Moody, alternative rock band Bootleg Mercy plans to take the City Lights Stage from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, as Salina Downtown's last Live First Friday of 2023.

City Lights Stage, located at Ash Street and Santa Fe Avenue, hosted other local bands this summer, with Bootleg Mercy to finish out the season.

According to its website, the Kansas-based hard rock group began as a cover band in the early 2010s but released its first original EP, or "extended play," in 2014 titled "Pictures."

Since then, the music group has continued to release music that garnered international accolades and played in the number-one spot for Los Angeles-based Indie Star Radio’s Top 21 for four straight weeks.
