Join the Salina Art Center as it cuts the ribbon, Aug. 4 reopening its newly remodeled cinema.🍿
The Cinema features new luxury seating, state-of-the-art projection, and sound technology, including T-Coil Hearing Loop technology, and a full-service concession stand with exclusive Kansas-based offerings.

The Cinema will reopen August 4 with the first film showing Wes Anderson's newest, “Asteroid City” 🎬
At 3 p.m. there will be a Ribbon Cutting with Salina Chamber of Commerce. Cinema staff told Salina Post that Cinema Tours, Red Carpet Movie Premiere Photo Booth, and refreshments will be offered at the event.
At 6 p.m. the Cinema presents Wes Anderson's Astroid City.

The cinema is open Friday through Wednesday, showing at 6 p.m. each evening. Friday features our additional late-night screening at 8:30 PM, where all tickets are only $8. You can catch a film on Saturdays & Sundays at either 2 p.m. or 6 p.m.

This year has already been an incredible year in film. From YouTube creators, Danny and Michael Philippou, debuting their first feature film, “Talk To Me” at Sundance to Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer premiering on 70mm IMAX.
But most importantly, in our world here in Salina, is the installation of our new state-of-the-art projector, sound system and seating.
These new updates brings us one step closer to providing the ultimate cinematic experience designed to elevate your movie night and enhance Salina’s connection with film and culture.
