Salina authorities are seeking tips for a bicycle that was reportedly stolen.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Friday, March 20, between midnight and 8:00 am, a burglary occurred at Bike Tek (660 S. Ohio). The suspect gained entry to the building by using a rock to break a glass door.
The suspect then stole an all-black, small frame Trek Check-Out bicycle with racing handlebars.
The bike was valued at $5800, and the damage was valued at $2000.
The bicycle was later recovered locked to a telephone pole behind residences in the 1300 block of Louise Lane.
