The Salina Senior Theater Project (SSTP) will open its fourth season with Carol Nimmons's comedy "Mernie's Little Hoax" on Friday, May 3, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 4, at 3 p.m. at the Salvation Army 1137 North Santa Fe.
"Marnie's Little Hoax" is about a rich widow living in the Golden Gate retirement village. She is concerned because she has no known heirs to whom she can leave her fortune. She devises a hoax to see who among her so-called friends might be candidates in her will. When her fake demise backfires she becomes the victim of crazy shenanigans plotted by a network of unpredictable retirees.
