton, Bailey, Brye, Lexus , Abby and Dakota Shae; siblings Gary (Donita) of Baldwin, Tony of St. Louis, Bill (Wendy) of Sedgwick, and Shane of Kansas City.&nbsp;

Brad passed away at his home on Sunday October 2, 2022. 

He is preceded in death by his father Gilbert andsister Teresa. 

Brad’s family will gather with friends on Wednesday, October 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at Yazel Megli Funeral Home. His Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 6th&nbsp;at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, Marion. 

Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to Good Shepherd Hospice.

He is the son of Gilbert and Phyllis (Allen) Turk. Brad is 1973 graduate of Marion High School, and he served his country in the United States Navy, serving aboard the U.S.S South Carolina, where he was the captain’s personal barber. &nbsp;Brad was an original plank owner of the U.S.S South Carolina. In 1979, he was united in marriage to Peggy Lurz. They had Christian, Jeffery, Theodore, and later was united in marriage to Luretta Hewitt on October 22, 1999, gaining Johnie, Kacey. Brad was employed by Cessna (Textran) Aircraft as a skin finisher and was a welding instructor for Flint Hills Tech. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, remodeling his home, working in the yard, and welding projects, including log splitters, many dollies, trailers and even a cherry picker.Brad most especially enjoyed being a Papa to &nbsp;his grandchildren. Brad is survived by his wife Luretta of Marion, his mother Phyllis (Jess) Erickson of Pilsen; children Jeffery Turk of Marion, Ted (Samantha) Turk of Marion, Christina Eveland of Wichita, Johnie ( Angela) Evans of Topeka, and Kacey (Dustin) Burson of Wichita; grandchildren Melvin, Brandon, Christian, Easton, Jaxton, Archie, Dalton, Bailey, Brye, Lexus , Abby and Dakota Shae; siblings Gary (Donita) of Baldwin, Tony of St. Louis, Bill (Wendy) of Sedgwick, and Shane of Kansas City.&nbsp;Brad passed away at his home on Sunday October 2, 2022. SALINA –&nbsp;John R. Gilpin, 82, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022.&nbsp; He was born in Hutchinson to Samuel and Dorothy (Wackler) Gilpin.

Johnny owned and operated COP, Central Office Products, in Salina for many years and was in sales his entire life.

He was a dedicated member of the Salina Isis Shriners and their Recorder for 15 years.&nbsp; He was also involved with the Shriners Hospital and prided himself on the extensive work he did helping children get the medical treatment they needed.

Johnny never met a stranger and loved to spend time with his family and friends.&nbsp; He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Alli Baskerville.

Johnny is survived by his wife Gladys Gilpin; sons Randy Gilpin (Lisa), Rick Gilpin (Holly); grandchildren Abbi Bohlmann (Richard), Chelsea Gipson, Macy Graves (Aaron), Megan Gilpin; great-grandchildren, Austin, Sydni, Madison; great-grandchild Porter; and siblings Larry Gilpin (Linda), Gary Gilpin (Cathy), Marilyn Maes (Jim).

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. with family present from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Ryan Mortuary.&nbsp; Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 7th at First Lutheran Church, Dorrance, KS.&nbsp; Burial will follow in Dorrance Cemetery.

With deepest sorrow, we announce that&nbsp;Cole Darran Rodenbeek, age 39, our beloved father, son, brother, fiance, family member and friend passed away on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 in a car accident.&nbsp; 

Cole made his grand entrance into the world on December 25th, 1982.&nbsp; He was known to say that he wanted to make sure everyone remembered his birthday.

Cole grew up in Salina, but spent time living in Reno, NV and Denver, CO amassing friends from across the country.&nbsp; 

In 2010, he married Kyrsten (Beckmann) and they had two beautiful children, Payge and Marley, who were and are the lights of their lives. &nbsp;

You can't explain Cole, you have to experience Cole." This quote, by one of his friends, perfectly sums up the man. He lived and loved large. 

In 2020, he and fiance Meredith Frazier moved to Lawrence and bought a home in the country.&nbsp; They quickly turned that home into a farm fully stocked with goats, chickens, dogs, cats, children, and lots of love and laughter.&nbsp; There was always a friend or two, or twenty, stopping by, and Cole welcomed them all. His most enduring gift was his ability to spin a yarn.&nbsp; He could stretch an ordinary tale into a two hour narrative full of truths, but mostly half truths. Cole loved to wow people and make them laugh. What Cole loved most of all was to be surrounded by his children. His proudest moments involved Payge and Marley.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;

Cole is predeceased by grandparents William and Evelyn Cole of Salina; Betty Rodenbeek of Salina;&nbsp; great-grandparents Nathan and Dorothy Butcher of Salina; and Edward and Ruby Rodenbeek of Scott City.

Cole will be missed everyday by his fiancée, Meredith Frazier and her two children, Jack and Kincaid of the home; his son, Payge Rodenbeek, of Bennington; his daughter, Marley Rodenbeek, of Bennington;  his mother, Barbara Nitz and stepfather, Rod, of Lawrence; fathers, Michael Rodenbeek, of Salina, Paul Lowe and wife Terry, of Reno, NV; grandfather, Jim Rodenbeek, of Scott City; brothers, Noah Rodenbeek and wife Renee, of Lawrence, Benton Bates and wife Amanda, of Denver; sister, Alexandria Keith and husband Troy, of Lawrence; sister, Caitlin Sidener, of Mission, KS; brother, Max Lowe, of Reno, NV; sister, Marina Lowe, of Seattle, WA; sister, Chloe Vaugirard and husband Loic, of Miami, FL; sister, Lilly Bristow of Brookville; step brothers, Karl Nitz and wife Stacy, of Frisco, TX, and Ryan Nitz and wife Alicia, of Falmouth, Maine.

Cole loved and was loved by his many nieces and nephews.

It would be remiss not to include all of Cole’s friends, whom he loved most fiercely.

 </figure><a href="https://www.ryanmortuary.com/obituary/Cole-Rodenbeek">Obituary for Cole Darran Rodenbeek | Ryan Mortuary</a><a href="https://www.ryanmortuary.com/obituary/Cole-Rodenbeek"></a>December 25, 1982 ~ October 1, 2022 (age 39)With deepest sorrow, we announce that&nbsp;Cole Darran Rodenbeek, age 39, our beloved father, son, brother, fiance, family member and friend passed away on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 in a car accident.&nbsp; Cole made his grand entrance into the world on December 25th, 1982.&nbsp; He was known to say that he wanted to make sure everyone remembered his birthday.Cole grew up in Salina, but spent time living in Reno, NV and Denver, CO amassing friends from across the country.&nbsp; In 2010, he married Kyrsten (Beckmann) and they had two beautiful children, Payge and Marley, who were and are the lights of their lives. &nbsp;You can't explain Cole, you have to experience Cole." This quote, by one of his friends, perfectly sums up the man. He lived and loved large. In 2020, he and fiance Meredith Frazier moved to Lawrence and bought a home in the country.&nbsp; They quickly turned that home into a farm fully stocked with goats, chickens, dogs, cats, children, and lots of love and laughter.&nbsp; There was always a friend or two, or twenty, stopping by, and Cole welcomed them all. His most enduring gift was his ability to spin a yarn.&nbsp; He could stretch an ordinary tale into a two hour narrative full of truths, but mostly half truths. Cole loved to wow people and make them laugh. What Cole loved most of all was to be surrounded by his children. His proudest moments involved Payge and Marley.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Cole is predeceased by grandparents William and Evelyn Cole of Salina; Betty Rodenbeek of Salina;&nbsp; great-grandparents Nathan and Dorothy Butcher of Salina; and Edward and Ruby Rodenbeek of Scott City.Cole will be missed everyday by his fiancée, Meredith Frazier and her two children, Jack and Kincaid of the home; his son, Payge Rodenbeek, of Bennington; his daughter, Marley Rodenbeek, of Bennington; his mother, Barbara Nitz and stepfather, Rod, of Lawrence; fathers, Michael Rodenbeek, of Salina, Paul Lowe and wife Terry, of Reno, NV; grandfather, Jim Rodenbeek, of Scott City; brothers, Noah Rodenbeek and wife Renee, of Lawrence, Benton Bates and wife Amanda, of Denver; sister, Alexandria Keith and husband Troy, of Lawrence; sister, Caitlin Sidener, of Mission, KS; brother, Max Lowe, of Reno, NV; sister, Marina Lowe, of Seattle, WA; sister, Chloe Vaugirard and husband Loic, of Miami, FL; sister, Lilly Bristow of Brookville; step brothers, Karl Nitz and wife Stacy, of Frisco, TX, and Ryan Nitz and wife Alicia, of Falmouth, Maine.Cole loved and was loved by his many nieces and nephews.It would be remiss not to include all of Cole’s friends, whom he loved most fiercely.Cole’s mother is putting together a book for his children to include memories of him from his family and friends.&nbsp; If you would like to contribute, please email your memories to barb.nitz@gmail.com or mail them to her at 4611 Hearthside Dr., Lawrence, KS&nbsp; 66049.A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, October 15th at the Bennington Bible Church, 824 N.  </figure><a href="https://www.ryanmortuary.com/obituary/Steve-Schmidt">Obituary for Steve Schmidt | Ryan Mortuary</a>November 12, 1944 ~ October 2, 2022 (age 77)Steve "Burger" Schmidt, 77, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at his home in Salina, KS surrounded by family and friends.&nbsp; Steve was born November 12, 1944, the oldest son of AR and Viona Schmidt and grew up on the Schmidt family farm outside of Woodbine, KS with his younger brother, Tracy.&nbsp; He graduated from Dickinson County Community High School in 1963 then joined the U.S. Navy.&nbsp; While stationed in San Diego, CA, he met the younger sister of his Navy buddy (I didn’t think you were supposed to date your friend's sisters but…) and eventually brought her back to Kansas.&nbsp; In July of 1968 he married Janeece M. Patch of Colman, SD and moved to Salina, KS where he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement in 2007.He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Janeece, two children, Monica Craig (m. Charles Craig), and Gordon Schmidt (m Dr. Cari Ahlers Schmidt), two grandchildren, Sam and Wyatt Schmidt, and his brother Tracy Schmidt (m.
