Severe thunderstorms moved across central Kansas on June 15 impacting several festivals in the area. 

Storms started forming by about 3:00 p.m. The Salina Regional Airport clocked wind gust up to 77 mph at 4:08 pm. on Saturday.

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Severe thunderstorm warning for Central Saline County in central Kansas Until 5:00 p.m. 

At 4:09 p.m. CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Salina, moving northeast at 35 mph.

Hazard
70 mph wind gusts.

Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include:
 Salina, Smolan, New Cambria, and Salina Airport.

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for McPherson County in central Kansas until 4:45 p.m. CDT.

At 3:51 p.m. CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Buhler, moving northeast at 30 mph.

This new warning replaces the previous thunderstorm warning in effect for western McPherson county.

Locations impacted include. Mcpherson, Lindsborg, Inman, Galva, Marquette, Mcpherson Airport, and Roxbury.
