Darin G. Vance, 48, Minneapolis, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at his home.
Darin was born, March 7, 1974, in Salina to Ronald Vance, Salina, and Shelley Buchanan, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Darin is preceded in death by his father Ronald “Ron” Vance.
He is survived by his wife Janice; his children Brody and Shelby of Minneapolis; his mother Shelley A. Buchanan; his bonus mom Janny J. Vance; and his sister Shannon K. Vance.
Also left behind are multiple family and friends whom he loved and cherished.
Darin is a graduate of Salina High School South and Salina Vo-Tech where he learned the art of welding, which he made a great career as a Project Manager for Exline, Inc. Darin took pride in his work and the men on his team.
Darin loved his family, friends and his community; he was supportive of all. He enjoyed having gatherings at their home with his wife, smoking meat with his buddies, working on projects, especially with his children, driving the combine during harvest, making so many impromptu memories with family and friends in the shop, always saying “come on out.”
Darin lived life to the fullest and will be deeply missed.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m.., Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Bennington Bible Church, 824 N. Nelson, Bennington, KS.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Minneapolis Junior/Senior High Ag Department or Athletic Department and may be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
