Salina Police are currently investigating a home burglary that consisted of several guns being stolen.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Friday, June 27th just after 1:00 pm, SPD received a call about about an alleged residential burglary that occurred on the 200 block of NW. Place.
Police stated that a 66-year old male reported that sometime between 5:00 am - 1:00 pm on Friday, an unknown suspect(s) entered his home and stole a total '16 guns.' The guns consisted of a mix of rifles and handguns.
SPD confirmed there was no forced entry and estimated cost was determined to be around $9,000 currently.
Police are currently investigating the crime and are seeking for surveillance video.
No identification was confirmed regarding the unknown suspect(s).
