Marvin L. Daniel, Sr., 53, of Hutchinson, KS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. He was a truck driver for Sun Valley Trucking. He was born November 17, 1967, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of Chester “Chet” S. and Patricia “Pat” K. (Cushing) Daniel. Marvin was known as Messy Marvin by family and friends. He was a truck driver all his life. He had been to all 48 states plus parts of Canada during his travels. He could give directions to almost anywhere you wanted to go without even looking at a map. Marvin enjoyed taking his boys on the road with him. Marvin is survived by: his three sons, Marvin Daniel, Jr. (Paige), Brandon Daniel, and Austin Daniel, all of Hutchinson, KS; step-daughter, Kimberly Daniel of Hutchinson, KS; father, Chester “Chet” Daniel of Inman, KS; eight siblings, Jane Mullanix (Bob) of Sterling, CO, Michael Daniel (Arlene) of McPherson, KS, Melvin Daniel of McPherson, KS, Martin Daniel of Omaha, AR, Michelle Hanson of McPherson, KS, Mark Daniel (Janet) of Hutchinson, KS, Monique Mullen of Hutchinson, KS, and Sheldon Daniel of Hutchinson, KS; and two grandchildren, Tobby Dean Daniel and Ruby Jean Daniel; and many extended families and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia “Pat” Daniel, and a brother, Mitchel Daniel. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 8, 2021, at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson. A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at the North Inman Cemetery, Inman. Shirley lived most of her life in Ellsworth, KS where she was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. She married Kenneth William Raney, Jr. on January 10, 1953 in Ellsworth.

&nbsp;Shirley is survived by sons, Ken Raney (Deborah) of Cape Girardeau, MO; Ty Raney (Laurinda) of Wichita, KS; Steven Raney (Nanci) of Riverside, CA: and Phillip Raney of Wichita; daughter, Susan Raney Barnes (James) of San Jacinto, CA; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; sister, Lola and brother, Charles.

Viola Marie White was born July 15, 1924 in Randall, Jewell County, Kansas to Leroy Bird and Clara Esther (Wolfe) White. She was the 6th&nbsp;of 7 children born to her parents – her siblings were Mary Esther, Bessie Velma, Vernon Lee, Calvin Roy, Pearl Mae, and Margaret L. White. She died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, Kansas at the age of 96.

She married Donald Howe Kincheloe May 7, 1946 in Osborne, Kansas. They established their home in Cawker City, where one son, Michael Howe was born.

Viola worked throughout her life at Richardson’s Manufacturing, Farmers and Merchants State Bank, Girls Industrial School of Beloit, and CO-OP in Osborne.

Viola had strong beliefs and commitments throughout her lifetime, especially about what was right and wrong.

She loved plants – gardens and produce of fresh vegetables, indoor plants, and the aroma of the lilac bushes each spring. Handiwork or crochet wasn’t for Viola due to the fact it couldn’t be done fast enough for her. As she finished each project, she was eager to get on with the next one.

Viola was a member of the United Methodist Church of Cawker City. She was also a member of the choir, where she could sing those beautiful old sacred songs. Viola loved to sing. She was a very special person.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don in 1980; sisters, Mary Esther, Bessie Velma, Pearl Mae, and Margaret; and brothers, Vernon Lee and Calvin Roy.

Viola is survived by her son, Michael Howe and significant other, Jennifer Johnston; grandson, Bryan Michael; great granddaughter, Baylea Michele; and great great grandchildren, Jaxson and Emma Grace.

Private graveside services will take place at Ionia Cemetery. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Solomon Valley Hospice or Post Rock Humane Society.

Leanna loved camping and since Jesus has promised that he went ahead to prepare a place for her, we think just maybe, he prepared a camper with her name on it by a breathtaking heavenly lake where the fish are large and plentiful.&nbsp;

Along with fishing and camping, Leanna loved nothing more than being in the presence of her family. Whether it was a grandchild’s event, a special time in her children’s lives or a holiday gathering, these were the highlights of her life. Leanna was a generous soul, and she was known for secretly helping out, not only family and friends in need, but complete strangers too. She had the ability to see the good in people and was an amazing judge of character. Leanna loved working with her hands. Her small stature and gender did not get in the way of her removing a motor from a vehicle, jacking up her father’s house and fixing the plumbing, or creating a prayer garden complete with ponds, statues and a beautiful look out point to enjoy the sunset.&nbsp; She also dedicated 35 years to working at El Dorado National, along with being an CNA, EMT, and an owner of a gas station.

She left her legacy in the hands of her husband of 23 years, Steve Ptacek, Minneapolis, KS; her children Doug (Deana) Betts and children Ally, Lauryn and Tyler, Beloit, KS; Kim (Tony) Shorb and children Trenton, Bristol, Seth, Morgan and Elysia, Randolph, KS; Michelle (Mark) Johnson and children Halle, Kya and Hunter, Bennington, KS; Chris Ptacek and children Brendyn and Skyler, Bennington, KS; Sarah (Shannon Johnson) Ptacek and children Grant, Addi and Harper, Salina, KS; and John Ptacek, Bennington, KS; brothers Lester (Theresa) Ullom, Beloit, KS; Larry Ullom, Ionia, KS; and many nieces and nephews.

Virginia Kay Baxa was born on March 8, 1955 in Beloit, KS.&nbsp; She departed this life on February 1, 2021 at the age of 65.&nbsp;

&nbsp;Virginia was the first-born child of Jerome and Velora Kay Boden.&nbsp; She spent her early childhood years in Solomon Rapids.&nbsp; She attended Solomon Rapids country school until the fifth grade, when she moved to St Johns School in Beloit, where she graduated in 1973.&nbsp;

She then attended Beloit Vocational/Technical School and earned a degree in practical nursing. It was there she met the love of her life, Daniel Baxa.&nbsp; Married in 1974, they spent 38 happy years together, until Dan’s untimely death in 2012.&nbsp; In 2013, she moved to Wamego, KS to live with her daughter Amy and her family until her passing.&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp; Virginia never met a stranger.&nbsp; She always had a kind word for anyone, and an empathic nature that helped countless people in her travels. Virginia had a servant heart, whether it was her Waconda Healing practice where she touched so many or lending an ear to listen to someone’s life story. For over 38 years, you could always find Virginia and her family at Waconda Lake almost every weekend.

Virginia leaves behind 5 children: Amy Schwein and her husband Eric of Wamego, Jason (Jake) Baxa of Beloit, Luke Baxa and his Wife Erin of Kingman, KS, Jerrod Baxa and Catrina Wilson of Beloit, and Levi Baxa of Salina.&nbsp; Grandchildren Gwendolyn, Emily, Carter, Glen, Henry, Owen, Daniel, and Cecilia.&nbsp; Her brothers Don, Ron, and Larry Boden.&nbsp; Her sisters Karlene Baxa and Theresa Anderson, and her mother-in-law Theresa Baxa.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her parents Jerome and Kay, husband Dan and father-in-law Alfonso.&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp; “Oh Virginia,” she was one of a kind.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Thursday, February 4 at St. John's Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. A rosary service will be at 9 AM Thursday at the Church. The casket will remain closed. Memorials may be given to the Family Expense Fund or St. John's Schools.

It was there she met the love of her life, Daniel Baxa.&nbsp; Married in 1974, they spent 38 happy years together, until Dan’s untimely death in 2012.&nbsp; In 2013, she moved to Wamego, KS to live with her daughter Amy and her family until her passing.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Virginia never met a stranger.&nbsp; She always had a kind word for anyone, and an empathic nature that helped countless people in her travels. Virginia had a servant heart, whether it was her Waconda Healing practice where she touched so many or lending an ear to listen to someone’s life story. He was born May 18, 1921 on a farm in rural Sherman County, Nebraska, near Loup City.&nbsp; He was the son of Ralph D. and Charlotte (Schleicher) Rivers.&nbsp; He married Elvera Olson on July 17, 1948.&nbsp; They had two children, Douglas (Christine) Rivers of Shoal Creek, AL and Carole (Eric) Johnson of Concordia, KS.&nbsp; After Elvera’s passing in 1980, he married Minnie (Mickey) Barber in Phoenix, Arizona on April 13, 1983.&nbsp; They lived in Phoenix and Concordia prior to moving to Manhattan in 1989. &nbsp; &nbsp;

He is survived by his wife Mickey, his two children, Doug and Carole, and two grandchildren, Brianna and Andrew Johnson of Manhattan and Lawrence, Kansas.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ann (Rivers) Brasch, and his first wife, Elvera.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;

Ben attended a one-room school until his family left the farm and moved to Seward, Nebraska where he graduated from Seward High in 1938.&nbsp; Upon graduation, he began working for J.C. Penney, Co. as a part-time salesman in Seward.&nbsp; He later worked in Norfolk and Beatrice, Nebraska and managed stores in Norton (1955-62) and Concordia (1962-1981), Kansas. &nbsp;

He was probably most proud of his service in the U.S. Navy during WWII.&nbsp; He enlisted and was trained in communications at the University of Chicago and Treasure Island, CA prior to going to sea.&nbsp; He was aboard three different liberty ships and went around the world carrying supplies and munitions to ground troops in the European and Pacific Theaters.&nbsp; He sailed every major ocean except the Arctic with ports of call on every continent except Antarctica.&nbsp; &nbsp;

In retirement, he and Mickey traveled by land and sea and he enjoyed going to football games and cheering on the Wildcats. &nbsp; &nbsp;

Funeral services will be Friday, February 5, 2021at 10:00 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Manhattan.&nbsp; Graveside Services with military honors will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday February 5, 2021 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Concordia, Kansas. &nbsp;

Elva Mae (Crane) Henne, 99, of Roxbury passed away January 30, 2021 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, KS.  She was born on April 3, 1921 to the late William L. and Elizabeth (Heintz) Crane, on their farm southwest of Roxbury.  She was a lifelong McPherson County resident.  She attended and graduated from the Enterprise School a mile north of the family farm.

Elva married Ivan Henne, December 29, 1946 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Salina.  She was a dedicated house wife and mother.  Elva was active in her church and community.  She was a member of several church ladies groups over the years.  She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the McPherson County Historical Society, and she sat on the Roxbury Library Board.

Survivors include her sons: Larry Henne (Elaine), of Holyrood, KS and Lowell Henne (Jacque), of Paxico, KS; sister: Bettie Gillenwater, of Wichita, KS; as well as 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Elva is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Ivan; son: Dwight Henne; brothers: Dolphy, Royce, and Leslie Crane; and sisters: Mariam Serviss, Nettie Macklin, and Bonnie Redger.



The family will greet friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.


A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, at Valley View Cemetery, Roxbury, with Pastor Nancy Modin officiating.

Randy Rundle, 62 of Clay Center, died Monday, February 1, 2021 at his residence. &nbsp;Randy was born on February 6, 1958 at Clay Center, Kansas, the son of Harlan and Martha (Jackson) Rundle.&nbsp; He grew up in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS.&nbsp; Randy was inducted into the Clay Center Tigers Hall of Fame in 2015.&nbsp;

Randy attended Manhattan VoTech and graduated with a degree in printing, later working for Ag. Press and Master Teacher Company.

Randy invented a 6 volt alternator and then went on to invent forty more products for antique cars.&nbsp; In 1985, he started Fifth Avenue Antique Auto Parts in his garage, eventually opening a store in downtown Clay Center in 1993.

He met Denise Durrant in 2008 and the couple married in 2018 after he convinced her to move to Clay Center and call it home.&nbsp; Randy felt strongly about the future and growth of Clay Center and wanted to see it prosper.&nbsp; His final wish was to make old cars more reliable and fun to drive.&nbsp; Randy has left an impact on the antique car community that has been felt around the world.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Dorothy Mae Delker, age 96, departed for her heavenly home January 21, 2021. Dorothy was born July 28, 1924 to Albert and Cora Graves in Salina; she was one of six children. Dorothy married Lester L. Delker September 3, 1943 and they had four children.

Dorothy was a woman of faith, President of the United Methodist Women, a member and President of the Friendly Neighbor Club, a beautician in her home shop for 38 years, and a 50 year breast cancer survivor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, her husband, and her daughter, Deanna Feltes.

She is survived by three children, Dave &amp; Marge Delker, Lowell Delker, Carol &amp; Jim Patterson, and Son-in-law, Alan Feltes, eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

A memorial for Dorothy will be held at a later date.

Ivalee Stella Kalb, age 85, of Salina, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2021.

Ivalee, daughter of Arthur and Myrtle Olson, was born on December 1, 1935. She grew up in Smolan, Kansas. She graduated high school from Lindsborg High and spent many years working as a nurse's aide. She was a member and confirmed at the Salemsburg Lutheran Church.

In her younger years, Ivalee enjoyed spending her free time dancing. She also enjoyed fishing, working on puzzles, playing bingo and watching westerns. You could often find her cheering on her two favorite teams, the Chicago Cubs and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Ivalee enjoyed visiting with her many friends and family. She was also quite the animal lover. She has had several cats over the years and her dog, Oreo, held a very special place in her heart.

Ivalee is survived by her three daughters: Roberta (Jim McCollim) Miller, Doris Strickland and Vickie (Kevin) Bell; four grandchildren: Saul Miller, Robert (Amy) Miller, Arthur Strickland and Richard (Tiffany Miller) Strickland; and seven great-grandchildren: Sean, Victor, Dustin, Austin, Gracie, Aiden, Ellie, Alex and Liam, and a special friend, Angel Farris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Arthur Olson, and her daughter, Angelina Marie.

There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the Salemsborg Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Julia Weber, age 59, of Hays, Kansas died Monday, February 1, 2021, at her home.

She was born June 7, 1961, at Houston, Texas, to Dr. Joseph Balthaser OD and Margaret Ann (Burton) Brungardt.&nbsp; She married Mitchell Weber on April 17, 1982, in Victoria, Kansas.&nbsp; Her and Mitch recently celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary with their family surrounding them.

She managed her husband’s Weber Photography business he started in 1980 for 20 plus years as well as sub teaching for USD 489 and surrounding towns.&nbsp; She attended Fort Hays State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education in May of 1984.&nbsp; She grew up in Victoria, and was 1979 graduate of Victoria High School.&nbsp;

She enjoyed the flexibility of being able to be home as much as possible while her children were young and take on extra jobs when she could. After her older children were grown and out of the house, she accepted a teaching position at St. Mary’s Catholic grade school in Ellis, KS in 2005. Shortly after she started working, she was diagnosed with an incurable autoimmune disease that primarily affected her lungs (CREST syndrome). Julie finished out that year teaching, and quickly became homebound as she needed oxygen 24/7.

Her prognosis was not good and agreed to have chemotherapy treatments which she finished in 2007.&nbsp; She found joy watching her four oldest children marry and babysitting her three grandsons. When her second grandson, Kayden, was diagnosed with liver cancer as a toddler, she begged for God’s mercy to save him, and he received a miracle beating the cancer. She was the biggest prayer warrior and prayed for many people close and distant. She was a member of Christian Mothers and Perpetual Adoration for 28 years. Julie was an enduring advocate for the Pro-Life movement, and attending many marches and rallies.&nbsp; She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church for 39 years. The last few years of her home-bound life, she enjoyed visits from her family, baking, praying, and watching old westerns.

Survivors include her husband. Mitch Weber, of the home; two sons, Aaron Weber and wife, Karen Aviles-Weber, Pensacola, FL; Bryan Weber, Hays, KS; four daughters, Rebecca Winkelman and husband, Dace, Victoria, KS; April Tiernan and husband, Kerry, Hays, KS; &nbsp; Rachel Ruder, and husband, Blake, Hays, KS; Bethany Weber and boyfriend, Jeremy Pasek, Hays, KS; three grandchildren, Michael, Kayden and Colton Tiernan; her mother, Margaret Ann Brungardt, Victoria, KS; three brothers, Charles Brungardt, Victoria, KS; Dan Brungardt and wife, Janet, Benton, KS; Al Brungardt and wife, Brenda, Augusta, KS; two sisters, Laurie Fajardo and husband, John, Augusta, KS; Sister Mary Elizabeth Brungardt C.P., Ellisville, MO.

She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Joseph A. Brungardt; and an infant sister, Catherine Mary Brungardt.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February, 5, 2021, at The Basilica of St. Fidelis, Victoria, Kansas.&nbsp; Burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria, Kansas.

A visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Thursday, and from 9:00 to 10:45 A.M. Friday. all at The Basilica of St. Fidelis.&nbsp; A vigil service and a Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, at the church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Divine Vine Mercy Radio in care of the mortuary.

Reva M. Smith, 95, of Abilene, passed away January 31, 2021 at Village Manor in Abilene. 

She was born September 27, 1925 the daughter of Denzil K. and Margarett J (Jones) Morehouse. Reva grew up in the Dickinson County area, attending the local schools and graduated from Dickinson County Community High School in Chapman in 1943. 

On August 1, 1965 she was united in marriage to Quentin Claude Smith. He preceded her in death January 12, 2013. 

Reva worked as a rural school teacher for several years. She also worked at Hallmark Card Company. She was a member of the Ray Avenue Baptist Church in Salina. 

Reva is survived by her daughter, Auralee Scofield of Abilene. Son, Dennis Botz and wife Jeanette of Greely, Colorado. Grandchildren, Shellie D. Goff and husband Brandon; Brent N. Botz and wife Lindsey; Brandon Botz and wife Laryssa. Seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mary H. Rees of Auburn and Rose Ann Turnbull of Topeka. Three nephews and one niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Quentin and one granddaughter, Jenna L. Botz.

Funeral services for Reva will be 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Danner Funeral Home with Rev. John Day officiating. Burial will follow at Abilene City Cemetery. 

The family suggests memorials be given to the Ray Avenue Baptist Church of Salina. Memorials may be dropped off or mailed to Danner Funeral Home, 501 N. Buckeye, Abilene, Kansas 67410.

He served in the United States Air Force and worked for UPS for 26 years. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Jolene (Gentry) Reed; four sons, Dave Reed (Shana), of Overland Park, KS, Mike Reed (Darcy), of Assaria, Eric Reed, of Salina, Eric Clayton (Leslie), of Salina, daughter-in-law, Julie Griffin of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and sister, Bonnie (Charles) Walters, of Silsbee, Texas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Amanda, Bria, Gunar, Sierra, Kipra, Espyn, Amanda, Megan, and Nick. He is preceded in death by a son, James Griffin and sister, Beatrice Reed. September 9, 1936 - January 29, 2021 Eva Maria Lankhorst, 84, of Salina, passed away Friday, January 29th, 2021. Eva was born in Bandung, Indonesia (Formerly the Dutch East Indies), on September 9, 1936, a daughter of the late Christine Adele (Poth) and Henk Gortz. After World War II, her family moved to Holland, where she finished high school and then attended the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Eva married Han Lankhorst and moved to the United States in 1960, eventually settling in Salina, Kansas in 1977. She became a U.S. citizen in 1984. Eva found her church home at Trinity United Methodist Church. Her many contributions included summer art classes, Indonesian dinners, the community art wall, and her greatest passion-the organic community garden. Eva was an accomplished painter, having two winning pieces featured in the Presbyterian Homes Art is Ageless calendar. She has paintings in homes and businesses around the country. As a child, Eva knew how to find beauty and joy in the simplest of life's experiences, including taking every opportunity to enjoy all that the natural world has to offer. It surrounded her in childhood and was later captured in her many paintings. As an adult, Eva was often described as being a child at heart-honest and genuine, and always finding the good in people. She enjoyed all the things her children enjoyed: collecting, building snow castles, and nurturing the creative spirit through music and art. Eva had great love for her family, as well as the many close friends who were treated like family. In the words of her husband, Han, "Eva had the biggest heart you can imagine. She loved and accepted everyone. In turn, she was loved by all who knew her." Survivors include her husband, J. Han Lankhorst; two daughters, Carola Collier (Michael), of Santa Clarita, California, Christel Brosi (Paul), of Salina, two sons, Alex Lankhorst (Julia), of Salina, Les Lankhorst (Lori), of Salina; and a sister, Constance Vandervegt, of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by grandchildren, Christopher Collier, Jordan and Shelbi Lankhorst, Monica, Caitlin, Sarah, Christian and Dominic Brosi; and great grandchild, Lyric Jacobs. She is preceded in death by her brother, Henk Gortz. Cremation has been chosen and services will be private. Steven Bradley Reed, 54, of Russell, Kansas, died on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at his home.

Steven was born on October 12, 1966, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Thomas Milton and Keitha Ann (Morgan) Reed.&nbsp; He grew up in central Kansas, where he went on to work primarily in the oil and manufacturing industries. He moved to Russell in 1983, where he would remain for the next two decades. During this time, he was married and raised two children, Clinton and Katie. He later resided in Hoisington, Lindsborg, and Great Bend, eventually returning to Russell. He was in his element when he was in the garage working on a vehicle or camping and fishing at a nearby lake or river.&nbsp;

Surviving family include his children, Clinton Schuckman and Katie Reed, and their mother Cindy (Schuckman) Reed all of Russell, Kansas; brothers Scott Reed of Lewis, Kansas, Stan Reed and wife Kelly of Great Bend, Kansas, Henry Reed of Salina, Kansas, Earl Reed and wife Melinda of Lake City, Tennessee, sister Stacy Lawrence and husband Randy of Great Bend, Kansas, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Dole-Specter Conference Center at Fossil Creek Hotel and Suites in Russell, Kansas on Saturday, February 6th, from 2-5 PM. Friends and family are welcome to come and go as they please.&nbsp;

Cremation has been decided on by the family.&nbsp; Arrangements will be handled by Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas.&nbsp;

Vernon Denning, age 70, of WaKeeney, Kansas, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, at Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 12, 1950, in Hays, KS, the son of Gabriel and Beata (Pfannenstiel) Denning. Vernie attended Hoxie Grade School until the age of 11 when the family moved to WaKeeney, where he attended school until his sophomore year. He then attended Olathe School for the Blind in Olathe, KS.

Upon graduation Vernie lived in Wichita, KS for a short period of time where he worked with the blind making brooms. Following a stroke, he returned home to WaKeeney. Vernie loved music and played the accordion. He liked watching baseball, car races, and gameshows on TV.

Vernon is survived by three brothers, Gerald (Beryl) Denning, of Lewisville, TX, Cecil Denning of Salina, KS, and Robert (Linda) Denning of Hays; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters-in-law, Twila Denning and Cleo Denning.
