Above-average temperatures will prevail this weekend, especially Sunday. Strong and gusty south winds Sunday will lead to elevated fire danger areawide.
Enjoy the warmer weather while you can. Much colder air is expected to encompass mid-America from mid-next week through at least next weekend. Periodic wintry precipitation may accompany the colder air, although there remains quite a bit of uncertainty, so stay tuned.
