UPDATE: Salina Police still investigating home burglary

The Salina Police Department (SPD) has sent out a Crimestoppers release to the public, as they are seeking tips regarding a home burglary.

According to SPD on Friday, June 27th between 5:00 am and 1:00 pm, an alleged burglary occurred at a home on the 200 block of N. West Place. A victim living at the home reported that about '15 firearms were stolen.' Police stated that the firearms missing included several Walther brand handguns, a vintage British bolt action rifle and several other rifles and handguns.

Total loss was estimated to be around $9,000.

SPD advises that anyone with surveillance cameras in the area of the 200 block of N. West Place is asked to contact, Detective R. Constantino at (785) 826-7210.
