Saline County law enforcement make arrests, following an investigation of a plethora of items being stolen from a storage lot.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office on May 11, law enforcement conducted a search warrant at 1332 W. North Street.
As a result, recovered was more than $35,000 worth of stolen equipment and property.
Undersheriff Brent Melander stated that Ryan Ollenberger (44) of Salina, Amanda Rothfuss (40) of Salina was arrested for the alleged stolen property and equipment.
Ollenberger was placed on requested charges of Burglary, Theft, Criminal Damage to Property, Reckless Driving, Criminal Trespass, Theft by Deception, Felony Making False Information and Possession of Stolen Property.
Rothfuss was placed on requested charges of Burglary, Felony & Misdemeanor Theft, Criminal Damage to Property, Criminal Trespass and Possession of Stolen Property.
Melander stated there is an estimate of around 80% of the reported stolen items were recovered.
Additionally, many of those items may have been pawned or sold, according to Melander.
The investigation is ongoing.
