Dennis R. Henkel passed away Sunday November 6, 2022 at his home in Chapman at the age of 75. He was born April 3, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Sylvester and Lorraine (Roesch) Henkel.
Following high school, Dennis attended college and later served with the Maryland State Police of over 28 years before retiring.
On November 9, 1968 Dennis was united in marriage to Sally Clatterbuck in Baltimore. Dennis loved spending time with his family and reading but his true passion was bass fishing,
He is survived by his loving wife Sally of the home, son Michael and his wife Mary Henkel of Chapman, grandchildren Christopher of Gilbert, Arizona, Dustin of Cave Creek, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Wayne.
Services for Dennis will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Londeen-Overlease Funeral Chapel in Chapman with Pastor Ken Trickle officiating.
