On Wednesday The Salina Liberty and Nashville Kats each agreed to a schedule amendment proposed by the league and will square off in Nashville on Sunday, May 12th at 2:30.

This game replaces a matchup that would have seen the Liberty travel to Oregon to battle the BlackBears. The league is still working on reschedule the Liberty’s road matchup with Wichita, form more on that stay tuned to Salina Post.

Elsewhere in our area The Sacred Heart golf team rolled to yet another league title, taking five of the top six spots at this year's NCAA league tournament.

Seniors from all over the area took center stage, with Southeast of Saline's Dylan Esch and Sacred Heart's Walker Tuttle tying for the top spot, each carding a 73 on the day.

Excitement is ramping up as Wildcat fans will soon get the opportunity to see their favorite student-athletes and coaches as part of the Kansas State Athletics Catbacker Tour, which will begin on May 14th in Salina before heading to Western Kansas

And finally the NAIA Flag Football National Championships in Atlanta kicked off yesterday and Kansas Wesleyan split their two matchups, defeating Reinhardt University 36-6 before falling 33-7 to Thomas University. Action continues today at 11am
