Salina law enforcement are seeking tips for two juvenile suspects who are connected to a convenience store burglary.
Original: Investigation ongoing: Two convenience stores damaged and over $1,000 of vapes stolen
On Monday, March 2 at about 9:30 pm, two suspects attempted to break out the door to Rod’s Convenience Store #5, (680 S. Phillips). The suspects were unable to gain entry to the building. The damage to the door was estimated to be $1000.
At about 10:15 pm that same day, the two suspects broke the glass door of Rod’s Convenience Store #1, (1401 S. Santa Fe). The suspects were able to gain entry to the store where they stole about 60 assorted vape cartridges. Total loss and damage were estimated at $1200.
The suspects were described as possible juveniles.
The first suspect was described as wearing a ball cap, gray sweater/jacket, black pants, dark shoes.
The second suspect was wearing a black puffy jacket, face covering, maroon sweatshirt, black pants, gloves, and a dark colored backpack.
