UPDATE 10:10 p.m. Thursday: Two more earthquakes have rattled part of southeastern Saline County, bringing the Thursday total to four.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.3 magnitude quake struck at 3:07 p.m. Thursday southwest of Gypsum. It was centered just west of S. Niles Road between E. Hedberg Road and E. Assaria Road.

At 6:18 p.m. Thursday, a 2.5 magnitude quake struck southwest of Gypsum. It was centered northwest of the S. Whitmore Road/E. Hedberg Road intersection.

UPDATE 2:45 p.m. Thursday: The Kansas Geological Survey has reported another small earthquake in southeastern Saline County Thursday.

The 2.3 magnitude quake was centered west of S. Kipp Road between E. Hedberg Road and E. Assaria Road.

After a bout with 12 earthquakes on Wednesday, southeastern Saline County continued to shake Thursday morning.

The Kansas Geological Survey reported that a 2.4 magnitude quake struck southwest of Gypsum at 4:39 a.m. Thursday. It was centered south of E. Assaria Road between S. Niles Road and S. Cunningham Road.
