Dangerously cold wind chills will continue to affect the area today and tonight. Limit outdoor activity, as frostbite could result in as little as 15 to 30 minutes. Be sure to cover any exposed skin and dress in warm layers of clothing.

It will not be as cold on Christmas day with highs climbing above freezing across most of central and southeast Kansas.
