Multiple warnings took effect Monday evening, after severe thunderstorms, heavy rainfall and 80 mph wind gusts occurred in Salina.

The US National Weather Service issued a Flood Watch earlier on Monday, before it became a warning due to the storms that took place at around 9:00 pm.

Monday's storms also caused a widespread power outage, with over&nbsp;26,000 people affected across Saline County.

Due to the 80-mph wind gusts, flying debris and trees stricken down caused damage to various vehicles and houses.&nbsp;

Roads were also flooded as roughly 2 to 7 inches of rainfall fell on Salina/Saline County roads. Debris and struck trees caused road blockages in various areas as well.

Law enforcement and first responders were active throughout the evening, past midnight as well.
