The National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita has issued a wind chill warning that remains in effect until noon Tuesday for the following counties in our area.
Marion County
McPherson County
Dangerously cold wind chills are expected, with wind chills as low as 30 below zero.
The dangerously cold wind chills can cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Avoid outside activities if possible. When outside, make sure you wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
