Single digit wind chills, light snow across central Kansas Friday evening

According to the US National Weather Service, light snow will impact much of the central Kansas area Friday evening. Between 1-2 inches of snow is expected across central Kansas, with locally higher amounts possible. 

Salina is in the area where it could receive 1 - 2 inches of snow.

Use extra caution if traveling tonight as slick spots are possible, especially on elevated surfaces.

Additionally, wind chills are are expected to be in the single digits across central Kansas.

Salina's chills could get as low as 5, with a 23 degree low temperature.
