Wind chill advisories remain in effect for counties in our area, with bitter cold wind chills of approximately 10 to 20 degrees below zero expected through Sunday morning..

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a wind chill advisory in effect until 11 a.m. Sunday for the following counties in our area.

Ellsworth County

Lincoln County

Saline County

Bitter cold wind chills are expected including wind chills as low as 15 to 25 below zero.

The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Additionally, the National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a wind chill advisory in effect until 11 a.m. Sunday for the following counties in our area.

Marion County

McPherson County

Very cold wind chills are expected, with some as low as 15 below zero.

The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

The National Weather Service in Hastings, Neb., has issued a wind chill advisory that is currently in effect and will remain so until noon Sunday for the following counties in our area.

Jewell County

Mitchell County

Very cold wind chills with some as low as 25 to 30 below zero are expected.

The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a wind chill advisory in effect from 12 a.m.-11 a.m. Sunday for the following counties in our area.

Clay County

Cloud County

Ottawa County

Republic County

Very cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero are expected through Sunday morning.

The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes, and could be dangerous for vulnerable populations and those that may become stranded in their vehicles.

Additionally, the National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a wind chill advisory in effect from 12 a.m.-11 a.m. Sunday that includes Dickinson County.
