Salina law enforcement has arrested a suspect who stole an unattended and running vehicle from a gas station on July 15.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on July 17 at around 12:30 pm, officers located the stolen vehicle at the Kwik Shop parking lot (1600 S. 9th).
With the assistance of the Kansas Highway Patrol, law enforcement arrested Brent Corwin (46 of Salina. Corwin was reportedly exiting the Kwik Shop convenience store and about to enter the stolen vehicle.
During the arrest a search warrant was conducted on the vehicle, and officers located methamphetamine and a firearm.
Corwin was booked into the Saline County jail for Felony possession of stolen property, Criminal possession of a weapon, Possession of methamphetamine and Drug paraphernalia.
