Betty J. Eastman Hallowell, the daughter of Bert Edwin Shenaman and Myrtle Mae (Bergstrom) Shenaman, was born March 18, 1929 between Talmo and Wayne, Kansas and passed away on June 16, 2022 at the Republic County Hospital at the age of 93 years, 3 months, and 16 days.

Betty lived in the Republic County area her entire lifetime.&nbsp;&nbsp; As a child, she worked for other people with farm work and assisted her Grandpa with whatever needed to be done on the farm.&nbsp;&nbsp;

She was united in marriage to Dale L. Eastman on August 12, 1950 and to this union were born Robert, Roberta, Randy, Darrell, and Lillian.&nbsp; He preceded her in death.

Betty was united in marriage to Frank Hallowell and there were seven children of Frank's: Bob, Kent, Dennis, Ron, Marilee, Jeff, and Shawn.&nbsp;&nbsp; Betty loved all of her children and grandchildren very much.

Betty worked at the Kravemore 81 Café for many years, the Dinner Bell Café, and later at MC’s in Belleville.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Betty owned and operated her own café,&nbsp; Mom and Pops, on the east side of the square in downtown Belleville.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She then owned &nbsp;and operated the café in Munden, Kansas until she retired.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Betty later moved to the Buffalo Apartments in Belleville.&nbsp;&nbsp; She made cakes and cinnamon rolls for the other apartment residents as long as her health would allow.

She was preceded in death by her son Darrell Eastman,&nbsp; her parents Bert and Myrtle Shenaman; first husband Dale Eastman; second husband Frank Hallowell;&nbsp;&nbsp;brother William Shenaman; two sisters, Violet Shenaman-Anderson, and Margaret Shenaman-Skinner; granddaughters Genevee and Casandra, and grandson Kerry Eastman.

Betty is survived by her children Robert (Linda) Stone, of Topeka, KS, Randy (Marsha) Eastman, of Salina, KS;&nbsp; Roberta (Bill) Davis of White Bluff, TN; Lillian&nbsp;(Lloyd Rice) Willenborg of Munden, KS;&nbsp; Marilee Curbin of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Hallowell, Dennis Hallowell, and Ronald Hallowell all of St. Joseph, MO, Kent Hallowell of St. Louis, MO,&nbsp; Jeff Hallowell of Olathe, KS, and Shawn Hallowell of Manhattan, Kansas; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the&nbsp;Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS with Pastor Sandra Jellison-Knock officiating.

Interment will be at the Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, Kansas.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21st at the funeral home for visitation.

Debra M. (Rightmeier) Mahaffy passed away on June 14, 2022, in Wichita, at the age of 69.

Debra Marlene (Rightmeier) Mahaffy, age 69, formerly of Mankato, Kansas, went to be with her Lord at the Catholic Care Center in Bel Air, Kansas, surrounded by her family, on June 14, 2022.

She was born on July 29, 1952, at the Beloit (Kansas) Hospital to Glenn and Ina (Love) Rightmeier. She was educated in Mankato, and graduated from Mankato High School in 1971. Following high school, Deb worked at the Jewell County Hospital. On July 13, 1974, she was united in marriage to Delvis “Butch” Mahaffy, in Mankato. Over the years, Deb and Butch took care of 13 foster children in their home.

After Butch was discharged from the military, they enjoyed travelling together. Deb enjoyed drawing, painting and other art.

She is preceded in death by her husband Butch, parents Glenn and Ina, sister Adelia Hedden, mother-in-law and father-in-law Donald and Edith Mahaffy, brother-in-law Stanley Mahaffy, and a nephew.

She is survived by her brother Richard Rightmeier of Mankato, brother-in-law Bill Hedden of Winfield, Kanas, several cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21st, 2022, from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m., with family greeting friends from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Melby Mortuary in Mankato.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. at Melby Mortuary in Mankato, with Pastor Rod Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Mankato.

Ray was born on May 11, 1930, in Washington, OK.&nbsp; He graduated from high school in Maysville, OK.&nbsp; &nbsp;

He served in the United States Air Force.

On April 15, 1950, Ray was united in marriage to Winonah Frances White in Gainesville, TX.&nbsp; She preceded him in death on February 28, 1986.&nbsp; He married Leona Mabel (Jacobson) Whited on April 3, 1997, in McPherson, KS.&nbsp;

Survivors include his wife Leona; children Mike Bratcher (Lou Rice) of Houston, TX, Kent Bratcher (Rhonda) of Yukon, OK, Gary Bratcher (Donna Taylor) of Dallas, TX, Gary Wayne Whited (Arnell) of Hutchinson, KS, Ron Whited (Carolyn) of Grifton, NC, and Wanda Weyand (Robert) of McPherson, KS; a brother, Garland Bratcher (Vivian) of Maysville, OK; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his mother Eula Bratcher, and siblings Joyce Carlberg, Wanda Johnson, and Burnis Bratcher.

Efren Arceo, born July 9th 1944 to Hijinio Arceo and Angelina Delgado at Ciénega Grande, Monte Escobedo, Zac. He passed away June 16th, 2022 surrounded by his wife and children. Most of his life he lived in Abrego, Fllo. Zac. and Salina, KS. He was dedicated to his family and working his land, but horses were his real passion. Everything done by Campesino was done with commitment and dedication.

Married Feb. 8th, 1969, he and Margarita raised 12 children: Enrique, Alma, Azucena, Jorge, Rebeca, Ma. Luisa, Tomas, Rosalva, Efrén, Jesús, Yeni and Abelardo. He enjoyed the company of 35 grandchildren and 9 great-grandkids.

Rosary will be Sunday, June 19th at 7:00 p.m. and Mass will be on Monday, June 20th at 10:00 a.m., both taking place at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, KS.

DALLAS, TX -&nbsp;Darlene Jeanette (Anderson) Harris-Lindsley, 88, passed away peacefully in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.&nbsp; She was a person of deep faith, and her love of family was precious.

Daughter of Arthur and Zelma Anderson, Mom lived on the farm in Republic County, Kansas, attended a one-room schoolhouse, and graduated from Courtland High School. She remembered her mom preparing many delicious Swedish dishes and wonderful pies with cherries picked from their orchard. She also recalled her chores on the farm, collecting eggs, milking the cows, and helping with the harvest.

After high school graduation, Mom went on to attend Kansas Wesleyan University where she was a cheerleader and a homecoming queen. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English and met our dad, Robert Harris. She later earned her master’s degree in secondary education from Wichita State University.&nbsp; Mom and Dad were married 46 years and she taught 38 of those years.&nbsp; She taught English at Salina South High School and then at Derby High School from which she retired in the early nineties. Dad passed away in 2001.

In 2012, Mom was reacquainted with and married Bob Lindsley, her college friend from 60 years prior to that time. They built a home together when they were 80 years old and lived a life of love until his passing in 2017.

Mom was an avid KU and K-State sports fan in addition to her alma mater Kansas Wesleyan University. She could talk a good game and knew most of the players’ names. She was a member of PEO, D L Chapter; Theater Guild; Kansas Wesleyan Auxiliary; Helianthus Club; Phi Kappa Honor Society; and of course, “the Y”.

Survivors include a son, Bruce, and daughter-in-law Lisa Harris of Dallas; daughter Lori and son-in-law Mike Payne of Wichita; granddaughters Mikala and husband Brandon Deck of Wichita; Gracie Harris and Eva Harris of Dallas; great-grandchildren Everett Deck and Cora Page Deck of Wichita; and special caretaker Lynn Kindall of Solomon.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 21st all at Ryan Mortuary, 137 North 8th Street, Salina.&nbsp; Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Verlin worked for many years as a building operator for the USD 305 school system. Outside of work he loved spending time in the outdoors, camping, fishing, and telling stories around the campfire.

He was preceded by his parents and brother Steven Stegman.

Verlin is survived by his siblings Zandra Rotrock (Chester), Wanda Budke (John), Brenda Nitsch (Danny) and many loving nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022 with a rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. all at Ryan Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 22nd at Ryan Mortuary. Burial will follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery.

Raymond C. Morgan, age 73, died suddenly on June 14, 2022, at his home in Talmage, KS. He was born on January 24, 1949, in Pueblo, CO., the son of Richard and Doris (Halfman) Morgan. Ray married Mary Jo Karn in 1969, divorcing in 1979. Ray married Linda (Holt) Morgan on April 19, 1980.&nbsp; &nbsp;

Ray spent his early childhood in Pueblo, CO moving to Tribune, KS to complete high school.&nbsp; Ray served in the U.S. Army for four years specializing in Military Police.&nbsp; Upon honorable discharge, Ray moved back to Kansas and continued his law enforcement career serving the public as a police officer/deputy for the Goodland Police Department, Garden City Police Department, and Finney County Sheriff’s Department. In 1982. Ray took the position as undersheriff in Kearny County, KS serving the citizens of Kearny County in that position until his retirement in 2004.

Ray was an active life member in the Kansas Peace Officers Association for many years including serving as a district governor, governor emeritus and chair of the roster committee.&nbsp; Ray earned his associate degree in criminal justice from the Garden City Community College.

An animal lover, Ray was on-call deputy for all snake and crawly creature calls in Kearny County, rescuing either the snake or the resident.&nbsp; Following retirement, he spent many volunteer hours driving the Finney County Humane Society van transporting rescue animals to no-kill facilities in Kansas and Colorado. Slamming on the brakes to rescue a turtle crossing the road was common practice. Motorcycle trips, camping, 4-wheeling and spending time with family and friends was a major part of Ray’s life.

Ray is survived by his wife Linda of the home, daughters Raquel Chavez and great-grandson Damyen, Brooke Morgan and Scott Stecklein, Ryan and Cortney Morgan, grandchildren Raif, Vryah, Rade Morgan, Chris (Marcos) Chavez, Kyle Chavez, Taeler and Alec Rosales, great- grandchildren Easton, Kylie, and Lincoln Chavez.&nbsp; &nbsp;

Predeceased by daughter Tisha Morgan, sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Harold Hoffman and parents.

The memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Church, 1300 N. Vine Street, Abilene, KS. The service will be livestreamed at the folllowing links:

Courtney Lynn Frobenius, 74, of Parkville, MO., passed away April 11, 2022.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;He was born April 11, 1948, in Hays, KS.

Courtney Lynn Frobenius, dutifully served in the infantry of the U.S Army during the Vietnam war. In his years of service, he received five valor awards, the Silver Star, three Bronze Stars with “V” Device, and an Army Commendation medal with “V” Device. He was also awarded a Combat Infantrymen’s Badge, Airborne Wings, Ranger Tab, and the Purple Heart. Courtney has made it known that the greatest honor he received was being commissioned a Second Lieutenant of Infantry when he was just 19 years old.

After the Vietnam War, he graduated from Wichita State University, and managed airports. After managing airports, he spent 10 years as an owner of an advertising company,&nbsp;“Frobenius and Associates.”&nbsp;&nbsp;He established Vietnam-Indochina Tours in 1994, which took veterans and others to Vietnam and the Indochina region.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bruce R., and Charline L. (Utt) Frobenius.

Survivors include his daughter Juliana Ramage and husband, Brandon, of Bisbee, AZ., two brothers, Richard Frobenius of California, and Charles Frobenius of Alaska, and two grandchildren, Magnus Ramage and Ambrose Ramage.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, June 20, 2022, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Courtney has made it known that the greatest honor he received was being commissioned a Second Lieutenant of Infantry when he was just 19 years old.After the Vietnam War, he graduated from Wichita State University, and managed airports. After managing airports, he spent 10 years as an owner of an advertising company,&nbsp;“Frobenius and Associates.”&nbsp;&nbsp;He established Vietnam-Indochina Tours in 1994, which took veterans and others to Vietnam and the Indochina region.He was preceded in death by his parents Bruce R., and Charline L. Thomas John “Tom” Bohm, 78, Hays, died Thursday, June 16, 2022, at his home.

He was born November 22, 1943, in 
Salina, the son of Claire Louise (Schwerman) Bohm.&nbsp; In 1960, he 
graduated from Sacred Heart High School.&nbsp; He was united in marriage to 
Debbie Walters on June 30, 1978, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hays, 
and were married nearly 44 years.&nbsp; Tom owned and operated Kansas 
Precision Contact Lens, Bohm’s Bike Shop, and Bohm’s Coffee Shop.&nbsp; He 
was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a former member of the Hays 
Optimist Club, and was co-founder and coach of the Hays Striders Track 
Club.&nbsp; Tom enjoyed bicycling, visiting with everyone, and teaching 
religion at Kennedy Middle School and TMP-Marian High School.&nbsp; He was an
 avid golfer, devout Catholic, and most of all, loved his family.

Survivors include his wife Debbie of 
Hays, a son: Matthew Bohm and wife Chelse of Overland Park, two 
daughters: Sarah Mackey and husband Todd of Hays and Claire Ludes and 
husband John of Salina, 12 grandchildren: Heather Tipton and husband 
Joh, Thomas “TJ” Glass, Anthony Bohm, Alexis Mackey, Carter Bohm, Kaylee
 Bohm, Peyton Mackey, Michael Mackey, Greyson Mullen, Boe Ludes, Zane 
Sims, and Addison Sims, and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother,
 three sons: Thomas, Sean, and John Bohm, and two daughters: Dawn Bohm 
and Stacy Bohm-McCann.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at

Sadie Jo Louise Arnet, 27, of Russell, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, June 10, 2022.

Sadie was born March 30, 1995, in Hays, Kansas, the daughter of Fred and Angie (Kaufman) Arnet. She grew up in Russell and graduated from Russell High School in the Class of 2013. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor Degree in Social Work. She then attended and graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. While in school she had an internship with St. Francis Ministries; after school she continued her employment with St. Francis Ministries as an Integration case worker and for the last year or so was an Adoption Specialist.

Sadie was known for her great sense of humor, her enjoyment of fishing, traveling, swimming and spending time at the lake, collecting music concert band t-shirts, being with her family and friends, and taking care of her families and “her kids” at work. She had no children of her own, but had hopes of adopting several sometime in the future.

Surviving family include her parents, Fred and Angie Arnet of Russell, Kansas; three sisters, Rose Bender, Lee Arnet and Erica Arnet all of Russell, Kansas; three brothers, Nicholas Arnet, Elias Arnet and Benjamin Arnet all of Russell, Kansas; nephew Jaxon Arnet-Prewitt; and four nieces, Vanessa Arnet-Lazono, Alexandra Arnet-James, Madelynn Arnet-James and Isabella Arnet-James.

Sadie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Norma Jean Rupp and her paternal grandparents Charles and Anna Arnet.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 24, 2022, at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary. A Celebration of her Life will be held with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, June 24, 2022, at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler.

Steven J. Thomas, age 53,&nbsp;of Hays, Kansas, died&nbsp;Friday, May 27, 2022, in Barstow, California. &nbsp;

He&nbsp;was born&nbsp;November 9, 1968, in Hays, Kansas, to John Harland and Patricia Ann &nbsp;(Leikam) Thomas.&nbsp;&nbsp;He married Carrie Christine (Silva) on February 14, 2009 at Las Vegas, Nevada.&nbsp;

He was a truck driver for over 30 years working for L-K Wireline and Acid in Hays, UPS Freight of Salina, and recently a driver for The Fleener Brothers Trucking&nbsp;of Carthage, Missouri.&nbsp;&nbsp;He grew up in Hays and was a 1988 graduate of Hays High School. &nbsp;He&nbsp;had a love for fast cars, loud music, fishing with his grandchildren, target shooting with his children, and time with his family. &nbsp;He was a great friend, a loving husband,&nbsp;an amazing father, and a proud Papa, wonderful&nbsp;brother, and a funny uncle.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Survivors include his wife, Carrie Silva-Thomas, Hays, KS; his children, Brandon Silva and fiancé Alessia Radeker,&nbsp;Hays, KS; Jordan Silva and wife, Tressidy, Hays, KS;&nbsp;Rhiannon Silva, Hays, KS; Nicholas Silva, Hays, KS; Elizabeth Silva-Thomas, Plainville. Margaret Louise Duffey, the daughter of Millard Berkley Shadduck and Mary Catherine (Heater) Shadduck, was born March 24, 1932 in rural Republic, Kansas and passed away on June 15, 2022 at the Smith Center Health and Rehab, Smith Center, Kansas at the age of 90 years, 2 months, and 21 days.

Margaret grew up in rural Republic, Kansas, graduating from Republic High School in 1950.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On February 27, 1951, she was united in marriage to James R. Duffey and to this union were born&nbsp; Lori Ann, Staci Jo, and Tina Louise.

Margaret worked at the REA office in Concordia after her marriage. Margaret later worked for the Civil Service of the United States Air Force as an office clerk as the couple moved overseas to Japan and were stationed in many locations following his military career, among them being Altus Air Force Base from 1963-1966, Laramie AFB, Wyoming from 1966 until 1968 and later, Compton, California, and Brighton, Colorado.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After 1970, the couple settled in Mankato and later Formoso, moving to Belleville, KS in 1992.

Margaret was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and also a member of the Eastern Star, and the First United Methodist Church and UMW in Belleville, KS.&nbsp; &nbsp;She also was active in EHU.

She was preceded in death by her parents Millard and Mary Shadduck; her husband James R. Duffey on April 2, 2012; brothers Gerald, Adron, and Richard Shadduck; and sisters Lois Lundblade and Roberta Partridge.

Margaret is survived by three daughters,&nbsp; Lori (David) Barnes of Smith Center, KS,&nbsp; Staci (Rick) Allen of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Tina (Kevin) Mills of Chesapeake, VA;&nbsp; eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce (Marvin) Poppe of Chester, NE; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2022 at the&nbsp;Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS

Interment will follow at the Washington Cemetery, rural Republic, Kansas.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home.&nbsp;&nbsp; The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Monday prior to the service.

He married Kathy Hall October 27, 1990 in McPherson. 

Survivors include wife Kathy Dirks of Hillsboro; sons Shon (Kim) Buster of Galva, Heath Wayne Buster of Centennial, Colorado; daughters Colleen (Doug) Weinbrenner of Hillsboro, Sheri Lynn Wilson of Squenatady, New York; sister Theresa (Ray) Remmers of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He attended Clearwater Schools until his senior year when he attended Norwich High School to play basketball. He graduated in 2007 from Norwich High School. Jordan’s dream from the time he was young was to go to Kansas University; he attended for one year and his love for KU remained his lifetime passion. In 2009 he went to San Diego, CA with Campus Crusade for Christ. They were required to obtain employment and he ended up working at Two Brothers Restaurant. When everyone else returned to Kansas, Jordan stayed and continued working. During this time, he met Matt Whipple. Jordan traveled from coast to coast following Chef Whipple to pursue his love of cooking, from a catering company to cooking at a backyard BBQ at the home of Phillip Rivers (probably the highlight of his career). He loved being in a kitchen. He always represented Kansas wherever he went and was often called “Kansas.“ Jordan’s favorite pastime was sitting in his chair next to his dad and kitty cats, Prince and Ari, watching sports. He was an avid Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry, and Chargers fan, and most importantly a KU Jayhawks Superfan. He always enjoyed talking sports with his Grandma Phyllis Epp, who could usually match his sports knowledge. Above all, he loved his “baby sister” Carby. They talked every evening and had what they both called “brother-sister” talks which were deemed confidential (and may have been talks about their parents!) There were certain movies they could only watch together, A Goofy Movie, and Night At The Roxbury. One day while eating and playing at Burger King, they received a stuffed animal they immediately called “Arthur.” Whoever was having a tough time would get to be in possession of Arthur. During high school years he mostly stayed with Carmen. When Jordan went to San Diego, Carmen was sure to give Arthur to Jordan to take with him. Arthur was even mailed back and forth at times for whoever needed him. What is amazing, Jordan lost many things, his drivers license, SS card (both multiple times), books, clothes, but he never lost Arthur. Needless to say Arthur will now stay with Carmen to get her through the hard times knowing her big brother will always be with her. Jordan never ended a phone call without saying “I Love You.” He never let anyone leave without a big teddy bear hug. We are all going to miss Jordan and his hugs. Jordan went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 13, 2022, at the age of 33. We know we will see him again soon in a better place.

Wayne Blue, 75, of Hesston, Kansas, passed away at 2:51 PM, Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 while in the company of family, at Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. Wayne was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 27, 1946, a son of Lucille May (Baldridge) and Richard Morris Blue, Sr. Wayne attended the Arlington grade schools and High School, Arlington, Texas. Wayne enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and honorably served as a Sgt. in the Vietnam War. He received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Metal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w2*. Following his honorable discharge he attended and graduated from Santa Ana Junior College, Santa Ana, California. After moving to McPherson he then attended and graduated from McPherson College, McPherson, Kansas. Wayne Blue was united in marriage to Lauren Susan Ewertz on August 12, 1966 at Fullerton, California. The young couple established their first home together in El Toro Marine Corps Base, El Toro, California. This union was blessed with the birth of three daughters, Nona, Michelle, and Heather. The family moved to Yorba Linda, California in 1972 until 1981 when the family moved to McPherson, Kansas. Wayne was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Canton, Grace Lutheran Church, McPherson, and Zion Lutheran Church Newton, Kansas where he served in many capacities. He was baptized into Christ and confirmed on December 20, 1970. Wayne was a jack of all trades and a master of none. He worked as a screw inspector for a company in Santa Anna, California, a supervisor for the Alpha Beta Creamery in California, was an independent roofer, worked for Alcor as a supervisor, Swick Guth in customer service, and became an independent insurance agent, all of McPherson. Wayne was a member of the American Legion Post 24, McPherson, Kansas and served as commander as well as serving in many other capacities. Wayne enjoyed following his children and grandchildren in their sports and activities, gardening, fishing, woodworking and making stained glass windows, working on his home and others with many projects until his health would not permit him to do so, and spending time with his family ,especially his grandkids. The grandkids loved teasing Grandpa by calling him Howie or Moses.
