According to SPD Capt. David Villanueva, the victim reported that between 3:30 and 8:38 p.m., Thursday, she and Meyer met at a residence in the 1800 block of North Fifth Street where the alleged criminal acts took place.

"The charges are aggravated criminal sodomy as well as sexual battery," Villanueva said. "The story goes, a female was forced to perform a sexual act upon a male against her will."

Villanueva said that the victim reported Meyer, leading SPD officers to locate and arrest him for the crime. The victim continues to cooperate with officers throughout the investigation.

Salina Post will update the story if SPD provides further information regarding the investigation.
