On Monday The Chiefs gave tight end Travis Kelce a significant raise with a new two-year contract
A source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that the deal is worth $34.25 million with $17 million fully guaranteed for this season and most of the rest to be guaranteed on the third day of the 2025 league year.
Kelce, who has been selected to nine consecutive Pro Bowls and is a four-time first-team All-Pro, had 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns last season.

From the gridiron to the diamond Monday also saw the release of both KCAC championship tournament brackets, and both K-Dub teams will participate in Great Bend this week
The softball team snuck into bracket play following a sweep of Bethany College last Wednesday, they will be the 7-seed facing Ottawa at noon this Wednesday
Meanwhile the Coyote baseball team will look to double down after winning a KCAC regular season title, facing Evangel on Wednesday evening as this year’s 1-seed
