The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 2:00 a.m. CDT for Marion County and southeastern Saline County in central Kansas.

At 12:59 a.m. CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Talmage to near Gypsum to 6 miles south of Lindsborg, moving east at 40 mph. The primary hazard associated with these storms is 70 mph wind gusts, as indicated by radar.

**Locations impacted include:** Hillsboro, Marion, Peabody, Florence, Goessel, Gypsum, Lincolnville, Ramona, Lehigh, Tampa, Durham, Lost Springs, Marion Lake, Bridgeport, Pilsen, and Kipp.

At 12:48 a.m. CDT, severe thunderstorms were observed along a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Idana to near Talmage to near Gypsum, moving east at 45 mph. The primary hazard associated with these storms is 70 mph wind gusts, as indicated by radar.

Locations impacted include Junction City, Abilene, Herington, Grandview Plaza, Chapman, Solomon, Wakefield, Riley, Enterprise, Milford, Hope, Woodbine, Manchester, Longford, Carlton, Oak Hill, Talmage, Milford Lake, and Moonlight. This also includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 267 and 300.

Residents should expect considerable tree damage, with likely damage to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted by the severe weather include Salina, Assaria, Gypsum, Brookville, Smolan, New Cambria, Falun, Glendale, Bridgeport, Salina Airport, and Kipp.
