Catherine (Kitty) Pricilla Fixx was born on September 18, 1934 in New York City. 

She and her brother, James (Jimmy) Fixx, bestselling author of “The Complete Book of Running,” grew up in a loving home in Jackson Heights, NY. Her father, Calvin Fixx, was an editor at Time Magazine and their mother, Marlys Fuller Fixx, had been a ballerina. 

Kitty grew up surrounded by her parent’s friends, influential journalists, poets, artists, and creative thinkers, (dubbed the “interstitial intellectuals" by Robert Vanderlan in his 2010 book), who inspired her lifelong interest in painting, drawing and poetry. 

As a young girl, Kitty studied portraiture under the tutelage of the prolific artist, Boris Chaliapin. Chaliapin encouraged her to pursue her artistic talent, and at the young age of 11, Kitty rode the train into NYC weekly to study at The Art Students League of America. Her love of tennis was born at the Garden Country Day School in Queens where she and her brother, Jimmy, developed a friendly rivalry that lasted well into their adulthood.

Her father died when she was 13, and she and her mother moved to Oberlin, Ohio where Kitty pursued a degree in early education. After graduating from Oberlin College, she taught in Venezuela and Florida before marrying Walter Davis and moving with him to Verona, New Jersey, and then Santa Barbara, California. Her children, Martha and Tom, were added to the family in Santa Barbara before moving to Winchester, Massachusetts. After divorcing, Kitty remarried and moved back to Santa Barbara.

She was a creative person with a lifelong passion for painting, drawing, and writing. She loved tennis and running and was into healthy eating before it was in vogue. She served on the board of the Inherited High Cholesterol Foundation, for many years. She was an equally fervent activist, going door to door in the '70s to petition for school integration through the METCO program. She loved God and worshipped at the Episcopal church, where she was often a lay reader. She was an amazing mother who loved her children unconditionally and sacrificially. She lived many adventures and enjoyed deep friendships with kindred spirits. 

After the difficult loss of her 96-year-old mother with whom she shared a deep and abiding bond, some cognitive issues began which resulted in the diagnosis of dementia in 2009. After living with her daughter in Los Angeles, she later moved to Kansas to be closer to her son with whom she lived surrounded by her son, daughter-in-law and four grandchildren. 

passed away peacefully in Salina, Kansas on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

She is survived by her children: Martha Davis of Los Angeles and Tom Davis of Salina, KS; her daughter-in-law Kat, grandchildren Kara, Kate, Summer, and Zachariah, as well as her niece Betsy and nephews Paul, John and Stephen. 

She was preceded in death by her father Calvin Fixx, her mother Marlys Fuller Fixx and her brother James Fixx; also by her husband Walter Davis and her second husband James Bower.

Funeral services will be held privately at a later date.

Though she may have been small in stature, Donna Anderson’s love and kindness, grace and dignity were immeasurable. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our beloved mother and grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend, Donna Joleen Anderson on November 11 in Salina, Kansas.

Donna was a surprise to her parents, Earl and Pearl White, when she joined their family of five children, Bob, Ray, Almeda, Aline, and Tommy on August 11, 1937.&nbsp; Donna grew up in Abilene, Kansas and graduated in 1955.&nbsp; 

She was determined to be a nurse and after working at Memorial Hospital during high school, she went on to Bethany School of Nursing in Kansas City, Kansas. Before she graduated, her father succumbed to cancer in 1958.&nbsp; When Donna finished nursing school, she came home to Abilene to help out her mother; but while working in a doctor’s office in Enterprise, she met Myron “Andy” Anderson.

After a brief courtship, Donna and Myron married on March 1, 1959.&nbsp; Their family grew with their five children, Terry, Scott (Mary Anne), Tamra (Dan Hocker), Jon (Holly), and Darla (Mike Hoover). 

The Andersons moved from town to town in Kansas, and later brief stints in Nebraska and Illinois, finally settling in Topeka for 20 years. Because Donna was an R.N., she never had trouble finding work, and did every type of nursing job from obstetrics in Abilene to nursing homes in Salina, and Home Health Care in Topeka.

The most important job that Donna had, though, was being a wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband was devoted to her and she to him for 52 years. She loved her children and taught them Christian values by modeling them herself. Later, she would travel across the country, from Hutchinson to Arkansas to Texas to California, to help her children with their own children. Her husband, children, and grandchildren would never be able to find a superlative word to describe how much she meant to them. They loved her as much as she loved them.

Myron died in 2011, and Donna moved into McCall Manor (now Reflections Resort) in Salina, Kansas. Donna shared friendships with many of the residents and staff. There, as in every other of her endeavors, she left a lasting impression.

Small in stature, but big in heart. That was Donna Anderson.

In addition to Myron, she was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, three nephews, her grandson Ryan, and daughter-in-law Debbie.

Donna’s survivors include her five children, 13 of her grandchildren, their spouses, and their children, two sisters-in-law (Edwina Anderson and Carolyn Hossfeld), and several nieces and nephews including Ruth Fritton and Patricia Warner.

Sometime in April, Donna’s children will hold a graveside service at the Lutheran Cemetery in Enterprise, Kansas.

Phillipsburg resident Daniel "Dan" Edwards passed away on November, 
10, 2022, at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas at the age of 82.&nbsp;

Dan was born on June 29, 1940, in Beloit, Kansas, to Glenn and Mayme Edwards.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Mayme, sister Gloria June Edwards, and sister-in-law Linda Edwards

Dan is survived by his son Mike Edwards of Kentucky, daughter 
Christine Edwards of Phillipsburg, KS, brothers Sam Edwards and wife 
Arna of Prescott, AZ, John Edwards and wife Bonnie of Cawker City, KS, 
Loren Edwards and wife Ann of Phillipsburg, Ike Edwards of Phillipsburg,
 sisters Glenice Emmot and husband John of Colorado Springs, CO, Margie 
Stout and husband Keith Gray of Beloit, KS, as well as 4 grandchildren, 6
 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Janice Suzanne Dyer, 75, of Salina, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Town Village of Leawood.  Janice was born December 15, 1946 in Lindsborg, KS to the late Harold and the late Justine (Finney) Olson.  

Janice was a graduate of Lindsborg High School.  She attended Brown Mackie College and worked as a secretary and bookkeeper.

Survivors include her daughter Sherri Whitefield of Salina, KS; son Jeffery Dyer (Katie) of Leawood, KS; brother Warren Olson (Lynnda) of Lindsborg, KS; four granddaughters, Ashley Whitefield, Courtney Whitefield, Hudson Dyer and, Margo Dyer; as well as great-grandchildren Marcus Davis, Kamren Davis, and Kylie Manning and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Janice is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Mike Olson.

Cremation has been chosen. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 25 at Rose Hill Cemetery, rural Bridgeport.

Janice Suzanne Dyer

Christina Lynn (Moody) Radtke, 68, passed away November 8, 2022 at St. Luke Living Center after a three-year battle with cancer.

Chris was born February 14, 1954 to Martie and Virgie (Orram) Moody in Newton, Kansas. The family lived in Moundridge, then moved to Florence in 1965 before settling on the family farm east of Marion in 1967. 

She met Bud Radtke a year after she graduated from Marion High School in 1972, and they were married in Salina, Kansas on July 30, 1977. The couple later purchased the family farm east of Marion where they raised their children, Travis, Traci and Trent.

Chris worked at the Florence nursing home for 29 years until the facility closed, after which she worked at Casey’s General Store in Marion for 15 years. She made the Best Pizzas Ever! As a side job for 40 years she sold Avon. 

Chris enjoyed reading, sewing, collecting, and visiting casinos. She had a love for all animals. She enjoyed her birds, rabbits, chickens, ducks, lambs and dogs. But her greatest love was for her grandkids - she adored them all and would do anything for them.

Chris is survived by her sons Travis (Amy) Radtke, Trent (Robyn) Radtke, daughter Traci (Aaron) Helmer all of Marion; grandkids Morgan Radtke Jenna and Wyatt Helmer, Quinn, Dexter and Lincoln Radtke; brother Kim (Carolyn) Moody of Ulysses, Kansas; and three sisters, Cheri Thompson of Eudora, Kansas, Konnie Hamilton of Loomis, California, Cindy (Mark) Naff of Lawrence, Kansas;&nbsp; many nieces and nephews, many cousins and many friends. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Bud Radtke, her parents Martie Moody and Virgie (Pete) Haggerty and her brother John Moody.

She made the Best Pizzas Ever! As a side job for 40 years she sold Avon. Chris enjoyed reading, sewing, collecting, and visiting casinos. She had a love for all animals. She enjoyed her birds, rabbits, chickens, ducks, lambs and dogs. Anne A. Ost, 88, of Mankato, passed away November 8.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 12, at 10:00 a.m. at the Harmony United Methodist Church in Mankato.

Anne Arlene (Siemon) Ost, 88, passed on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at her home west of Mankato, KS. Born November 9, 1933 to Everett and Myrtle, Anne was one of four children: Avis, Donald (Bud), and Anita (Mickey). 

Anne attended Liberty School and later, Mankato High School.

She was united in marriage on July 26, 1950, at her parents’ home to Milford Ost. The newlyweds moved to Colorado Springs while Milford was in the army stationed at Fort Carson. In 1950 they cleared a cornfield and began construction of their home. The house was completed in 1953 after they returned home with their first child, Audra. Over the next three years, they added three sons, Mike, Brad, and Larry, to the family.

Anne and Milford lived and loved in their house for 55 years. Anne was busy helping on the farm, cooking for her family as well as hired help, running errands and trying to keep up with four children. 

She was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. &nbsp;

Anne loved reading, riding horses, helping Milford and being outside. She was an amazing homemaker and mother loved by so many. &nbsp;She had a circle of friends who spent a lifetime sharing their children’s accomplishments and heartaches, Lila Smith, Joan Dean, Dona (Ost) Beam and Darlene Walker. &nbsp;

Anne was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Milford in 2005, her grandson Ryan, in 2009, her three siblings between 2010 and 2014 and her beloved son Bradley in 2018. &nbsp;

Anne is survived by her children daughter Audra Berry, Belton MO; son Michael Ost and wife, Lora of Mankato; son Larry Ost and wife, Ronda &nbsp;of Mankato; grandchildren Angela Sellami and family, Raymore MO; Brett McGuire and family, Belton MO; Jesse Ost and family, Hunter KS; Jennifer Cashman and family, Mount Hope, KS; Mariah Wells and family, Chesapeake, VI; Arielle Ost, also of Chesapeake, VI; Staci Whelchel and family, Mankato KS; Ryan’s son Caden, York, NE; Jedediah Ost and children, Los Angeles, CA; Abby Elkins and family, Burr Oak, KS; Cassie Seemann and family, Smith Center, KS; 32 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, scores of nieces and nephews. &nbsp;

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at the Harmony United Methodist Church in Mankato, interment to follow at the Burr Oak Cemetery.

Jacob R. Nance was born on February 20, 1998, in Clearwater, Florida, to Glenn and Sammie (Zimmerman) Nance, and he passed away near Burr Oak, Kansas, on November 4, 2022, at the age of 24.

Jacob grew up in Mankato, and attended Mankato Public Schools. He enjoyed working with his hands, and worked as a mechanic on cars and trucks.

He is survived by his mother Sammie Nance of Mankato, grandmother Myra Jo Bolt of Mankato, brothers Kenneth Nance of Mankato, Stephen Nance and his wife Niki of Holiday, Florida, and brother Glenn Nance of Mankato. 

He is preceded in death by his father Glenn Nance.

He also later obtained his private pilot's license and FAA airline and engine mechanic license. Leo served in the United States Army in central Europe during WWII from 1944-1946, attaining the rank of corporal. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Marita Heald on February 21, 1953, at the First United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kansas. He worked as a technical writer for Aviation &amp; Farm Equipment. Leo later worked for Boeing for 17 years, where he was involved with modifications to Air Force One and Air Force Two. He was employed for 12 years at Hesston Corporation, and from 1970-1973, Leo owned and operated Holmes Dodge and Implement in Burwell, Nebraska. He was a member of the Hesston Kiwanis Club where he served as president and received distinguished President's Award with Honors. Leo was also a member of the Hesston United Methodist Church. Leo and Carolyn were instrumental in getting the Hesston Senior Center started. Leo is survived by his wife, Carolyn of the home; daughter Marita Jo (Brent) Steckly of Beaver Crossing, NE; three sons, L. Monte (Monica) Holmes of Goshen, IN, Marshall (Renee) Holmes of Hesston; and Mitchell (Michelle) Holmes of St. John; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Betty Jean (Becker) Carlson, 89, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at her home.

Betty was born on July 19, 1933, in McPherson County, KS, the youngest of four children born to Tobias B. and Ida (Koehn) Becker.&nbsp; 

On July 26, 1950, Betty was united in marriage to Robert Dean Carlson in Perham, MN.&nbsp; This union was blessed with the birth of three children, Dennis, Steven, and Diane.&nbsp; Married for nearly 59 years, Bob preceded her in death on July 7, 2009.

Along with being a homemaker, she worked as a waitress at Starlite Restaurant, a cook for Hickory Manor Nursing Home, a sales clerk for McNichols Shoe Store, and a holiday gift wrapper at Morris &amp; Sons Clothiers.&nbsp;

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and former member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Survivors include her children Dennis (Sherill) Carlson of McPherson, KS and Diane (Terry) Rhea of Hollister, MO; daughter-in-law Lori Carlson of Manhattan, KS; nine grandchildren, Tracy Rhea, Laura Rhea, Rob Newberry, Kelly (Carlson) Nicola, Melissa Newberry, Tara Flores, Jeremy Schmidt, Matt Carlson, and Jami Carlson; 18 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steve Carlson; siblings Lincoln Becker, Allen Becker, and Rozella Chapman; a granddaughter, Amy Carlson; and a great-grandson.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Stockham Family Funeral Home.&nbsp; The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 17, at the First Baptist Church.&nbsp; Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.

Donald Dean Rounds of McPherson, Kansas, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at McPherson Hospital at the age of 95.&nbsp;

Donald was born on October 4, 1927, at 703 Walnut, Enid, Oklahoma. He was the first child of Jasper William Rounds and Hazel Marie (Smith) Rounds.&nbsp;

The family moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma when Donald was nine months old.&nbsp; He attended the first four grades of school at Lincoln.&nbsp; The family moved to McPherson, Kansas in 1938.&nbsp; Donald finished the fifth grade at Washington Elementary School and sixth grade at Roosevelt School.&nbsp; He attended Park Junior High and one year at McPherson High School.&nbsp; He graduated from Central College Academy in 1945, where he played basketball and softball.&nbsp; It was at this time, he started using the name Don, much to the displeasure of his father.

World War II was coming to a close so to avoid the draft, Don talked his parents into signing papers so he could enlist in the Navy.&nbsp; Four weeks into boot camp, Don had the opportunity to transfer to the Seabee Branch of the Navy.&nbsp; He was stationed on Samara Island in the Philippines for nine months.&nbsp; He was honorably discharged in 1946 as a Motor Machinist Mate 3rd&nbsp;Class.

Don completed associate degree at Central College in McPherson, Kansas, in 1948.&nbsp; He played basketball and baseball while in college.

Don married his high school sweetheart, Joyce Alene Meyer.&nbsp; They were married at Cole Memorial Free Methodist Church in Kansas City, Kansas on July 1, 1947.&nbsp; The couple was blessed with three sons, Michael Dean, Bradley Kent, and Brett Kelly. Joyce preceded Don in death on July 21, 1987.

Don worked as assistant county engineer and retired from National Cooperative Refinery Association as Products Pipeline and Terminal Superintendent, after 30 years of service.&nbsp; The family moved from McPherson, KS in 1960 for Don’s employment with NCRA.&nbsp; Don moved back to McPherson in 1990 to be close to his family, church friends, and college friends.

On October 17, 1991, Don was united in marriage to Neva F. (Duncan) McCormick, in McPherson, Kansas.&nbsp; They enjoyed married life together for 23 years.&nbsp; She preceded him in death on April 6, 2014.

He is survived by his son Kelly (Linda) Rounds of McPherson, KS; four grandchildren, Wayne (Brittany) Rounds, Kenny (Stacey) Rounds, Lacee Green, and Kim Robinson; two stepgrandchildren, Christy (Erik) Velazquez and Cameron (Carol) Crick; seven great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, a brother, Bob Rounds, two sisters, Elsie Landess and Wanda Wash; two sons, Michael Dean Rounds and Bradley Kent Rounds.&nbsp;

The family will receive friends from 2:00 Pp.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Stockham Family Funeral Home.&nbsp; The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 14, at McPherson Free Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Griffith officiating.&nbsp; Burial with Military Honors will follow at McPherson Cemetery. &nbsp;

Margaret E. Wilkens, 91, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in Ellsworth, KS. She was born November 7, 1931, in Great Bend, KS to Charles and Anna (Schindler) Herb. 

Margaret married Donald A. Wilkens in Hudson, KS on November 25, 1951. The couple settled in the Lorraine, KS area and remained there until 1988 when they moved to Ellsworth. 

She was a member of Lorraine First Baptist Church.

Margaret is survived by her son Jerry Wilkens of Omaha, NE; daughters Carol Silvernail (David) of Olathe, KS and Connie Wilkens of Hutchinson, KS; grandson Joshua Wilkens (Kristi) of De Soto, KS and Jacob Wilkens (Karla) of Hoisington, KS; and great-grandchildren Ryen, Chase, Jax, Trey, Kinley, and Adler. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald Wilkens; and sisters Ruby Tucker, Ruth Ek, Frieda Miller, and Marion Brown.

Margaret’s funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Lorraine First Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. No visitation is scheduled.

She married Gene Webster on August 3, 1957, and they made their home in Overland Park, KS.&nbsp; 

Martha graduated from Central Missouri State College and later earned her master’s degree from the University of Kansas.&nbsp; 

She worked as a speech therapist for the Olathe school district until her retirement.&nbsp;

 In 2014, Gene and Martha moved to Clay Center, where they attended the Clay Center Covenant Church.&nbsp; 

Martha enjoyed the Kansas City Ballet, sewing, quilting, art appreciation, reading books to children and socializing with family and friends.&nbsp;

 Gene preceded her in death on May 11, 2015.&nbsp; 

Martha was a member of Prairie Baptist Church in Prairie Village, the University Women’s Organization, and the Quilting Guild.&nbsp; 

She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers Don O'Neil, Wade O'Neil and their spouses

Melvin H. Brummer was born to Louis and Marie (Schroeder) Brummer on May 20, 1937 in Tipton. He passed away on November 8, 2022 at the Resident Care Center in Beloit, KS at the age of 85.&nbsp;

Melvin grew up on a farm south of Tipton as the fifth of nine children where they learned a lot about farm life, faith and family. The Brummer brothers’ shenanigans sometimes led to a rosary on the shanty steps. 

He attended St. Boniface Grade School, graduating from Tipton High School in 1955.&nbsp;

After graduation, Melvin met his wife Geraldine (Boden) Brummer. They were united in marriage on May 2, 1959. They settled on a farmstead west of Tipton where they side-by side operated a Grade A dairy, cattle and farming operation. Melvin and Gerry were blessed with five children in their 56 years of loving marriage.&nbsp;

Melvin was an active member of the St. Boniface Catholic church. He served as an Acolyte and Eucharistic Minister. Melvin was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1645 where he served as Grand Knight and was also a member of the Robert F. Kennedy 4th Degree. One of his proudest moments was the installation of his three sons and two sons-in-law into the 4th Degree.&nbsp; Melvin placed a high value on faith, family, hard work and education, and therefore served as a member of the National Guard, Parish Council and Tipton School Board.

Melvin lived life to the fullest! He shared his wisdom, compassion, leadership and sense of humor with everyone. Some of his favorite pastimes were raising greyhounds (Queenie), coyote hunting, tending and checking his cattle on a Sunday drive to the pasture with fishing pole in tow. He loved the time spent playing pinochle and pitch with family, polka dancing and could be found tapping his foot along with a Lawrence Welk tune.&nbsp;

Melvin's 15 grandchildren captured his heart. They were familiar with the pet names of Smoke, George, Peter Murphy, and Snickle Fritz. He enjoyed giving them rides in his John Deere tractor where he was known to share life lessons along with fun stories. If they ever got bored, he taught them how to sing along to the tune of “Jimmy Crack Corn.”

Melvin's parents, his loving wife, Gerry, brother Charles, and sister Twyla Remus preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his five children: Robin (Kevin) Moore of Osborne, Stacie (Gery) Hake of Tipton, Troy (Stacey) Brummer of Osborne, Tyler (Rebecca) of Genesee, ID, and Chad (Candace) Brummer of Tipton; 15 grandchildren: Kylin and Katelyn Moore, Justin, Jaron, and Linden Hake, Megan (Kyle) Montoya, Shelby and Shyanne Brummer, Jayson and Alyssa Carswell, Tristen, Logan, and Cadyn Brummer, Trenton and Allison Brummer; great-granddaughter Kassidy Brummer along with two more great-grands arriving soon; Melvin’s siblings: Cynthia May of Beloit, Victor (Betty) Brummer of Tipton, Harry Brummer of Lincoln, Kenny (Joanne) Brummer of Tipton, Sylvia (Rick) Budke of Beloit, Michelle (Phillip) Murrow of Tipton;&nbsp; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who made his life complete.

Melvin will be remembered as someone who brought a light so great to the world that even after he’s gone, the light still remains forever in our hearts!

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 14 at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Tipton. A rosary service will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the rosary service begins at the Church. 

Memorials may be given to the Tipton schools or Masses.

Melvin and Gerry were blessed with five children in their 56 years of loving marriage.&nbsp;Melvin was an active member of the St. Boniface Catholic church. He served as an Acolyte and Eucharistic Minister. Melvin was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1645 where he served as Grand Knight and was also a member of the Robert F. Kennedy 4th Degree. One of his proudest moments was the installation of his three sons and two sons-in-law into the 4th Degree.&nbsp; Melvin placed a high value on faith, family, hard work and education, and therefore served as a member of the National Guard, Parish Council and Tipton School Board.Melvin lived life to the fullest! He shared his wisdom, compassion, leadership and sense of humor with everyone. Some of his favorite pastimes were raising greyhounds (Queenie), coyote hunting, tending and checking his cattle on a Sunday drive to the pasture with fishing pole in tow. He loved the time spent playing pinochle and pitch with family, polka dancing and could be found tapping his foot along with a Lawrence Welk tune.&nbsp;Melvin's 15 grandchildren captured his heart. They were familiar with the pet names of Smoke, George, Peter Murphy, and Snickle Fritz. He enjoyed giving them rides in his John Deere tractor where he was known to share life lessons along with fun stories. If they ever got bored, he taught them how to sing along to the tune of “Jimmy Crack Corn.”Melvin's parents, his loving wife, Gerry, brother Charles, and sister Twyla Remus preceded him in death. Survivors include his five children: Robin (Kevin) Moore of Osborne, Stacie (Gery) Hake of Tipton, Troy (Stacey) Brummer of Osborne, Tyler (Rebecca) of Genesee, ID, and Chad (Candace) Brummer of Tipton; 15 grandchildren: Kylin and Katelyn Moore, Justin, Jaron, and Linden Hake, Megan (Kyle) Montoya, Shelby and Shyanne Brummer, Jayson and Alyssa Carswell, Tristen, Logan, and Cadyn Brummer, Trenton and Allison Brummer; great-granddaughter Kassidy Brummer along with two more great-grands arriving soon; Melvin’s siblings: Cynthia May of Beloit, Victor (Betty) Brummer of Tipton, Harry Brummer of Lincoln, Kenny (Joanne) Brummer of Tipton, Sylvia (Rick) Budke of Beloit, Michelle (Phillip) Murrow of Tipton;&nbsp; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who made his life complete.Melvin will be remembered as someone who brought a light so great to the world that even after he’s gone, the light still remains forever in our hearts!Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 14 at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Tipton. A rosary service will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the rosary service begins at the Church.
