Salina Police Department officers are investigating another burglary at a construction site in south Salina. The burglary occurred at the Southview Estates construction site near the intersection of Ohio and Schilling in Salina.
"A construction trailer was broken into between 5 p.m, on Aug. 7 and 7 a.m. on Aug. 8," Feldman said. "Stolen were three DeWalt saws, 26 DeWalt batteries, two half-inch DeWalt impact drills, a DeWalt rotary hammer drill and a charger."
The total value of the stolen equipment is estimated at $5,470.
Feldman said the trailer belongs to a private contractor whose business name has not been disclosed.
The investigation is ongoing, and the Salina Police Department is encouraging anyone with information about the burglary to come forward. Salina Police (785) 826-7210.
