Hello and happy Wednesday everybody, it’s Tyler Henry, back with another KINA Sports Update presented by Salina Regional Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.

In case you missed it earlier this week KSHSAA unveiled the official sites for the 2025 state basketball tournaments and many will remain the same across the board.
The 6A tournament will still be hosted at Koch Arena in Wichita, 5A at White Auditorium in Emoporia, 4A at Tony’s Pizza Events Center in Salina, 3A at the Hutch Sports Arena, 2A at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan and 1A split between Dodge City and Colby

Speaking of hoops, Kansas State head coach Jerome Tang secured the services of one of the top shot blockers with the signing of elite big man oo-gah-na On-yen-so
A 7-foot, 247-pound center and former consensus top-25 recruit, Onyenso arrives at K-State after spending the last 2 seasons at Kentucky, where he was a part of 45 wins, including 25 in SEC play, and consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. He played in 40 games in his 2 seasons as a Wildcat, and recently withdrew his name after declaring for the NBA draft

And finally Aaron Judge hit his major league-leading 25th home run into the fountains last night, as the New York Yankees routed the Kansas City Royals 10-1 for their 11th win in 14 games.
Game two is set for this evening at 7:10 as the Royals look to even the series in KC
