Wilbur Voth, 90, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Mercy Hospital. He was born October 5, 1932 in Moundridge, the son of John D. and Linda (Graber) Voth.
Wilbur graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 1951. He served in 1-W service following high school in Denver for two years.
He was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Christian.
Wilbur had his private pilot’s license and was a member of the Flying Farmers of America, and the Moundridge Flying Club and McPherson Flying Club.
He was a lifelong farmer.
Wilbur was united in marriage to Hazel Mae Heil on June 17, 1956 at Lind, Washington. She survives of the home.
He is also survived by his daughter Eileen Voth of Mill Creek, WA; son Michael Voth (Jana) of Wichita; granddaughter Brittany Bartel (Bret) of El Dorado; grandson Jordan Voth (Jennifer Weiman) of Kansas City, MO; great-granddaughter Brooke Bartel of El Dorado; three sisters, Evelyn Penner of Whitewater, Waneta Goering (Eugene) of Moundridge, and Lois Hunsicker (Lee) of Telford, PA; seven brothers, Curt Voth of Charleston, WV, Karl Voth (Luanna) of Hesston, Larry Voth (Terry) of Boyertown, PA, Harry Voth (Cathy) of Loveland, CO, Myron Voth of Hesston, Stanley Voth of Hesston, and Verne Voth (Janet) of Hesston.
Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ruth Kaiser and Alta Johnson; and two brothers, Glenn Voth and James Voth.
Graveside services will take place at 9:45 a.m., Monday, February 27, 2023 at First Mennonite Cemetery, rural Moundridge. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., at First Mennonite Church of Christian. Family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, February 26 at Moundridge Funeral Home.
