UPDATE: Small quakes rattle part of SE Saline County Thursday

UPDATE 9:30 a.m. Friday: A 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck southwest of Gypsum late Thursday night, the Kansas Geological Survey reported.

The quake, which struck at 10 p.m. Thursday, was centered north of E. Hedberg Road between S. Kipp Road and S. Whitmore Road.

GYPSUM - Seismic activity continued in southeastern Saline County this morning when a 2.5 magnitude earthquake struck southwest of Gypsum.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, the quake, which struck at 8:49 a.m. Thursday, was centered just north of E. Hedberg Road between S. Niles Road and S. Cunningham Road.
