Small quake strikes southwest of Gypsum Sunday evening

GYPSUM - A minor earthquake shook part of southeastern Saline County Sunday evening.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.3 magnitude earthquake struck southwest of Gypsum at 7:38 p.m. It was centered just north of E. Hedberg Road between S. Niles Road and S. Cunningham Road.
