Theatre Salina warned the public via a social media post on Thursday about the growing threat of ticket scams targeting their productions, including the theatre's upcoming highly anticipated Disney's The Little Mermaid.

Theater Salina emphasized the importance of purchasing tickets exclusively through their official website or their authorized ticketing provider, etix.

Tickets can be purchased online at salinatheatre.com or by calling the theatre's box office at (785) 827-3033. Box office hours are  11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The theater highlighted that any tickets acquired through sources other than their designated ticket portal could be invalid. This warning extends to individuals who may appear to be selling tickets on social media platforms, even in cases where the seller claims they are unable to attend the show and are looking to transfer their tickets.

Theatre Salina said it strongly advises potential ticket buyers to protect themselves by verifying the legitimacy of the ticket purchase process. The theater encourages anyone with doubts to contact their box office directly for confirmation before making any transactions.

For secure ticket purchases, patrons are directed to use the link provided on the Theatre Salina website: salinatheatre.com/tickets. Additionally, the box office can be contacted at 785-827-3033 for further assistance.
