Pearlie Lee Storper
June 23, 1952 ~ March 31, 2024

Pearlie Lee Storper, 71, of Salina, died on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at the Smoky Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center in Salina, Kansas.

She was born on June 23, 1952 in Abilene, Kansas, the daughter of Robert and Nora (Burkhart) Lobdell. Pearlie was raised in Salina and attended Salina Central High School.

She married Pete Storper and were later divorced. Pearlie loved her dogs and she was always a joy to be around.

Survivors include her son Daniel Lobdell of Ellsworth, Kansas, special friend, Carl Frenzen.  Several brothers and sisters. As well as Kim Rayas who has taken care of Pearlie the past few years.

Until Pearlie’s health decline, she and Carl spent the past 37 years traveling across the United States.  Meeting many celebrities and completing the map of all 50 states was an enjoyable time spent together.

A special thank you to both Smoky Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center along with Interim Hospice and all others who took part in the care of Pearlie.  

Private inurnment services will be held at Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina.

In lieu of flowers a fund has been established for her son Daniel, contributions may be sent to Affordable Cremations Plus, 7920 W. Kellogg Drive, Suite 200, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
