Salina Police Department (SPD) officers are investigating a second construction site burglary near Fountain Blvd. in Salina following a similar incident reported earlier on August 8.
SPD Cpt. James Feldman said during the overnight hours of August 7 to August 8, suspect(s) stole from a B W Concrete trailer.
"They had their trailer lock cut off and taken were two Stihl TS-420 Cut Quick concrete saws. The total loss on those two items was $1,800," Feldman said.
Given the similarity in the stolen items, authorities are considering the possibility that this incident may be connected to a previous construction site burglary in the area. However, no definitive link has been established at this time.
The investigation into both burglaries is ongoing, and the Salina Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward.
