UPDATE 8:58 p.m. Friday: The Kansas Geological Survey has reported that three additional earthquakes have shaken southeastern Saline County Friday, bringing the total for the day to seven.

At 2:32 p.m. Friday, a 2.6 magnitude quake struck southwest of Gypsum. The quake was centered west of S. Niles Road between E. Hedberg Road and E. Assaria Road.

A 2.0 magnitude quake struck at 6:56 p.m. Friday. It was centered east of S. Cunningham Road between E. Hedberg Road and E. Assaria Road.

At 7:23 p.m. Friday, a 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck. It was centered east of S. Niles Road between E. Hedberg Road and E. Assaria Road.

GYPSUM - Small earthquakes continued to rattle part of southeastern Saline County on Friday.

The Kansas Geological Survey reported that a 3.6 magnitude quake struck at 8:23 a.m. Friday southwest of Gypsum. It was centered southwest of the S. Whitmore Road/E. Assaria Road intersection.

At 8:53 a.m. Friday, a 2.5 magnitude quake struck. It was centered west of S. Niles Road between E. Hedberg Road and E. Assaria Road.

At 8:57 a.m. Friday, a 2.0 magnitude quake struck. It was centered just southwest of the S. Cunningham Road/E. Assaria Road intersection.

Then, at 11:10 a.m., another 2.0 magnitude quake struck nearby. It was centered further southwest of the S. Cunningham Road/E. Assaria Road intersection.
