Samantha
 was born in Roseville, California, on November 22, 1964, a daughter of 
Kaaren Jean (Christensen) and Michael Frederick Allen, Sr.

Survivors
 include her parents, Kaaren and Michael Allen Sr., of Fremont, 
California; daughter, Brandi Serbanich (Steven); son, Jason Allen; 3 
grandchildren, Wayne, Willow, Theodore; brother, Michael Allen Jr., 
sister, Pamela Adams; nephew, Robert Joseph; niece, Sarah Norman; great 
nieces, Savanah, Destiney; great nephews, Matthew, Jaxon, and Rayden, 
all in Salina, Kansas.

A
 Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 17th, 
2022, at Calvary Apostolic Church in Salina, Kansas, with Brother Chris 
Rose and Brother Jayson Pagan officiating.

Harry was born in Kinsley, Kansas on November 12, 1926, to Edna Florence (Strube) and Harry Clifford Reinecke.

Harry served in the United States Army and was a veteran of WWII serving in Manila, Philippines.

On
 March 3, 1951, Harry married Imogene Mathews in Eureka Springs, 
Arkansas.  To this marriage were born two daughters, Kathy and Ann, and 
two sons, David and Scott.

In 1961, Harry opened 
Harry’s Body Shop in Greensburg, Kansas, which he operated until his 
retirement in 1990.  Along with the body shop, Harry ran a wrecker 
service and to coordinate with the Kiowa County Sheriff, was a deputy 
with the Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office.  Harry passed his knowledge of 
auto body repair and painting on to his sons who both worked for him 
while growing up.

Harry and Jean enjoyed square dancing
 and Harry loved playing town team basketball, and was an avid bowler. 
Harry was a long-time volunteer with the Kiowa County Fire Department 
serving as Treasurer for many of those years.  He loved fishing and 
hunting and he passed that love on to his sons.  Harry helped coach 
girls’ softball for a few years and got to coach his daughter, Ann.  He 
never missed any of his kids’ or grandson’s school or sports events. 
Later in life, Harry took up golf and enjoyed golfing with his son, 
Scott, and his grandson, Alex.  He always had time for his kids.

After
 retirement, Harry taught himself woodworking and over the years created
 many projects for family and friends and his own enjoyment.  He 
volunteered at the Greensburg High School shop class where he loved 
helping the kids with their projects.

Harry was an avid
 reader throughout his life, and especially enjoyed a good western and 
anything history.  Harry loved his family and his community. He always 
had a smile on his face and a joke to tell.  He will be missed.

Survivors
 include his wife, Imogene Reinecke, Salina, Kansas; two daughters, 
Kathy Staples (Ron), Salina, Kansas, Ann Rhea, Wichita, Kansas; son, 
Scott Reinecke (Susan), Salina, Kansas; one grandchild, Alex Reinecke, 
Manhattan, Kansas, and one great grandchild, Harrison Reinecke.

Harry is preceded in death by his parents; son, David Reinecke; son-in-law, Tom Rhea; and brother, Gary Reinecke.

Cremation has been chosen.  Graveside services will take place at a later date.

The
 family suggests donations to Kiowa County Senior Center or Kiowa County
 Public Library, in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home and

Harry Edwin Reinecke

Born in Downs, Kansas, November 2, 1952. Her parents, Alvin and Eileen 
Otte, were wheat farmers continuing in the tradition of Alvin’s family. 
Carol’s older siblings Linda and Ken, and younger sister Jan, moved to 
Salina, Kansas, in 1961. If you had asked Carol, this is where she grew 
up. She lived in Salina until she was 29. 
Along with her first husband Carol gave birth to her first daughter, 
Cari Anne, on March 14, 1972. With the help of her Mom, Carol returned 
to work at the investment firm IDS. For recreation Carol and Cari 
enjoyed motorcycle touring with her Mom and Dad, and other family 
members. (Her last bike was a full-dress, shaft-drive Honda CX-500 that 
had been modified by her Dad for one of his bi-annual Arctic Circle 
motorcycle trips.) 
Carol’s younger sister Jan, living in Lawrence, Kansas, set up a 
blind-date for Carol with someone Jan’s husband played with on a 
recreational softball team. That was May 9, 1981. Jeff Sanders was her 
date’s name. They were married just 4 months later on August 14, 1981. 
Several weeks after they were married, Carol moved to Olathe, Kansas 
where Jeff was employed. 
Carol gave birth to her second daughter, Arla June, on August 13, 1982. 
(This was one day short of their 1st Wedding Anniversary.) 
Carol was employed at Grinsted Products while residing in Olathe. In 
1991, Carol and Jeff agreed to a relocation because of Jeff’s work that 
took their family to Mt. Juliet, TN, just outside of Nashville. Cari 
chose to stay in Olathe to begin her own family with David Morgan. 
Carol enjoyed working at Mt. Juliet Chiropractic for the next 11 years. 
From 2002 to 2006 life meandered from Tennessee, to Kentucky, and then 
to New Hampshire in March 2006. They remained there until their 
retirement in July 2016. Retirement led them to again relocate, but this
 time it was not because of work. Instead the purpose of this move was 
to be near kids and grandkids. This brought Carol absolute joy! 
Starting in Tennessee Carol advanced her crafting skills, especially 
making Christmas cards for her daughters and herself using an 
ever-expanding collection of Stampin’ Up stamp sets. Not only was she 
really, really good at this, but enjoyed this as her 2nd favorite 
pastime, next to her grandkids and great-granddaughter! She delivered 
most of this year’s set of cards the day before she passed away. 
Carol is survived by: Her loving husband for 41 ½ years Robert Jeffrey 
(Jeff) Sanders, residing in Fortson, GA daughter Cari Anne Morgan, and 
husband David, residing in Fortson, Georgia, granddaughter Bailee Eileen
 Walsh, her husband Andrew great-granddaughter Elsie James Walsh 
granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Morgan grandson Adam James Morgan 
granddaughter Jillian May Morgan and Daughter Arla June Bell, and 
husband Jeffrey, residing in Seaford, Virginia granddaughter Lily Grace 
Bell and grandson Garrett Edward Bell; her sister Linda Struchen, and 
husband Don, residing in Marion, Iowa and her brother Kendall Otte, and 
wife Dixie, residing in Osage Beach, Missouri and sister Jan Henry, 
residing in Lawrence, Kansas.

Lynda Faye Lohf, 59, of Hutchinson, died November 24, 2022, at
Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born on December 14, 1962, in
Hutchinson, to Brenda (Borth) Lohf. 


Lynda was a
graduate of Beloit High School in 1981.  She worked as a home painter
and was very skilled, never spilling a drop. Lynda was also very
artistic and a talented drawer. She loved her two cats, Ennie and
Meenie, and they were a great comfort to her in difficult times. 


Lynda is survived
by: mother, Brenda Martin (Charles), Hutchinson; brothers, Ray Lohf,
Hutchinson, Rob Lohf, Salina, Scott Lohf, Chesterfield, Kentucky; and
many beloved nieces and nephews. 


She was preceded
in death by her father, Gary Lohf and daughter, Shanna Lohf.

Cremation has
taken place. The family will announce plans for services at a later
date.

Worked for Rock Island Railroad from 1976 to 1985,&nbsp;Marion County from 1987-1994,&nbsp;ABC Rail Products and then retired from Agco Corp.

Mike enjoyed hunting, baseball, football and fishing.&nbsp;He took Andrew fishing all the time when he was little.

He loved his dogs; he had a dog, Snoopy, when he lived at home.

He trained Buddy, his red bone coonhound, for search and rescue until Buddy got sick.

Always enjoyed going to visits his aunts and uncles in Missouri and always wanted to move back there.&nbsp;When Glenna, Mike, and Jeanne (Dumpy) got together, they would reminence about Missouri.

Always enjoyed putting in a large garden.

He would tease the heck out of his nieces and nephews. When they were little he would take the Matz girls and go Christmas caroling to people's houses. I am not too sure the girls knew exactly what to expect.&nbsp;He also would tell them there was bears in the attic whenever one would spend the night.

Had the best time drinking coffee with his sister Glenna and sometimes with Dumpy.

Dumpy was his sidekick; those two came up with the darkest things.

He loved reading to his kids and he and Andrew did a lot of puzzles together.

We love you Mike. Will see you again. We know you're with family and friends and pain-free now.

When they were little he would take the Matz girls and go Christmas caroling to people's houses. I am not too sure the girls knew exactly what to expect.&nbsp;He also would tell them there was bears in the attic whenever one would spend the night.He loved each and everyone of them.Had the best time drinking coffee with his sister Glenna and sometimes with Dumpy.Dumpy was his sidekick; those two came up with the darkest things.He loved reading to his kids and he and Andrew did a lot of puzzles together.We love you Mike. Warren Fritz, 88, died December 8, 2022, in Clay Center, KS.&nbsp; He was born on February 15, 1934, in Clay Center, the son of George and Melva (Hatfield) Fritz.&nbsp; 

Warren was raised in the Clay Center community.&nbsp;He was a class of 1952 graduate of Altamont High School.  

Warren married Shirley Hardesty on January 1, 1956.&nbsp; They made their home in Clay Center and Warren worked as an electrician for C&amp;W Rural Electric Cooperative.&nbsp; They enjoyed square dancing, camping club and spent the last 25 winters in Texas.&nbsp; 

Warren was preceded in death by his parents; son Maynard Fritz; sister Mary Alice Rundle; brother Frederick Fritz.

Henry W. Kuhlman passed away on December 11, 2022 at the Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center, Kansas at the age of 93.

Henry was born and raised in Linn, Kansas, the son of Henry and Anna Kuhlman, who immigrated to the states from Germany.

 He married Iris Kathleen Gray on June 4th, 1950 where he resided in the Linn community with his wife for over 60 years. &nbsp;They raised their four children, Laura Rene, Teresa Ann, Rolf Eric, and Henry Jay.

He was a lifetime member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Linn where he served on the council for many years.&nbsp;

In his early years, Henry worked with his father as a partner at Kuhlman Motor Company in Linn.&nbsp; From 1965 through 1989, he owned and operated the Chrysler Dealership in Washington. In his later years, he worked for the Dodge dealership in Marysville, Kansas where he was able to share his many years of experience in the auto industry. 

He served as chairman of the Linn Housing Board for 39 years and was a member of the Washington Lions Club, the Elks Club, and the Moose Club. He was a member for 14 years on the board of the Kansas Motor Car Dealers Association and served as president from 1979-1980. His many achievements also included serving as city clerk, president of the Linn Booster Club and chairman of the Washington County Agricultural Hall of Fame. 

In his younger years, he enjoyed playing the drums at local events. 

After he retired, his passion was working in his yard and gardens.

Henry is preceded in death by his wife (Iris), sister (Dorothy Ann), and daughter (Teresa Ann Hohman).

He leaves behind his daughter Laura and husband Kelly of San Antonio, TX, Rolf and wife Joy of Omaha, NE, and Henry Jay and wife Kelley, of Kihei, HI. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren as well as many close friends that he came to know throughout his many years.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

The Good Lord finally called Cecil Nicholas Koster home on 12/07/2022, at the age of 97 Years, 1 month, and 8 days. He was ready……

Cecil was born on Halloween, October 31, 1925, the fifth of twelve children to Henry and Susan (Thomas) Koster on a farm south of Cawker City. He shared memories of joy/hardship growing up in the depression and dirty thirties…but still felt grateful for his childhood/large family. He attended schools in Cawker (St. Theresa and Cawker High) but finished his junior and senior year at St. Johns in Beloit, graduating with the class of 1943. Soon after graduation, Uncle Sam called him up. On December 9, 1943, Cecil was inducted in the U.S. Army to serve in WWII. Cecil received high speed radio training for the Signal Corps in California with deployment as a teletype operator to Germany, where he served until May 9, 1946.

Upon his honorable discharge from the service of the country, he returned to California where he was united in marriage to Mary Ulrich on July 9, 1946. Their marriage was cut short with her death on December 1, 1947.

After Mary’s death, Cecil returned to Kansas and helped with various family caretaking needs and jobs until he married a Cawker City native, Martha Mary King, on May 20, 1950. Cecil and Martha parented with Mom as the “good cop” with the ability to stretch a dollar as far as it would go and Dad as the “bad cop “with the iron fist and loud voice. But they did it…and raised seven children! After over 63 years of marriage, Martha passed away on February 19, 2014.

Cecil loved, lived and labored northeast of Cawker City for over 70 years….and his hands showed it. Milking cows, raising beef cattle, and hogs. He cut, split, and stacked wood for the shop stove. He grew a large garden to share with his loved ones. He was very resourceful in fixing things on the farm when money was tight and creative when figuring out how to make churning home-made ice and shelling black walnuts easier. He enjoyed the seasons: spring field work, summer harvest, fall calving and winter feeding the wood stove and livestock. He also was a fan of bingo and his four-legged companions, especially his last dog Jiggs. He was fortunate to have a job as a substitute rural mail carrier to supplement the income and was able to retire from the USPS after 42 years.

Cecil was preceded in death by his wives; his parents; brothers Richard, Harold, Charles, Jerome, Raymond and Robert; his sisters Marcella Hyde and Janice Koster, grandson Jarod Sloan and great-grandson Evan Boehner.

He is survived by his children Karen (Norval) Boehner, Bruce, Rebecca Wallace, Nola Sloan, Nina (Brian) Schmitz, Jeffrey (Brenda) and Kent; sisters Dolores Quenzer and Marilyn Lingg; brother Henry; and in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces/nephews too numerous to list.

A vigil rosary service will be at 7 p.m.,&nbsp;Sunday, December 11, 2022 at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at the same location on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Prairie Grove cemetery.

In lieu&nbsp;of flowers memorials may be made to St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church or St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.&nbsp;

James R. “Jim” Kuntz, 77, of Salina passed away December 9, 2022, at Good Shepherd Hospice House in&nbsp;Manhattan. He was born at Abilene’s Memorial Hospital February 24, 1945, the son of Roy and Arlene (Thiel) Kuntz. 

James graduated in 1963 from Chapman High School and went on to Fisher Auto Body School in Kansas City. 

His life-long autobody career started at Greenough’s auto body shop and finished as Jim’s Body Shop in Salina. He was very precise on his auto body work and did just about everything from fixing fenders to auto body painting. James was awfully proud of his '55 Chevy in which he entered and won numerous car show awards. 

James was united in marriage to Mary Kay Ryan on December 2, 1972, in Solomon. 

He is survived by his loving wife Mary Kay; two children, son Brian (Dana) Kuntz of Paola, Kansas and daughter Kristie (Frankie) Hutchinson of Manhattan, Kansas; six grandchildren, Caeleb, Jack, Vivian, Logan, Bo, and Charlie; two brothers, Larry (Anita) Kuntz of California and Bob (Janet) Kuntz of Abilene;&nbsp; and one sister, Linda Jensen of Salina. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Funeral Services for James will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Abilene First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Livingston/Union Cemetery, rural Abilene. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home of Abilene.

Bradley Roughton, 27, died December 7, 2022.&nbsp; He was born in Salina on October 2, 1995, to Kristina Reasner and Brent Moses.

Bradley grew up in Concordia, KS with his grandparents Mary and 
Richard Roughton. Later moving to Hays, KS where he met the love of his
 life Alicia Johnson. They moved to Fort Collins where they had many 
happy years together. Bradley loved exercising, hiking and all 
animals.&nbsp; He touched many lives and was loved by everyone.

He is survived by his partner, Alicia; mother and stepfather, 
Kristina and David Reasner; grandparents, Mary and Richard Roughton; two
 sisters, Ashley Luther and Chelise Rich; aunts, Kathy (Shane) Bartlett 
and Karen (J.R.) Parks; and two cousins, Jeremy (Kaytie) Roughton and 
Jay (Trish) Bartlett.

Bradley was preceded by his brother, Brandon Moses.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. on 
Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Ryan Mortuary.&nbsp; A funeral service will

DOWNS - Gary L. Billings, 79, passed away December 10, 2022.

He was born June 28, 1943 in Portis, the son of Roland and Estelle (LaRue) Billings.

Rhonda Miller, 60, died Sunday, December 4, 2022, at her home in Garden 
City, Kansas. She was born September 10, 1962, in Hays, Kansas, the 
daughter of Carroll &amp; Donna (Russell) Knoll. 
 Rhonda and her family lived in Hays and Salina, before moving to 
Garden City in the late 1960s where she attended Garden City schools 
and graduated from Garden City High School in 1981. A homemaker, Rhonda
 also worked for several years as a secretary. She enjoyed spending her
 time fishing, reading her Bible, watching religious shows on TV, 
writing in her journal, and playing dice games. Rhonda was very 
athletic and excelled in swimming. She also loved to spend her time 
with her family and decorating for family events. 
 On March 16, 1990, she married Tim Miller in Salina, Kansas. He 
survives. Other survivors include three children Christina Hernandez of
 Garden City, KS, Tiffany &amp; husband Josh Purvis of Bonner Springs, 
KS, and Amber Miller of Overland Park, KS; a stepson Brandon Miller of 
Syracuse, KS; a sister Jeris &amp; husband Brian Newcomer of Wildwood, 
MO; her twin brother Richard &amp; wife Janet Knoll of Woodland Park, 
CO; ten grandchildren; and ten nieces and nephews. Rhonda is preceded 
in death by her parents. 
 A Celebration of Rhonda’s life was held at the Seventh Day 
Adventist Church in Garden City. Burial will take place at a later date

Rhonda Miller

Scott David Conklin, Sr., 62, died December 8, 2022, surrounded by his family at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born February 17, 1960, in Hutchinson, to Stuart “Joe” Frazier and Mary Ann (Kaaz) Conklin.&nbsp;

Scott graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1978 and Kansas University with a Bachelors of Business Administration. He grew up working in the family business, Conklin Cars, started by his grandfather.

After graduating from KU, he returned to Hutchinson to work in the family business alongside his father and brothers, becoming a partner in 1982. On July 23, 1983, Scott married Kathryn Meeks of Kirkwood (St. Louis), MO. They enjoyed 39 years of marriage.

Scott became the “face” of Conklin Cars around 2005, taking over the advertising after his father passed away, though never becoming comfortable with the attention that brought. He served in various ways in the community, most recently serving on the board of the Hutchinson YMCA. While the family had a dealership location in Kansas City, MO, he served as president on MainCor, a revitalization and economic development board in the area. Gardening was a passion of Scott’s; he loved all kinds of plants and landscaping. Scott was an active member of Grace Bible Church, Hutchinson, where he led the ministry of Grace for Orphans. The church was where he most desired to serve due to his strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.&nbsp;

Scott is survived by: his wife, Kathryn “Kathy” Conklin of Hutchinson; children and grandchildren, Sarah Lill (Jeremy) and their children, Genevieve and Kate of Lawrence, KS, Mary Hoover (Tony) and their children, Emme and Penelope of Hutchinson, Scott Conklin, Jr. (Paige) and their children, Scott David III, Eloise, Josephine, and Arthur of Hutchinson; and Ann Conklin of Bentonville, AR; mother, Mary Ann Conklin of Hutchinson; siblings, Stuart F. Conklin (Fran) of Hutchinson, Steven A. Conklin of Watertown, WI, and Susan Fangman (Joe) of Houston, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

Neoma Fern Flaming was born March 19, 1940 in Hutchinson, KS to Frank and Martha Peters. 

She grew up on a farm north of Hillsboro in the French Creek community with her younger siblings, Viola and Virgil. She attended French Creek School, a one-room schoolhouse for 1st – 8th grades.

 An interesting story regarding her life-long love of coffee is that her mom added coffee to her bottle when she wouldn’t drink the milk. The love for coffee stayed and she refused to drink milk her entire life.

She accepted Jesus as her Savior in her early teens through her Bible School teacher at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church. Her love for the Lord continued to grow throughout the rest of her life. She loved studying her Bible and it is full of personal notes and markings.

She met the love of her life for the first time as a 4th grader at French Creek School when Lester Flaming moved to the area as a 7th grader. They officially began noticing each other when she was a junior in high school and had a flat tire on the way to a basketball game. Her knight in shining armor arrived to take care of her. Shortly after that they began to see each other and had a secret way to communicate since they lived a half-mile apart. Lester used a spotlight run by a battery pulled from his car, and Neoma enlisted the help of her sister to flip the light switch across her bedroom when she saw his light.

They were married June 23, 1958 and immediately moved to Evanston, Illinois where Les was completing his 1W service at a hospital there. 

They moved back to Hillsboro in 1960 where their first daughter, Jannita, was born. They moved regularly between Hillsboro and Artesian, South Dakota due to Lester’s work with Barkman Honey Company. Their son, Les, was born in South Dakota in 1961. By 1968 when their daughter Tammy joined the family, they had purchased a home in Hillsboro. They continued to live in Hillsboro until 2021 when they moved to Buhler.

Neoma was known for being an entrepreneur. She had a great love of people and a flair for business. She owned many home-based businesses throughout her life. She also realized her dream of having her own store when she opened the Something Special Shoppe on Main St. in Hillsboro where she sold bulk foods, homemade soups, sandwiches, baked goods, and frozen yogurt.

Neoma had several mini-strokes throughout her life and began to suffer from dementia, showing early signs around 2011. She lived at home until October, 2018 when she suffered a fall that caused her to break her neck. This led to a permanent placement at Salem Home in Hillsboro until 2021 when she moved to Sunshine Meadows in Buhler. Lester joined her in Buhler at a duplex across the street, soon after. They communicated every day even when they couldn’t be together in person, until she passed away on December 3, 2022.

Charles Kenneth Dowell, 90, died December 3, 2022 at Pine Village, Moundridge. 

He retired from CertainTeed in quality control in 1997 and had been a resident of Canton for 55 years, moving from McPherson. He was born August 12, 1932 in El Dorado, the son of Harold Irvin and Lula (Latty) Dowell. In November of 1969, he married Patricia Lee Pence in Miami, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on January 31, 2010. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of the Canton American Legion Post #192 and the McPherson V.F.W. Post #2715. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three daughters, Heather Lee (Eric) Burch, Galva, Whitney Lee (Ron) Blaylock, Moundridge and Amber Lee Dowell (David Tripp), Canton; a sister, Lois Zeitlow, Fort Wayne, Indiana; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Empire Cemetery, Galva. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, at Olson’s Mortuary, Canton.

Memorials have been established with the Canton American Legion or the McPherson V.F.W., in care of the Olson’s Mortuary, P.O. Box 355, Canton, KS 67428.

Paul was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on November 18, 1934, a son of Anna Emelie (Johnson) and John A. Hubenett. Paul attended the Stone Corral Grade School and 8th grade at Libby Country School, graduated from Little River High School, Little River, Kansas in 1951. He was a member of Andover Lutheran Church in Windom. Paul was a farmer and worked at the Hutchinson and McPherson sale barns, worked at the elevator in Windom for Windom Grain, W.R Mill, and Mid-Kansas Coop. He was a member of the Windom Lions Club, Windom, Kansas. Paul A. Hubenett was united in marriage to Elois Nelson on May 29, 1965 at Andover Lutheran Church, rural Windom, Kansas. The young couple established their first home together in rural Little River. This union was blessed with the birth of four sons, Eric, Mike, Kirk and Phillip. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Elois Hubenett of Windom, Kansas; his sons Eric Hubenett and his wife Denise of Overland Park, Kansas, Michael Hubenett and his wife Melissa of McPherson, Kansas, Kirk Hubenett of Windom, Kansas and Phillip Hubenett and his wife Ellen of Fredrick, Colorado. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Peter, Brianna, Logan(Alex Weber), Brooks, Cara, Pruitt and Annalise. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters Lois Creed and Ruth Palmer. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Andover Lutheran Church, Windom, Kansas. He grew up on the Kadel farm between Jamestown and Randall, and later graduated from Jewell High School in 1966.

They lived in Sylvan Grove until 1981, when they moved to Beloit.Tom worked for Wichers Farms and Solomon Valley Feeders, and then went to work as a welder for Sunflower Manufacturing for many years before retiring. He also helped his parents with farming and the livestock.In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, boating, gardening, farming, and visiting. He was also an avid gun collector. No one was a stranger, and he would strike up a conversation with anyone. He always wanted to help those that he loved and those less fortunate than him.Tom was preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by his wife Brenda of the home; son Clayton of Beloit; daughter Mary of Manhattan; brothers Bill and wife Lawanna of Texas, and David and wife Jean of Randall; sister Teresa of Concordia; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law Duane and wife Jeri Brozek of Ellinwood, and George Brozek of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.He will be greatly missed by family and friends, but is no longer in pain, and resting in peace with the Lord.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 12 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home.
